I have been reading through all the posts about the June 30th 2014 update but I could not find a definitive confirmation that Towelroot still works on this update. Any kind soul out there could chime if they have successfully done it?
SOLVED - YES it is compatible.

Perhaps it would benefit all if you were to update the title of this thread to add [solved] to it. This way folks would know that you already found a solution. TIA

After all the "will be fixed in next update" messages received from Sony at the Support forums, I saw on PTCRB a new firmware 23.4.A.0.580 posted for the D6633 as certified on August 19th.
Anyone has any more info about this? I can't find it anywhere...

I have SM-G920V G920VVRS4CQA3 v6.0.1 and want to prevent v7 OTA upgrade. Can I down grade with root to 5.1, or better yet, root with same v6.0.1, to be able to run a program that won't run on Android v7 working? If yes, can you post how you achieved it? Is there a risk in tripping the KNOX? Thx, tm

I have a gbox q2 that hasn't worked in months correctly. There is a new firmware update out that might fix several of my problems, but I can't fine the update anyplace. The Matricom site is of no use and the forum that has the update has been down for days now. My question is does anyone know where I can find the update? One other thing is can the q2 be updated from 5.1.1 to 6.0 os. Thanks for any help and sorry if I have posted in the wrong place.
no update

Dude, there is no such update to android 6.0...
The latest firmware can be found here url deleted*
Although with Matricoms previous for completely cocking up firmware updates, coupled with the fact that their forum is down for weeks, I wouldn't be too surprised if it was no help at all.
*Seems I'm not allowed to post you a link
Look on the Matricom wiki
I have several gboxes, just good memories I guess..

Not a problem my friend. Was that what the update was for? You can also request the thread be closed by one of your moderators if you so choose as well. ??
Yes it was just a February update. I would like to close this thread. They got me excited as if someone figured out how to unlock the Verizon bootloader and they needed to push an emergency update. Lol

I have had my Z Flip 3 since October 6th. I received the September 2021 security update immediately. But since the October 2021 update has been released, my phone will not get it. I have tried several times to check for updates, but it says there is no updates. Has anyone else on Verizon in the US got this update?
I see I can download an update from SamMobile, but I wasn't sure it was for Verizon.

Thank you, but this will not work for me. I loaded Frija, but Verizon updates are not available through Frija.

I believe the base update for the 711U is the same across all US carriers. Just pick another CSC such as TMB.
