[Completed] Problem with XDA account - XDA Assist

whenever I'm logged in with my acc, and I post or even turn pages in a thread I am redirected to the xda main page. Sometimes the threads won't load but whenever I log out there are no issues.
Not sure if this is the right place but if somebody can help it would be great

Opening this post should automatically redirect you to another thread on the forum. If you are reading this note, it probably means that you are using a mobile app. Apparently, mobile apps have a problem with redirection and show this post instead. Use the link below to view the correct thread.

[Completed] [Q] How do I subscribe to a forum from a non-mobile browser??

I navigate to the forum (not a subforum) I want to "subscribe to" or "add as a favorite" (whatever it is called) but I cannot find anywhere on the main page of the forum (i.e., the page that typically lists XYZ DEVICE General, XYZ DEVICE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting, XYZ DEVICE General Development, etc.) where I can subscribeto that forum (or add as a favorite).
I notice that if you go to one of the above-referenced subforums that you have the option there to subscribe to it. But I want quick access to all of the subforums for one device, which is why that seems like a forum to me, not a subforum.
Also, in the premium mobile app, it has the sidebar which usually says "subscriptions" followed by a number. When selecting this, you are given a list of forums (and/or subforums) that you can quickly navigate to. This is what I am looking for. I have "subscribed" to them from the mobile app, but they are not showing up once I am at my laptop... it only shows on the right under "MESSAGES THREADS FORUMS" that I am subscribed to one subforum I subscribed to 3 years ago.
With the number of forums for devices growing to several hundred why is there not just a way to create a bookmark to go directly to the forum that you have already added as a subscribed forum/a favorite??? I swear I think every time I have come to this webpage I have to navigate down past 90 devices to find the forum I want (or I google XDA XYZ Device....which is a nice workaround).
There should be a way to bookmark a forum. I say "bookmark" because subscribing to a forum is actually confusing. You already have an option to subscribe to a thread and with that subscription, you can opt to receive email updates when there have been new comments to the thread. However, for a forum this is not practicable nor logical. I just need a way to jump to a forum quickly.
It seems like an easy breakdown: Forum (example HTC ONE (or VERIZON HTC ONE if it exists)) ==> Subforum (example: HTC ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting) ==> Thread (example: Help! I bricked my phone!!!).
Thread subscriptions don't have breadcrumbs in their title, but if you are going to subscribe to a thread, you probably will know what subforum and forum it is in based on its specificity.
Please note the mission of XDA is,
The mission of XDA Assist is to provide basic help to those who have tried searching but can't find what they are looking for and need assistance. This is not a "helpdesk" providing technical assistance but more to point you in the correct direction with your problem. Perhaps you can't find posts on how to root your phone, install custom recovery or maybe you have questions about how to navigate and use features on the site.

[Completed] [Q] How do i subscribe to the Z2 main forum?

noob question... i cant find the subscribe button (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2) , i can see it on xda assist page though :/ and also can i make my xda android app UNREAD homepage the Z2 forum? right now it shows new threads from all over xda in he UNREAD section.
You can subscribe Sub forums within a Device forum. But you can't subscribe the main forum.
Once that's done, on your favorite or Subscribed Page in the app, only that sub forum will appear.
Oh, ok, But, haven't you guys ever thought of subscribing to a main forum? Im sure you'd like to know the up and coming stuff for your own device atleast anyways thanks for the info
Thread Closed. Thank you.

[Completed] Android xda app q&a

I've changed my phone several times now since I've been a member of XDA and in my What's New {edit : latest, participated} in threads that I've commented on it's still updating lots of old topics that are no longer relevant to me, is there any way that I can remove all of the history from appearing on the app so that only new stuff appears there?
Thanks

Hi,
Simply.... No. Those are based on your account, not your device. That's why there's the subscribed threads section, so only threads you subscribe to are shown.

Cannot edit post on specific thread

Dear XDA Assist Team.
I am writing this post on behalf of user Patrick.H, since his english is not good:
He cannot edit only fkrst post of the thread he started (https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...eam-darklord-s7e-reborn-t3565866/post71248782) since yesterday. When he edits post and clicks to save button, a message pops out saying:
"502 Bad Gateway
Something happened and this page is not currently available.
You can reload this page in a moment to try again."
The weird part is he can edit all the posts on other thread he started (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/rom-magma-nx-rom-t3508672).
Is it a temporary issue or should he do something about it? Since those are first posts of thread they should be updated for users.
Thanks in advance
Ups sorry. I think it doesnt belong here but to q&a
