I get an error with installing the GApps provided by PA. I've tried every single type provided but it kept saying that I had insufficient space. As a result, I formatted my sd card0 which fixed the problem. However, now I cannot access my phone's internal storage which is needed by swiftkey. I was wondering if there was a fix for this? I've been googling all last night and I couldn't find anything specific except using ODIN to reflash the original android software. Thanks.
You need to post your Query in Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting Since this is specific to a Rom, you may as well post in the Rom's thread.
You'd need to clean flash the Rom or Flash back to stock to regain lost partition size.
fix
For other people who are experiencing the same problem, I fixed it by re-flashing back to stock using ODIN. It took a while but everything is back to normal.

Hi,
I've been following the forum for a while and have rooted / ROM'd several devices and never had any serious issues, until now:crying:.
I've been running james's rom (Resurrection Remix) on a Samsung N8010, this has been fine and worked perfect for months.
All of a sudden for no apparent reason the tablet has decided to not boot fully and gets stuck at the Samsung 10.1 screen.
I've tried flashing several different roms / restoring to factory / wiping data partitions etc with no luck.
Flashing anything other than the current rom seems to fail as it can't mount the internalSD in order to flash to it.
It appears that somehow the internal memory has screwed itself and is now unable to mount /dev/block/mmcblk1p1.
I've tried to view the logs but it seems as the internal is messed up this errors with similar results.
Trying to browse the internal sd through CWM just crashes CWM.
I can still boot into both odin and CWM with no problems but seem stuck in cwm as i'm unable to flash / return to stock via ODIN. Potentially i was thinking i could flash to stock via odin with the 3 file method to sort the partitions out, but it seems practically impossible to find any of these files anywhere!
These are the errors i seem to get are:
Skipping execution of extendedcommand , file not found
Cant partition non-vfat: datamedia
Can't partition unsafe device: dev/block/mmcblk1p1
Can't format unknown volume: /mmc
Your assistance on the matter would be greatly appretiated!
Thanks in advance,
Ash.

Had this on a older device. Go back to the oldest version of factory rom you can find. Now to note so i can only recommend Sam mobile to find one.sounds liks as you said partition are corrupt. Going back to okd os version will redo partitions Is my thinking . I did this on my Acer a500 with issues as you describe I n ics .I went bach to honeycomb. It is a different file part arrangement.
Good luck and please double check and verify my thinking. Do not want you to brick over my advise

Worked perfect thanks! Wiped and flashed via odin back to 4.0 and then re-flashedback to 4.2.2 now no more problems:laugh:
Apologize if I am posting in the wrong spot, but I have pretty much defined insanity by trying the same over and over and expecting a different result. I have accepted that I can't get it to work, but I am hoping someone can shed some light... and yes I have scoured XDA and the entire net for a solution. Here is my situation:
Received a replacement d2vzw with 4.1.2 because I bricked mine trying to downgrade from 4.3 - in the early days of release before it was known this was a very bad idea.
I am able to root and install custom recovery just fine, but TWRP and CWM cannot see/mount internal or external storage. Philz can see the storage but any attempt to apply a custom ROM fails and increments the binary counter.
I have tried editing the ROM script file to remove the model check but it still fails.
It seems that others have had the mounting problems per http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391616, but these are for Sprint and do not work for d2vzw.
From what I can tell it appears Sammy and/or Vzw made an undocumented change in the newer S3's that added additional security to prevent flashing custom ROM's. My question is has anyone been able to solve this for the d2vzw?
Thanks in advance.
Solved
So thanks to the post by ohlin5 here, many hours of frustration have been solved.
Again, my issues were that I could not mount internal or SD storage after apparently successfully achieving root and unlocking via CASUAL. Neither TWRP or CwM would work. Philz would mount the storage, but anything other than stock ROM would not install and would increment the binary counter. Based on other posts I was under the impression that there had been a hardware change (this is a newer S3), that was causing this behavior. However, it occurred to me that the bootloader was not actually fully unlocked (even tho it appeared that way and recovery was able to be installed). Per the posting above, it was suggested to run EZ-Unlock and then install recovery and this WORKED! I am not sure what the issue is and why CASUAL is not working in some cases, but I can confirm the behavior and fix.
Hopefully ohlin5's post can save some others the time/hassle as it seems many have the same problem.
Help needed with: Stock rom "FORCE CLOSE" also unable to install any other rom
Heya all, I'm new to the forums.
I've got an issue (or several) with my GALAXY S I9000. It was semi-bricked and I was able to (SORT OF) resurrect it.
The semi-brick consisted of constantly deploying Samsung logo. So I downloaded odin and found (many) stock roms with different androids: froyo 2.2, gngerbread 2.3, etc.
Any android I installed, right when there's the welcome steps such as configure accounts, wi-fi, etc. I started to get stormed with "FORCE CLOSE" windows to every application going (mostly GAPPS, but it's relative assuming most of the apps in these devices are google apps). This delayed the cellphone's speed terribly, oftenly rebooting and eventually allowing me to reach the home desktop, obviously throwing forcecloses every 4-5 secs.
Towards this I installed a different CWM version with ODIN, and I was going to install another rom w/ different gapps. Then it said "E:/ NO SD CARD" blabla. So i gave the sdcard a format and now it doesnt say "No SD CARD" but every rom i try to install says "ERROR (STATE 0)"
Frustrated, I tried stock roms again, (2.3 and 2.2) and I downloaded specificly the 2.2 and 2.3 gapps, installed them with CWM lending a prayer and nope, it didnt work.
I obviously ran out of ideas by now, so I came here where everyone knows more than I do (which is no merit) I beg your help!
Maybe I flashed it with a wrong PIT, or the CSC is wrong, or the ROMS arent for this device i9000, i cant know for sure, even though i read every article i downloaded stuff from (just in case) and it looked like the right one. Anyway, don't guess I did anything right, because I must've missed something. (i am paranoic indeed)
Thank you very much!
P.S. My brother has the same i9000 and I installed the roms I downloaded for mine on his device and these workedp erfectly. (But he had CWM already installed so it must've been a problem with odin flash)
Hi there,
Best answers you will receive in the dedicated forum for this device, see bellow, but first you need to register an account on XDA for full access. Also, please read carefully this tutorials wich are very helpful to other members:

I have a problem with a Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300) which belongs to a friend.
He wanted Lollipop on the device so I flashed an Unofficial CM12 from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...od-12-t2936990
However he seemed to be experiencing some bugs with the ROM so he wanted to revert to stock ROM until more stable builds arrived.
I flashed the stock ROM 4.3 obtained from SamMobile but on this the SIM wasn't working. Same results were obtained by official 4.0 and 4.1.
I finally decided on the official CM11, grabbed the latest stable build and tried flashing it. But now the ClockworkMod recovery returned 'Status 7'. Repeating the process with device id verification removed gave 'Status 6'.
To get the device in working condition I had flashed Korean Service ROM by Samsung. This is working with the SIM card with a few bugs.
One other curious observation was while copying the CM11 to the internal memory. The copy window was dismissed before the green copy bar reached the end. I had to flash it with an external SD Card which seemed to have normal copy process.
This entire process has been repeated on a different PC with all fresh downloaded ROMs but gave the same results as before with the only exception of SIM recognition but no signal on CM12.
Any help would be appreciated to get the device working normally.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I see you've asked your question here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/strange-problem-gt-i9300-t3094882 That is the best place to ask so I'm going to close this thread.
Good luck!
Hello!
I have the following problem and after countless searches over many forums I ended up finding no answer:
About 4-5 months ago my P5100 started to restart itself after 1 or 2 minutes of functioning properly (restarts even faster if i try to connect over Wi-Fi or install an app). I thought that if I leave it for a while everything will be ok, it wasn't the case so I started trying to fix it. Before I go on I mention that my P5100 was rooted , running CWM version 5.5 and CM10(10.1.3), i haven't messed with the rom, recovery, firmware etc. for more that one year and a half so it started all of a sudden. I tried everything starting from simply updating the CM version to ADB commands and finally flashing back to the stock firmware with Odin. The wipe data/factory reset didn't work neither in recovery nor commands, I even tried to delete everything via Internal Storage in my pc through USB. Every time it reverts itself to the point it was left before although everything seemed to work just fine no errors or so. It doesen't remember after reboot any setting I made or any app that i installed(if I manage to install one) it is like i didn't do anything at all to it. :crying:
Many thanks for taking your time to read my thread and maybe help me:laugh:
