[Q] In Need of the Scratch Wireless ROM - Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE

Hey everybody,
As the title may imply, I am a user of Scratch Wireless. I accidentally erased the stock ROM (their custom version of JB 4.1.2) without taking a backup of it through TWRP and as such I'm in really desperate need of this ROM.
Is there anybody who happens to have a copy of it on hand which I may use, or are there any ideas on how I should go about solving this problem? Anything helps.

Anyone? I'm also interested. I backed it up. But then I may have wiped the device again after that, because I can't see anything in the Restore in TWRP...

create backup INCL rom

Hi everyone,
i've been using a very nice rom for quite a while, but installed an update from it, but that update gave issues, so i wanted to use the previous one again.
Unfortunately I don't have it anymore and the chef that cooked it neither, so I'm kinda stuck here.
Luckily I've also flashed it on a friend's phone and now I'd like to extract/backup his entire phone so I can flash it back on mine again and we can both save of a copy of the backup, in case one of us loses it.
It's no problem if there is also user data in the backup, I can clean it up afterwards and make a new clean backup if someone could point me to the right application for this.
thx a lot and grtz,
dasiro

ROM Backup Question

Hi there,
I rooted my phone, and following the guide, from the recovery screen did a 'NAND' back up before wiping then flashing a new ROM. Am I right in thinking, the 'NAND' backup took a copy/image of my phone, I.e if I wanted to return my phone to it's original state, with the stock ROM from my vendor, I could just do a 'Nand' restore?
Thanks
Absolutely correct. Can be restored either from within Rom Manager or directly from Recovery.
Thanks Mr Gently,
So I'm guessing now that I've installed a custom Rom and set it up how I like, if I wanted to test drive a different ROM, I could do another 'NAND' backup, incase I don't like the new ROM, restore it back to how my phone is as I'm typing this, apps and all?
Precisely! It's a great feature to have, especially as you can have multiple backups and swap between them as you see fit.
Huzzah!A great feature indeed, thanks for replying.

[Q] Lg vortex nandroid backup accidently deleted off sdcard! help!

hello, latly i installed a custom recovery, and flashed a preview cm7 rom for my lg vortex. while i was playing around with it, my nandroid backup got deleted off the sdcard. i tried to get it back using A LOT of various recovery software, but i had no luck. so now i am wondering if someone with an lg vortex is willing to share their nandroid backup, or can someone help me recover it!? and i also need the stock recovery .img, cuz i forgot to back that up before installing the custom recovery! Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
If i were you i would not get someone else's nandroid. The reason being that a nandroid backs up EVERYTHING, including phone radio data and and the phones unique network signatures. If you fashion a backup from another phone the software will work, but i dont believe you will be able to make calls or have any network connection.
I know this because my buddy with an evo flashed a backup he had from his original phone into a replacement, and really screwed things up...
You may just have to flash stock software by other means, and each manufacturer has a way to do this. Check the forums for the vortex and there should be a solution.
Thanks for the heads up on that! and what about the original recovery.img? is it possible for someone to give it to me, or is everyone's recovery unique also?

[Q] Help, stuck in bootloop with CM 10 ROM

So I was able to successfully root my AT&T HTC One X and decided I wanted to install the CM 10 ROM (1st ROM install). I did all the data backups with Titanium, downloaded the latest zip files from cyanogenMod (both the 12/13 and 12/14 nightly versions), transferred them to my phone, booted into recovery (TWRP), did a back-up, did a system wipe, flashed the ROM and then did a reboot. However, when it boots it gets stuck in the boot-up screen (bootloop) and doesn't do anything. I have read on this and it keeps saying to wipe system data again and flash the ROM again and it keeps doing this. I want to install this ROM, but I need some help. Any suggestions on what I did wrong?
Note: I accidentally posted this in the Android Q&A section, so I apologize for the double post. I just think this is probably the best place to get my answer.
Did you flash the boot.img?
I did, but incorrectly the first time. I flashed it the right way and everything is working good. Then only problem I have now is when restoring from Titanium Backup it gives me an error from a process called com.android.phone (I think that is what it said). So I wiped it again and rebooted and everything is fine. I can reinstall all the apps, but what could cause that? Could it be some of the data backed up doesn't cooperate with this ROM? Either way I love the CM10 ROM.

if they are backups from sense, that *MAY* cause problems, but don't quote me on that. I don't use sense, can't say for sure
OK, maybe that is why. Not a big deal since I haven't had the One X too long. Thanks for the help guys.
Good to know

TWRP fails after update

So guys, yesterday I updated twrp (cwm) on my i9505 and everything worked fine.
this afternoon i suddenly couldnt use my phone anymore because i got systemui fc's messages every 3 seconds.
i reflashed the rom, cleaned cache +dalvik but it still wouldnt work.
so i thought: hey, you did a complete backup yesterday, why not use that.
well, seems that this didnt work out so well.
its always telling me failed when trying to restore either /system or /data (boot and efs works fine).
i dont exactly know whether i made the backup before or after the update, but either way i do think that it SHOULD NOT be a problem (im looking at you, devs)
do you guys have any idea on how i can possibly use my old backups? i downgraded again but it still says failed everytime
any help will be greatly appreciated.
oh and yes, i did use the search, but all suggestions that help didnt with me
hi.
i'm not a pro/dev, but by flashing rom or restoring backup i think you are missing a point.
i think, you need stock recovery too to have phone fully reset. in case you flash Stock rom i think it also flashes stock recovery too. but incase not, the old recovery and changes you made to custom recovery are still there. so you maybe is facing that problem.
as i mentioned above that i'm not pro/dev, so again just trying to find the exact problem/point maybe you are missing or i could be wrong too. all i mean is that updated recovery is still there. see in case you can flash stock recovery and stock/custom rom again. i hope you get the point/idea what i mean to say. try it and i think you'll not get the error.
but do not do anything in case you are not sure/aware about what you are doing.
i hope it help.
no, i dont need the stock recovery to fully reset it. trwp can do that too.
actually my point was that it denies to restore that backup and i have no goddman clue why.
(so nothing about roms or so, all that works perfectly fine)
ok i fixed it, it seems like the last backup i made was faulty so i just took an older backup. never had an issue like this before
