Are there any workarounds? I tried the two xposed modules but they don't seem to work.

I understand that the internal sd card mounts here:
mnt/emmc
but the problem is i cant get something things to work i believe because of it.
eg... i cant take a picture with the camera because it finds that there is no storage.
i cant get Titanium backup to work. I understand i can change the backup location, but when i go to do so, the app force closes on me.
any ideas on what i can do?
Regards,
I've never been able to get Titanium Backup to "see" the internal SD card (emmc), so I just set it to backup to my external, real SD card.
yes but i cant even get to that point, because it FCs as soon as i want to change backup location

Try moving your Titanium folder over to the corect path. In other words put the folder back in the path mnt/sd and out of mnt/emmc/. It will go to the phones external partition instead of the actual external sd card that you put in.
Then put your settings in titanium back to the way they were origanally
Whenever I do a batch restore on Titanium Backup, the apps do not show up. It says that the restore is complete, but no apps.
Am I doing it wrong?

Yep. Galaxy Note, Ultimate ROM 5.3, Titanium Backup Premium.
Every reboot I lost all apps moved to SD card.
But only apps moved with TB, not with system Applications Manager. These are fine.
Dunno why.
I formatted ext sd card, twice. But nothing changed.
when i go try and reinstall a app after unstalling it TB i get out of memory error and i have 9gb free
What version of Android are you using and what ROM? What app, or is it any app?

I had that same problem. I ended up doing a tibu, then reboot into recovery. Did a backup there, just in case, then I formatted. Not wipe, format. I also removed my ext sd card to make sure that my backups were safe. After I formatted, I inserted the sd card, installed my rom, cleared caches, gapps, cleared caches, kernel, cleared caches, fixed permissions, cleared caches, then reboot system. I have been fine since.
Try that.

You wouldn't happen to have lucky patcher installed? Installing and using that on your app will cause this problem if you uninstall the app in question.

Use a root file explorer to find the apk or any file that was left over from uninstalling then delete it.
alright ill try and find it again and see what it does. thanks
yeah i remove the other data i think last night. with root explorer and then i think i fixed it and reinstalled it was lucky patcher file that was still in in the data i didnt remove
I rooted with weaksauce and then tried to remove the Verizon bloatware with "no bloat" and a couple of other apps like it. They say the apps uninstalled but then they just get downloaded again.
What did you do to remove or freeze the crapware after root?

How did you get Titanium to write to the card? I keep getting "folder is not writable" when I try to select a backup folder.
Beamed from the holodeck of my Nexus 7 FHD.

Titanium Backup is the first app I downloaded after I rooted and I have had zero problems with it so I'm not sure what the issue is? I am just using the default storage location, have u tried to switch the location or has it just given you problems from the first install?
my backup directory is: /storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup
That's what he is saying. .. TB works fine if you use default location (internal storage), but won't write to external sd card as the folder location.

My bad! Not sure then... I know that with our root method that we can only write to certain directories but I don't have a need to change mine as of now so I have not tried but I will report back.
I just froze/disabled everything for now. It does the job.
Are we not able to write to system yet?

Thanks, that worked perfectly. With 32g internally, that's plenty of room to use for Titanium (and spare the space on the external sdcard).
