I am considering upgrading from my old Nexus 4 to a S5. I like the black front but I like the white rear. Is it possible to buy a white rear replacement? If so, are they expensive?
Can you get wireless charging ability on this phone?

Yes, you can buy white rear. Never tried to buy any black rear.

I've seen a lot of T-mobile replacement phones with no battery covers. In the first place, how could you lose the battery cover?

This is more of a hardware question but I recently cracked the glass that covers the rear facing camera so I'm replacing the chassis inside. And I figured since I was popping it open anyway, does anyone know if there is anyway to get a Red colored replacement cover from the red Nexus 5 so I can sorta mod my white Nexus but with a red battery door? Do they even have that available?
Not seen anything yet but that's not to say they won't be available. There's a seller on eBay with the white/black covers so I'd assume they'll end up with the red ones

One thing to note is that you get the official battery cover so that it has the NFC and/or wireless charging receiver in it. Some sellers might have replicas but it might not have the chips built in.

is like original, this is exact very very nice finished you only have to swap the infrared button on the new one, and yes it comes with sel healing. AAA quality product.
Is there already a foto of a Silver Flex with a Red Backcover? Im afraid of the silver brezel :/
Actually I think the contrast would look good, in a two tone way.....

I believe it is. All the reviews on the iPhone 6 which is basically the same glass are positive. I think the aluminum might look cool but I'm in the same boat. I'm going to wait for some reviews and when the white version comes out

One of the reviews I watched mentioned that the taper of the crown where I case would meet is approximately .1 mm. I would imagine it depends on how much the case wraps around the front of the screen. The one that's on my phone right now actually doesn't even get to the glass.

I'd agree it will depend on the case and my current one a spigen neo hybrid over laps the glass I would say by about 1mm or possibly 2mm, still very tempted once the black version arrives.

They have the "Crown" for the iPhone 6, 6 Plus and Note 4 in Black & White. I believe that they should have the color process down pat by now.

And I believe you are also 100% correct.
So all this is really doing is using the "silver crown" to hide halos, right? It doesn't sound all that revolutionary, but I guess its one way to get rid of the halo problem.

Correct. Basically the same idea as the tempered glass screen protectors with colored borders. Both are just two different ways with dealing with the halo. The good thing about the crown is that it actually curves with the actual glass. Whereas the edge to edge tempered glass screen protectors have a small gap between the edges of the tempered glass and screen that tends to build up dust.

I bought one for my Note 4 and to be honest I was very dissapointed. After installing the glass and the crown piece (they are seperate) I still ended up with a very slight halo that can be seen all the way around the glass - it was small but you could see it when the screen is off.
The "Crown" piece isn't as smooth as you would hope and my finger catches on it - particuarly around the home button -(at the bottom of the phone)
The concept sounded good - but the execution was slightly off - I complained about it to Body Guardz and they sent me a new one - same thing happened.
I still have it on the note - but I would never buy it again and I won't be buying it for the S6 - but that is just me. Others may have different results.
