I am using Sony Xperia M2 since last 2 months of purchase and constantly i'm facing software problems like "No outgoing voice while on a call". This problem was certainly solved by software update visiting the sony service center but again a new problem has occur which is again related to call i.e while on call the receiving voice is too slow motion. This makes it too difficult to interact on calls. please help
Did you activate "Slow Talk" under call settings by mistake?

I am having the same issue as you mentioned
The voice is like slow motion when a call is made using my sony Xperia M2. This problem i had before which was cleared by a software update as you stated but after a month, it is again occuring.
Note : I have unchecked the option Slow Talk which is under Call Settings but the problem still persist.
Sony must deal with this problem as soon as possible. It is really annoying

While on a call, a incoming call renders all audio on both calls dead. Regardless if you answer, ignore or let go to VM, neither person can no longer hear any audio.
I have tried this in many different scenarios. I am using T-Mobile in the NYC area.
If anyone else is experiencing this, please respond.
UPDATE!!!!!
The "Viber" app I installed was the cause of the problem. Once I uninstalled it immediately fixed the problem.

Hi, I have the exact same problem. It is quite frustrating.
The only work around I have found so far is to go in to call settings -->additional settings and turn off call waiting. Which is also kind of annoying.
Does anyone have a more elegant solution? (like having the incoming call sound a beep instead of taking over my entire call and rendering the phone useless!)

I have been using the Xperia custom ROM for quite some time now. I am very happy with the ROM overall but I have a big issue which I had with the original Xperia port as well. I am in UK. I don't get calls from unknown numbers. If I dial from mobile it comes fine. But if I dial from any landline where the number is blocked/private ( I used my office landline ), it doesn't even appear on my Nexus. But I can hear a very small ring on the landline I am dialing from and than it disconnects. On my Nexus S I don't even see a missed call, although it says - Data traffic disabled every time. And if the screen is turned on when I am calling on Nexus S if give the following error on screen- Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped. When I click OK, it just says Data traffic is disabled .
It might be a ROM specific issue but if someone else has faced the issue and know the resolution please let me know.

I've recently purchased YU5010A (Stock Android, not CM). there is no sound from earpiece when making WhatsApp call! the earpiece works fine on normal calls, but not in WhatsApp calls. am I the only one to have this issue? should I ask for a replacement?

I'm also facing the same issue. If you have found a solution please post here. I will do so. When I spoke to service center they said they can do replacement if you are returning within 7 days from the date of purchase otherwise they will flash ROM again. The only other solution is to root the phone and de-activate the dedicated voip feature in the build prop

I have recently got the Sony SmartWatch 3 and have an issue when voice activating a call. When I say "ok Google, Call....." it tries to call via Skype on my phone. How do I change this so that my phone is the default? Would help while connected In my car u see. Thanks in advance for any help guys

I’m using Samsung SM-G920FD already 2 years abt. running updated Android 7.0.
Got a following problem, Whenever I’m intended to make an outgoing call trying to call a friend of mine, my phone refuses to do so. It starts the process of call but freeze on stage of dialing picture mode and no beep tone or nothing is going on afterwards, as If I or the subscriber is offline. Although, the network signal level is at high and no any indications of malfunctions by phone are being shown.
Thus, the only fix solution I found I immediately restart my phone and only then can make/receive calls.
What could be the reason of such behavior and how to fix this annoying problem.
