Mistake

Hello.
I have an samsung galaxy note gt n7000 rooted and i mistake.
I have replace a Contacts.apk without backup it and this that i replace its broken and when i open Phone its broken so can i have the Contacts.apk by copy it from your System/APP Please

Download stock ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997 choose your firmware and extract contact.apk and contact.odex and reinstall with root explorer or es file explorer :good:

but how to extract from. img files?

download and flash the apks from this thread ,they could solve your issue

I must justmdo Flash Recovery the zip file?

this is the link I posted in the first reply. This is not the original apk but it's modded to give a big caller photo.
either flash it or manually paste the files in system/app

When im try to download the moded that gives bigger photo screen it tells me that the user hosting the file doesnt have some bandwiches look:

Hello guys.
After searching on forums i find how to extract .img files from Samsung MD5 Tool that there is hiding the stock app ''Contacts.apk'' and know i have back the original apk

3) Replace file from my Archive to their respective folder in /System with rw-r--r-- permission

EDIT: I forgot this file, so in order to make it work, you will need to replace THIS on /System/Framwork (please BackUp)

You need Adroid.Policy.jar from Exynos Note 3 System Dumb, I do not have it, but you can ask for in Note 3 Forum

No, its not working, i was thinking about manually pushing in the apps folder or flashable zip. Please try to do something with it. It will be greate if you make a flashable zip i can be Your tester for that

Everything ok but on the core 2 we don't have download thumbnail in the camera app. If there was one I wouldn't ask for it.

Try To Check If Have another button or try to install two modes,that i given link

Maybe You will try to port S5 Camera with other modes support?
If You port it ill be your tester again But only for odexed beacuse i have odexed phone. Please try it. I dont have any porting knowledge so... Thats your move.

Hmmm... i deleted SecCamera2_ESS and odex and flashed it and nothing appear in the app drawer, i was looking in the app folder in system and i dont found an camera file
Maybe i did something wrong? Help, thats your work and i dont want to your project go sux

Im using FX File explorer and when i tried to extract this files to tge system i failed beacuse seccamera3.apk is read only. I tried to change permissions. Nothing.

Where are the lib folders of previous launcher?
Did u deleted the lib folder?
Push the previous launcher's lib files to system/priv-app/SecMms_Delight_Note_Open/lib/arm.
Set rwrr permissions.
Then Reboot..

Friends , anyone know how to enable multi user or guest mode on galaxy s7 ???

you need root to enable it.
Please note the 2nd & 3rd line must be in small letters, coz the android is case sensitive, thanks @gutikuvc

Hello friend, used his Rom , and is actually very good. But not like the edge functions. They could be for choice in aroma. I'm waiting to solve the problem with lock app on smart manager . As I release the multi user option in stock rom ? I had the same problem with app lock making only the changes in CSC . It is possible to activate but then if you click to disable it locks the settings. Thank you for help and congratulations on your great work in super man rom !!

I have successfully added the ability to add users on Marshmallow, but setup wizard fails at the end and never successfully sets up user. Anyone have any success with this.

When i switch to guest user, system constantly says that IMS Service has stopped and i have to restart my phone !!

Worked on Note 5 running marshmallow
It worked on my note 5 running Android 6.0.1

Make sure there is no space. Delete the 177th empty command. Make sure the #Multi Users thing is the next in line. Save and reboot

Did you find a way around this? Freezing IMS Service 1.0 with Titanium backup is the only that have worked for me.

I'm having trouble with this as well, this a guide (that i cannot link as a new user) claims that it should be doable without rooting if you edit it via adb like this:
adb pull /system/build.prop
Edit build.prop with Notepad++ and add:
#Multi Users
fw.max_users=3
fw.show_multiuserui=1
adb push /system/build.prop
adb shell
cd system
chmod 644 build.prop

I've followed all the steps but I still can't find multi user support on my galaxy s7...
Is it root only nowadays?
