[Q] Can we get App2sd working? - Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE

Hey Guys,
i suffer from the fact that link2sd and app2sd do not work on my photon q. is there a way to get them to work? i searched on google and the forums but couldnt find anything to this topic. every help is appreciated. thanks

Link2sd works perfectly fine on my Photon Q.
I have stock ROM (4.1.2 from sprint) installed.
You need a second primary partition on your SD card for Link2sd to work.
This is documented on the Link2sd web page.

Acer e110 app2sd help please...

Hi,my father bought an acer e110 with android cupcacke. As you maybe know there are no coocked roms for this device (only one to be correct but in russian and with some bugs).I ve rooted the phone without installing any rom,I used only universalandroot, and it s working good because it give me the response after the installation and i can use bluetooth to transfer and receive files with bluex or other programs. Now i would like to install application to the sd card, because of the very little space in the phone memory. Can I use app2sd or any other programs to install apps to the sd without a custom rom?
Sorry if my question sound stupid, but i ve searched in the forum and in google, but the answer was ever: install a custom rom with app2sd and other things i can t remember
No one with the same problem? This phone look s like is the only one unsupported by comunity...Only in someone like to mod this phone
Any success? I'm searching for the same thing for a friend
Acer E110 Touch APS2SD
hey my friend bought the same phone, use link2sd it is a free application on the market, you need to have a 2nd partition fat or ext3 I would suggest a fat partition because you can modify and check your 2nd partition with your windows machine. good luck moving apps to fat32.

[Resolved] [Q] apps not installing onto a2sd

Hi, i've recently installed the Oxygen V2 RC7 rom onto my HTC Desire. I've installed the Rom Manager app and have used that to create a partition to allow for apps to install onto my sd card.
However when I install apps, it appears that it still stores onto my internal memory. At the moment when I go into Titanium Backup it states that my internal memory only has 64.2mb free (down from 154mb) and SD card (a2sd) has 452mb free (down from 480mb).
I've tried googling but I can't seem to find any solutions. I've also tried reflashing the rom again but nothing changed.
If someone could point me in the right direction and to what I may have done wrong, or if i've missed something, it would be highly appreciated! a2sd was one of the main reasons I rooted, so it's a bummer it's not working atm!
Thanks in advance!
[RESOLVED] Found out the reason. Dalvik cache wasn't moved.
anyone? any help would be highly appreciated!
i have the same problem. i've 2gb ext3 partition and also installed leedroid a2sd version rom. but when i installed just a few applications, my phone's free memory space decreased to 100mb. and i couldn't understand this solution can anybody help me please ?

Heyy Everyone,
I am running CM9 ROM on my HTC Chacha,is there any solution for low internal memory? Can i install apps directly to Extsd instead of Internal memory, please anyone help me..it's really Annoying
Wrong section. This is a question for General. And yes, there is. You can also find solutions in the CM9 thread (I wrote one of them).
Where is that tutorial and does it apply to HTC Chacha?

It's not a tutorial, but basically amounts to install Link2SD.
I myself use D2EXT from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716124
It works nicely. But don't delete dalvik cache with it installed as you will get bootloops. It's not hard to fix, though, but you will need a computer and adb installed. So just don't delete the dalvik cache and you will be fine.
To install it, you will need to partition your SD card and create an ext4 partition. You will lose everything on your SD, so make a backup first.
Use the guide on the link I posted . You will need a fast SD card.
And next time use the general forum.
Good luck.
http://www.link2sd.info/faq should answer your doubts. Its the bestest way out there.

[Completed] How data2ext works?

I have downloaded a rom for lg p500 optimus one, in the description it says that it has data2ext feature, but i don't know how it works, and how it expand the space for my phone, since it has only 198mb of internal, all i want to know is that can the apps be fully moved to partition using data2ext(I mean everything moved), and bit still confused if you press move to sdcard is selected in "manage app" does it automatically moved it to partition?
DO I need link2sd to use the data2ext feature of the rom?

How to (basic) guide for flashing roms etc

Hi there,
I am running a stock lg g pro 2 d838, and am constantly battling with the onboard storage. Ive got a 128gb memory card, but some apps just cant be moved.
I was wondering if someone were able to provide me with a step by step guide (I dont have any knowledge or experience with this) for the easiest way to be able to use my phones sd card for all apps etc.
Everytime I look at rooting, custom roms guide they appear to be written for those that already know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, why would you want to move all apps to sd card? I am not sure if you can do that.
You properly need root to be able to do it, so you have to root your phone first.
I think you need app on play store to move apps to sd card, you can search for it. I don't have a name of the app but I know there is app for that, it might need need as I said.
