[Q] Which files are the Gpu driver libs? - Sony Xperia L

OK guys i really hope someone can help me on this question but this advanced developer stuff, here it goes:
As you probably know, an android rom has to incorporate inumerous library files for the android system to work with the phone.
Our phone has a great cpu chip, 1.2 dual core (underclocked by sony to 1.0) with an Adreno 305.
Now i would like to know if someone can help me update our gpu driver files since we have an old version on our stock softwares and
unfortunely, not everyone has an unlockable bootloader and a cyanogenmod.
I'm currently using stock rom (with stock kernel) version 15.3.A.1.14 and using the antutu benchmark app I discovered that my gpu
driver files are version [email protected]
Im thinking about updating to 15.3.A.1.17 to see if there are better driver files there.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that better driver files may affect performance in a positive way.
If someone know, in the system files, wich ones are responsible for the gpu please contact me or answer here in the thread. Also can i download the drivers directly from adreno or do they have to be adapted to sony's software?
Sorry for my rusty english XD
(Thanks in advance)

Greetz & Thankz,
Lennb
I'm surprised that not a single person has a link or answer. I wouldn't know where to get the CPU driver, but from everything I have heard our boot loader is locked. I know it plays a huge part in modifying the kernel, and with that being said. I have a d2g for testing purposes "once it arrives." I can't offer you success but I can try to be of some help.
It should be possible to extract the cpu driver from the kernel, we are able to inject modules to the driver after all.
Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using XDA App
We (Archos) dont need a Custom Recovery Because, we've built-in SDE
Thanks for your answers
Could anyone extract them from the Kernel? Or did somehody this already?

I have been wanting this as well but so far I have yet to see someone port or try to port a ROM for the A13 using the KitKat rom. I have many A13 tabs and I have some custom ROMs I created myself but none entail the makes of the KitKat ROM. To be honest I am not even sure it can be done other then a stock ROM modified to replicate the KitKat ROM meaning it is per say JellyBean 4.2 but the prop is edited to say KitKat and the theme to look like KitKat the added features etc.

Light MODing like editing build.prop start up sound and things like that is easy you can even change your start up/splash images and even APK's adding and removing with simple tools you can find on the net just do a search for how to edit your stock ROM or any ROM for that matter even here you might find all the tools you need.
I create all my ROMs using Ubuntu 12.04.3 desktop AMD64 and Source for JB 4.2.2 or a donor ROM which is similar to the stock ROM of the device the user may own. As for explaining step by step I am sorry but you will need to do the leg work for that as it is not easy to explain and you will need a general knowledge of what you are doing and at some points advanced knowledge. As for flashing the boot.img from KitKat to JB 4.2.2 will not work.Things that would/could be added if compatible to your donor ROM are Drivers, Sounds, Images, APKs, System Apps, Etc...
So the point is here that you can add images and splash screen and boot up images that come from KitKat and even add the apps if compatible with JB 4.2.2 and tweaks of your own that are made to boot with the system or not anything else would need to be ported and as mentioned I have yet to see a ported KitKat version for the A13. You can also edit your SystemUi.apk to make changes but this is another avenue make sure you understand and know what you are doing when doing so and always make backups!
Some Tools
=========
System Type is up to you!
ADB Tools is a (MUST)
DragonFace
LiveSuite
APK Tool
Bootimage Tools
slidepad704ce-jb-kitchen
Script-Bin Tools
Uberizer
This is just some of the things you can use some are for Windows other I use on Ubuntu.

[Completed] [Q] TwinTAB T73GQ1 CPU (and GPU) overclock

General specs:
google "TwinTAB T73GQ1 specifications"
on the site and also on the retail box, the clock speed is @ 1.5 GHz
but Hardware Info reports:
Twin TAB T73GQ1
Android version 4.2.2
Kernel version - 3.4.5
MKT 8389, Quad core arm V7 processor max freq 1.2 GHz (cpu-z reports same max clock speed)
Gpu - POWER VR SGX 544 MP (this also mismatches with "Neon 3D" which is on the site in the GPU field; in specifications section)
See the issue yet? 1.2 GHz and 1.5 GHz has considerable effects in performance (in my opinion). That is the reason why i want to overclock my device to at least 1.5 GHz . . . . at least. I've rooted my phone, did some few noob level kernel tweaks( i still consider myself a noob ). I know that i need to flash a custom, open source kernel, to actually enable OC . . . . . . and that's where i need some help ,I don't know which kernel to flash. I am also aware of the CyanogenMod ; but guess what, my device is not on the supported list. I didn't take the risk to "install it anyway" or manually .
please help? :fingers-crossed:
Thanks!
excuse me if I sound weird or inappropriate by any means .. I'm new here in XDA and did't acheive a good grade in o'level English.
Hi,
I believe you created a Visitor question on this earlier? Either way, I can not find anything relevant on XDA for your device. Chances are the only way you'll see any development for this device is if you learn to develop yourself unfortunately.
You can ask here if anyone knows of anything at all,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
And if Google search has nothing on this, then it likely means there's nothing. That's the pitfalls of more obscure devices unfortunately.
Good luck!
---------- Post added at 01:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:06 PM ----------
Oh... And never install anything not made for your exact device, or you'll likely destroy it.
The answer to the visitor question seemed inadequate at first . . . hoped to find more as an xda member;and i did
Thanks Darth

I am not a Developer so i dont know about how to create TWRP and custom rom.
please make any MIUI 8 ported Rom and TWRP recovery for my device.
sorry for my English.
I need same for my kult beyound please somebody step up
Requesting the members to develope roms and recovery for my device
Greetings to one and all present here.Kindly develop some recoveries and roms for my device, ie kult beyond
This is sad.Looks like we made a huge mistake by taking this phone and look how lazy xda members are, they can't even a create a custom recovery for a phoneand they call themselves developers
Don't know about xda but we definitely had done wrong by purchasing it. Total bull****. I even got to know that this device won't get any more update for oreo. We will get stuck on 7.0 only
I also have the same phone.Have been using it for the past 10 months. It is a nice phone but It has some software-based bugs which I feel Developers here can fix -
1) Phone going to silent mode randomly
2) I have to switch on and off Airplane mode to make
Outgoing calls work
3) RAM Management is quite poor.Always above 2GB used,so it requires Optimization
4) Battery,even if it says 3000MaH,It acts like a 1000MaH.Lasts about 4 hours of screen-on time.Again,Down to Optimization I think.
I have contacted kULt about this but no fixes seem to be coming...They seem to completely ignore old Products and focussed on Marketing and new budget offerings.

Adreno gpu driver update for Xz?? (V313)

Hey GPU Driver Update available? Or is it possible? I just installed the Adreno GPU driver for xıomic on my device and the camera wasn't working, but the performance was great. :highfive:
I tried it as well but somehow these drivers mess up with DRM functionality. DRM isn't working after driver update. Maybe some devs know workaround for this. Maybe mastermind developers @Pandemic or @niaboc79 could share some insight on this.
Why install other drivers on another device ? Weird
Why?

I did not find the driver for the xz I searched for the driver for sd820 and found a match on Xiaomi's site Can you share the link if you have the driver for XZ?

In theory they should work for all SD820 SoC's as author says. Don't you have any clue why drivers conflicting with DRM? No image enhancement and camera isn't working.
