[Completed] Lenovo A10-70 image - XDA Assist

Long story short, new tablet and I updated using the OTA which failed during install. I was going to reflash the OEM image, but i'm unable to find the correct image. Lenovo apparently has the source code available (http://mobilesupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/tablets/a-series/a10-70-tablet/downloads/DS100177) but it looks like it needs to be compiled. Can someone assist?

You may wish to reach the manufacturer Lenovo for the same. I see that there is no forum for this tablet. However, if you pose your request in Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking forum, someone may be able to help.

LF G Flex 2 Build Tree

Hi everybody. I've been working on making rom's for our amazing device (g Flex 2), mine being a h950 with h950PR rooted firmware on it. .. Now I've come in to some difficulty (understatement). Long Story Short, I was wondering if anybody possesses proper Source Build Tree Files for the Flex 2.
Looking for the files on the web, I have come to no avail, well, ONE tree I did find was for an outdated version of cyanogen mod... and even that was incomplete... and in its code it points to a thousand (exaggerating) other phones in its tree codes. making it a debuggers worse nightmare.
I'm here today to ask of my esteemed fellow XDA developers... Does anybody possess the G Flex 2 Build Tree Files requires to successfully build a rom for our great device? Writing all the files by hand myself will take, forever, indeed we may even have a G Flex 3 by then....
May anybody please pleaser help me out
P.S. I know the boot loader is locked... for now...

bootloader is locked
I did with aosp a time ago, but security error 9.
So the bootloader not only locks the kernel, It locks system too.
So you can mod /system, but some changes locks bootloader, and with a custom rom, there is no way...
We need unlocked bootloader to do this.

damn... I appreciate the reply though. I know LG has released a process for unlocking the G4 (Europe Edition)... I’ve begun working on seeing if there’s a way to port that (after all some of our roots were based off G4's).. though the board is not a msm8994.... and there process involves you sending them your phones info... damn Safe Boot why, why do you do this to us. (I ran into this same issue porting linux kernel to my Hp ah155nr laptop) Anyway I’ve been exploring Qualcomm's tools, and using other Snapdragon 810 boards builds... one day we will have this working....

[Completed] Help with a LG G Pad 7.0

So I'm very new to the whole rooting process and ran into some issues with my Verizon LG G Pad 7.0.
I was trying to root my tablet and put Cyanogenmod 13 on it so it can be like stock Android.
Rooted it with RootKing and tried to flash the recovery with TWRP and ever since I tried that, in the upper right-hand corner when attempting anything system level like that, it says Error: boot certification verify.
The tablet functions but it won't do a factory data reset or wipe the cash or anything like that.
I've tried the LG Mobile Support Tool and the Verizon Wireless Software Upgrade Assistant too to repair the device but it keep failing.
Any help would be much appreciated.

there is no original rom for huawei gr3 tag-l13?

MEXICO, October 3, 2016
HELLO, GOOD EVENING, FORUM:
I hope someone can help me in this.
I bought this phone HUAWEI GR3 TAG-L13 TELCEL branded from my country, México, in a monthly plan, which I think is engaging.
It seems to me an excellent device, of course, with some deficiencies, but in attempting to root with SuperSu I left it in an eternal bootloop.
Tried, unsuccessfully, remove it from that state by several methods. I looked up, like many other users, as I saw on Google, tirelessly for many days without getting any method...
The official website of Huawei does not offer any firmware for this device in the country and telephone carrier; there is simply NO official firmware for it!, only the OPEN SOURCE, on which is must compile the firmware, knowledge that the user basic not have about the topic. As a result it is impossible to reinstall the operating system specific for this device, not until Huawei releases compiled firmware (UPDATE.APP, UPDATE.ZIP).
In the end, I resorted to the method described in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/andr...oy-5s-t3433527
This method really works, I have recovered my device and operate, although under the operating system of the carrier TIM (the only download found, as explained in the post mentioned, but is for the specific device TAG-L22, being my own TAG-L13 device operated by Telcel); However, I am determined to fully restore my device to use the functions [IMEI and SIM non-operating loss] and [plan] benefits of my carrier.
I have not resorted to my carrier's Service Center for obvious reasons.
So I come to this forum, of which I hope to get some help, this consisting of that any user of this service have the same device in Mexico and have make a back or attempt to successfully backup your operating system HUAWEI GR3 (TAG-L13) (TELCEL MEXICO - C17B103) ANDROID 5.1, EMUI3.1 [which must be and it has left the factory, i.e. without modifications, or make a previously hard reset], It is required to install recovery Team Win Recovery Project, TWRP, (explained in the same post linked above) and make a TWRP backup or the method Online Nandroid.
NOTE:
If you want to ROOT the device, BE CAREFUL:
SuperSu caused the problem of bootloop on my device, by that, alternatively, install the root of KingRoot_4.9.6_APKTrunk.apk to the device if necessary, or find any other method in Google, and must BE CAREFUL with this part, to avoid the dreaded bug bootloop. For this reason I RECOMMEND STRONGLY to TWRP INSTALL and perform the corresponding BACKUP BEFORE performing any other operation on the device, if is arrived at require reinstalling the same for any problems, included this bootloop.
The objective of this request is that user who has made or makes the suggested backup or have full operating system intact to raise that much-needed support from the operating system to this forum to do the recovery of my device.
I have found these ways to create a file update.zip to flash the operating system suitable to my device; therefore I require this endorsement, which motivates me to write this request to the Forum, waiting for any possible help.
I am infinitely grateful first attention to this request, and of course, the positive response to it; and reward to the possible favorable support of Forum, I commit myself to upload it this .zip file with the corresponding guidelines or referrals for help from someone who had the same problem.
Thank you sincerely.
.D.: Have uploaded or will upload this request to others forums in hopes of a prompt solution. I offer an apology for my bad English.
Hi
I'm from Mexico too and have the same problem with same model and carrier TAG-L13 Telcel ... I can't found rom and even try 2 or 3"custom roms" like that thread TIM image .... with that the device works but there's no signal ( No sim detected and no Imei info )
I think maybe if install xposed and change IMEI maybe carrier would recognize it but not ....
I'll continue searching and wait to respond from forum member's too
I really hope someone can help us
Note:Even tried to ask Huawei's service and the only answer they gave me was " Send it to Service Center , wait 1 month or more and of course we will charge you "
P.D. Sorry for my bad english too XD
Regards

URGENT! Need Help with my ZF3U

UPDATE:
I have now installed the manual update for Android 7.0 and this helped to resolve some of the issues:
-I can now make and receive calls fully with voice enabled
-Bootloader updated from 1.26 to 3.11
BUT:
-Fingerprint Recognition still not working
-Device serial number still shows as 111111111111111
-Device shows as encrypted- could this be the cause and how?
If anyone has any suggestions please assist.
MY ORIGINAL POST RE ISSUES:
Following release of Android 7 for ZF3U, I updated and then wanted to unlock the bootloader and carry out root. All went fine but now after unlocking the bootloader and root I have a major problem. My ZF3U does not show the correct device serial number in the initial setup wizard and in about phone section of settings. All I get is "111111111111111". Secondly, whilst all other functions are working fine, I can no longer hear the sound of any made or received phone calls.
I also tried to use the ASUS Flash Tool to reinstall the firmware but could not and at one point I saw a message stating that the device was being encrypted . I have no idea what implications this has but I my phone does not allow use of internal speakers or microphone for the other side to hear me. It appears that the serial number issue started with my use of the Asus Flash Tool. I am also not sure if this encryption issue caused the issue as it may have locked certain parts of the device.
Also, as a result I am unable to set the fingerprint recognition in initial setup or after setup. Pin code, pattern etc can be setup but not fingerprint security.
Tried to use TWRP to reinstall the firmware. All installs fine but the problem is still there. I pressed the decrypta button inside TWRP settings but still no fix. Also, did all the usual wipes etc.... still no fix. I don't know what to do. I now wish I had not played around with the phone and simply used it as it was. With the bootloader unlocked no Android 7 anymore until manual firmware becomes available. My device serial number still shows as "111111111111111" but when I launch the fastboot/recovery mode I do see the correct serial number but the device boots to UI with the incorrect serial number. My theory is that the Asus Flash Tool caused the problem but I am not sure how.
Also if anyone has the original factory boot.img and other relevant .img files for me to fix the bootloader in case this is the problem thatI would be very appreciated. Also, I have read that the .raw firmware files for this device could fix the problem but not sure and the files cannot be found anywhere online.
I also by removed the root and did a fresh install of the previous firmware Android 6.0 and the problems still exist. I am not sure if the downgrade from Android 7 could have caused these problems too but I am trying to pinpoint the problem somehow. So if anyone has a full manual .Raw or normal .zip version of the Android 7.0 firmware then please provide a download link. If all fails then I would have to see if I could get Asus to fix it for me.
All suggestions and workarounds desperately welcome. Thanks.
1. Try posting about your issues in Taiwanese Asus forums under this topic:
https://www.asus.com/zentalk/tw/thread-216020-4-2.html
Use Google Translator in order to navigate the Taiwenese forum. Post your message in English.
2. Try posting about your issues in XDA Asus Zenfone 3 forums (regular Zenfone 3, not Zenfone 3 ultra), because regular Zenfone 3 community is larger, however devices should be quite similar:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-3
As always, keep Zenfone 3 ultra community informed with your future findings, so we all could learn something new and help each other.

[Question] Blackview A80Plus Firmware

Hi people,
can anyone tell me where i can download the stock-rom / firmware-image for Blackview A80Plus device?
Blackview itself just offering the A80 and A80S software.
Bootloader was unlocked successful, but SP-Software won't detect my phone in recovery mode. (Something missing maybe?)
And then, the problem to find actual rom's. The device was released 2020 and no specific LineageOS or other custom-rom is available.
Maybe we can collect some founds in this thread.
This would be very helpful for persons with the same problem.
