3.MOVE THE FILE TO /SYSTEM/PRIV-APP AND OVERWRITE EXISTING FILE.
4. VERY IMP: DELETE "LGSystemUI.odex".

Careful this did not work for me (on D802) and I didn't back up the odex file as I thought it would be easy to remake from the LGSystemUI.apk. It's not. I have to go look for a solution, just remember to make a backup of all the files. The LGSystemUI.apk kept force closing on boot until I had to restore my backed up one using TWRP, but now it seems my LGSystemUI.apk isnt installed as the odex file was missing. My own stupidity just once again a warning backup everything and don't get your hopes up that it will work. Safer to probably use xposed

3Minit Rom Updater v1.0 Beta
Now with thanks to the Guys from AROMA Installer I have been able to put this updater pakage together.
So imagin you just found out you ROM developer has just released the latest version of you favorite rom but your misis is just getting ready because you told her you would take her out. And the download alone will take an hour or 2:crying:
Well now you can. This package works like OTA updates in that it only update files that are needed.So now the update has gone from 700+ MB to 80+ MB. Well problem solved now you can download and be updating before she has finished doing her hair
Devs: You can use this to quickly update you rom to a completely new version say 4.1 > 4.2. Just configure copy updated files into package. End user can even choose any new mods and they can use to change the rom setup. Like a change of modem or kernel. With this pakage they can even choose then Model number eg: I9300 or I9300T could be anything.

Can be used to change rom setup

The package posted is for 3Minit Roms v4.1 only but the package can be adapted by devs to be used with there rom. Hope that makes sense. Maybe send a post to you rom developer asking them to "Adapt it".

No mate 5.0 is major release. Its a change of firmware so everything gets re-flashed. Head over here for latest version. I have been busy as got heaps coming. There will be an update package soon with all the latest fixes and mods. I will send you a link for testing soon.

I read a recent post by a fellow member asking about the SemcSuite for a working version on JellyBean. So I thought I would make an update zip and share it here.
This is the GingerBread SemcSuite in a flashable zip working on JellyBean 4.1.2
I have only tested on Project JellyZues, as that was the Rom I was using when I put this together. So if for some reason on some JellyBean rom this does not work for you, I am sorry. It may also work on ICS because I used the same files on Hybrid Rom.
One thing you should know, I would remove the following file with root explorer:
libsemcwave_jni.so
This file cause's lots of lag after opening the SemcSuite, it can be found in / system / lib / libsemcwave_jni.so
Should you chose to remove After flashing, a simple reboot will remove any lag !
Please Note, when sliding open the game pad, the Semcsuite does not launch... I never did fix that myself..
This is the SemcSuite from a R800AT , If you want the SemcSuite from an R800i simply replace it in the (.zip) file after downloading it!

I had only those files originally and it did not work on JellyZues.. which is why I started adding more files, until it did work.

I tried flashing by TWRP.. Installs fine.. but doesn't show up in Installed Programs or my List of Programs.

I had only tested on the Project JellyZues Rom , the R800i semcsuite.apk can be taken from any GB rom that has it (the only difference is that the R800at games launcher had a dark blue themed menu at the bottom)
If it isn't showing up, then some more work would have to be done (files added / or replaced with different variations) The games launcher requires more then what people think, especially for roms that arent sony based.
I do have to say that I probably won't flash any AOKP roms, so you will have to mess around with some system files for this to work on an AOKP (if it will at all) I am sorry. But I can help with questions if you give it a shot!

I tried this on PACman and got " Android is Upgrading", "Optimizing application 1 of xxx" bootloop - i mean it ends optimising, but than after few seconds with lockscreen phone reboots and again "Android..." with less number of apps. I thought that after 10 or more reboots it would end this "optimising", but give up it after 6 reboots

Hey guys, this tool sounds pretty awesome. Just so I get this right: I need to download a stock ROM for my variant and use the Debloater tool to remove the undesired pre-loaded crapware?

U need to download a stock rom (not a firmware)..be it odexed or deodexed and place it in original folder and from there as it says..pre loaded crap ftw

This is actually a very significant tool.. With there being so many developers with all arays of style and tastes; this is perfect for anyone who wants to just make any ROM their won. Yeah, I would like to know too.
I'm going to assume it would remove the "red flag" parts of the ROM that would trigger the counter. Hence making the desired ROM flashable without technically voiding your warranty to the naked eye.

exactly, it removes knox from within the rom so if there was a way to flash a custom recovery without tripping the counter then you would be successfully rooted and running a custom rom without tripping the counter.
this tool is in VERY early stages, and as i go on i find more and more parts of knox throughout the rom, bridge.apk is part of knox, mss.apk is and theres all little chunks throughout the whole system... this tool removes MOST(he used some of my code here) but not completely!
So it's not 100% knox safe?, and when you say if there was a way... meaning there isn't? XD
Also there is other bloat to be added and I too have found some knox related apks(main ones are deleted..) and ricky I also told u some knox for ur kitchen
I plan to add more bloat apks to the tool (soon)

Most work on 442, no root needed. The odd/utilities are from cm4.3.
Some do not work on 442 but I thought some on 44 or 422 could use them.

Unrooted users: If you have a version in system/app then there is no point. You can only install the apps that are unique.
Rooted & wp off: You can paste away to system/app & set permissions rw-r--r--. Be sure to rename your original to ...apk.or or the like. Some may be odexed & I could up those files too.
For the odex files go to dev section & find odexed ROMs then use explorer to extract them. There are not many odexed ROMs.
A reboot is needed to install.

I cant seem to find a .odex file for the OmniSwitch v1.0.apk.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Couldn't find a odexed OmniRom. Guess I will have to wait for one or have the non root one not break on closing an app.
I'm confused what this is. I see you say no root in the title but unsure if you need to be unlocked or something. Like the theme chooser apk, I would think you'd need root for that. Sorry if I'm missing something obvious.

I am just sharing what I found. A lot need no root. Some do. I am not much into themes. Everyone is on their own. I am unrooted & the ones that, at least installed, I have put in a leading character of some kind (but the op apps are a mix). Of such I am trying those out. May report back. Others too can post their results.
The 2 with links work fine w/o root too.
If it will not install then it may work if pasted by rooters!
Two root apps one from PAC & the other from AKOP in post 4.

So this mod will enable new animations when you swipe to unlock your screen.
The above link will show you how to mod the apk yourself, But if you look at post 6 there is this link for a modified apk made for sw version .10i for D855.
This apk does work on our phones, it's not perfect though, it won't let you choose a stock image for the background, but you can choose from your gallery.
I haven't had time to modify our apk yet, but when I do get time I'll post it.

still crashes when picking a stock wallpaper... no idea why
If you use the D855 apk you just need to backup the original apk, replace it with the one you just downloaded, set the permissions to rw-r-r-- remove the odex file if there is one and reboot. Don't lock your screen until you reboot as this could cause issues.

What exactly does this enable? Are you suppose to do any other steps besides installing apk? Btw noticed you have a verizon version, just making sure you posted in the correct forum

It enables all the lockscreen weather animations. In actuality it started with T-Mobile version, then the got it working on Verizon and it works on At&T as well.

Thanks, I guess for it to work lockscreen weather animations should be enabled? Also, gps needs to be on?

my GPS is off, I have it set to cell location only to save on battery life.
I set up a tasker option to turn GPS on/off only when I have maps open
Enabling all lock screen effects
That mod enables all the effects when you swipe the lock screen, it's not the weather effects.

As I mentioned to you before. First I had one set of lockscreen effects and after flashing a tot, dll I downloaded I had a different set. Are there stock roms floating around with different system apks??? Got all the effects working, will hit the thanks button.
BTW, weather animations do not work on all effects. I wouldn't expect them to work on ocean. I can live with it Just saying.
I don't know if the stock roms have different stuff but judging by your experience it sounds like it does.
I do think it's odd the weather effects don't work if you choose certain swipe effects.

Has anyone had any luck downloading this? I've tried many times over several weeks and it never will work. Why doesn't the author delete the post if he doesn't intend to maintain this? It's very frustrating.
The dropbox link has no file. Does not work 404 error. Please fix. Also does not work on skydragons 6.0.2 android 5.1.1 just force closes.
