hello all....i'm new with android os and i bought a galaxy s2 few days back..when i went through reviews before purchase,i found 2.3.6 kinda solved the battery drainage problem....my device is using 2.3.3...so if anyone can plz tell me from where to download and how to install latest version of OS officially released by samsung in my S2 as easily as possible,it'll be of great help to me...thanks in advance.....

I have successfully updated my GT N7000 to android kitkat 4.4.2 cynogenmod. Its quite easy and simple to update to 4.4.2. You just have to get proper files. If u want to know how to update it to 4.4.2 ask me at my mail [email protected]. Cannot post images due to a new member. You can also easily update it to 4.4.2. Not responsible for any kind of damage.

This phone doesn't have the official update to 4.4.2 Kitkat.It's reall old so that's why Samsung won't make and Android 4.4.2 for S2.But you can look for custom 4.4.2)

I don't think so......we don't even have KitKat even jellybean 4.2.....so u shud wait for sm one to build a stock modded ROM......that may happen.....( ADVICE :buy a new phone)

I HAVE ANDROID LOLIPOP 5.0 ROM BY VVAIBHAVV SO I WAS UST WONDERING IF HE OR SOME OTHER DEVELOPER WOULD DEVELOP A ROM WITH ANDROID M 6.0 IN THE FUTURE:d
That is a stock modded rom...not 5.0 its actually 4.1.2
I just made a android 6.0.1 rom for our galaxy core GT-i8262

Because it is considered obsolete. Anyway, we've had jellybean, kitkat, and ics too, I think. That's 3 different versions.

hello guys.. im from tanzania, south africa.. i got galaxy s2 plus gt i1905 android v4.1.2 and i have rooted it.. but now i want to flash custom roms but when i go to any custom rom thread.. it says, u have to be on android version 4.2 to flash any custom rom?? and i gues in my counrty 4.2 is not out.. is der any other way to upgrade my phone to lollipop...??
