down loaded s5 rom for micromax a110 by DG RULES, BUT, messaging is not working and also nothing can be downloaded from play store it gives error message, I tried the patch, it did not help, kindly let me know the reason

Offcourse you can change it easily but do take a backup first so that you can revert back. I always do this first after booting....
Never got bricked but do not change the finger prints.....

i know that buddy i did it when i was on ics, was working fine, but when i tried doing it after i upgraded to official jb by mmx , phone was soft bricked ( i used es explorer) then i flashed jmp v 9, now my device shows samsung gt-s9081, hence many games in play store are not showing thats y i askd, wheter i can do it in jmp rom, dont wanna reflash rom again, cause i have free version of tb and restoring all the apps one by one is a serious pain in a$$

Hi, if you don't mind having a 4.2 camera app then install the attached through CWMR and it will change your device identity to 'Galaxy Nexus' and Android Version to '4.2'
I don't know how but it does this. Do share your comments if this works for you.

I downloaded it from here from one of the threads (which I am not able to recall) and hence giving an open credit to the developer/compiler of the same here and also am thankful to him/her. If you want custom ROMs, there are many all are 4.2.2 or less, search on Facebook for "Walton N1 Primo Family" named group where almost every week we have a new ROM, if you just want a fake android number than use build prop editor from play store to change 4.1.2 to 4.4 and you will have it after reboot.

Hello everyone!
Today I flashed the MIUI v5 3.12.21 rom on my A110.
Then I tried installing my old apk files only to get an error "Application not installed"
So I thought I'd go to the Play Store and download something, only to discover that there was another error
"Unknown error code during install -110"
Can anyone please help me fix this. I love this rom, but not being able to install any app totally sucks!

Fixed by flashing a new Kernel 3.4.75 Xtreme Happiness

Have you installed kernel....
This type of problems mainly arises when users don't flash custom kernel....if ur device is jb out of box then use bindassboost otherwise camera and messaging will not work.

Nice rom, but gprs is not working, wifi reception is low also playstore is not working, auto rotate is always on, setting stops sometimes as well.

I updated camera but still there is no camera app.

hello all i ported a rom to my mtk6589 device and the youtube app is showing this error "there was a problem while playing touch to retry" i flashed GmsCore.apk and it didnt worked..
