[Completed] Problem related with Samsung Galaxy Ace - XDA Assist

Hi All,
sorry for primative question:
I've a Samsung Galaxy Ace (GT-S5830) with onboard Clockworkmod and Cyanogenmod 7.2 .
In these days I'm trying to install Android version 2.3.6 with Odin, but unsuccessfully.
I've tried to:
- Reinstall the Samsung's drivers
- all types of wipe cache from clockworkmod
- restore the factory settings
- Reinstall Cyanogenmod from Clockworkmod
Please note that Odin when I'm trying to flash the phone with the Android 2.3.6 version is still waiting with the message "setup connection"...
Onestly, I don't know how to proceed.
Someone have an idea to solve this issue?
(I'm in the office at work, this evening I will give you more details)
Thank you very much in advance
Riccardo

[Completed] [Q] Failed to mount E:/system ...ect... After ODIN-ing stock rom.

Hi, i'm desperate for help... I've been trying to unbrick/unroot my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone, and I think I have managed to revert it back to the stock rom through ODIN. However, I cant start it up and it keeps going to the recovery and saying: FAILED TO MOUNT E:/System and things. I don't know where to go after this... Can anyone help?
In order to assist you a bit more information is needed. What Carrier ? What Recovery ? What version of Android ?
I think it is stock recovery, 4.4.2 (Havn't been able to get past the recovery), and verizon. Thanks for helping me.
I would suggest that you post up in the first thread linked below. As the members there have your specific device, and will be better able to assist you. Also you may want to review the second link.

[Completed] [Q] Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 stuck in bootloop

Hey there. I'm having real trouble in finding the right solution for this Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 bootloop. Here bootloop means when I start the mobile it just gets stuck on SAMSUNG,and not going any further. Now,about the mobile,it isn't rooted. I actually think that wiping data or flashing stock rom (which I beleive is original firmware of the phone, correct me if I'm wrong) will solve my problem. But the main thing is just that I don't wanna loose my data at all be it picture, videos, contacts, diary, etc. So that is why I'm reluctant to try flashing stock rom on my phone. I tried using adb commands to pull files but no use
Now kindly answer my 2 questions :-
1) Does flashing to stock rom will lead to data loss?
2) Can I backup everything in this bootloop state?
If you have the solution to my data problem then that would be really appreciated.
Kindly get me outta this trouble,I'm really exhausted in finding solution :/
Hoping for a real good solution Thanks in advance

Hi,
I will first link you to your device section. You should read the top threads in the general and Q&A sections. Read any guides or info threads you find. You seem to be very unfamiliar with this stuff. Knowledge is power doing this stuff.... And misunderstanding can lead to very bad problems.

And to ask for help with your issue, or any other questions you eventually have, here is where to ask,
