Unbranded 32Gb micro sd card

Anyone bought this 32 gb Micro Sd Card from ebay. I just got in the mail and so far so good my transfer rate from PC to SD a 360mb file is 4.60mbps while the regular sandisk 8gb is 6.20mps. Its cheap so wasn't surprise . Anyone else

class 10 will be the best

but anyways, 32gb, whatever class it is, for $29 isnt bad

class 4 is good enough for a mobile phone. If you just use it to store mp's/photo's.
Higher then class 4 is only interesting when filming/photographing on a high resolution and thus need a high read/write speed.
Anyway, $29 for 32 gig is a very nice price!!
Still... don't know why this in the dev. forum

I bought a SD card and a thumb drive. Both turned out to be fakes from China. The 32 GB thumb drive only held 14 GB of data and was flaky at that. The SD card was slow and was also unbranded. I would be very careful about what data you save to it. It might just go south on you.
Keep an eye on sales ads. I just got a 8GB class 10 micro SD at bestbuy for $19.99
**This is in the dev thread because it was a mistake on the OP part. He asked for it to be moved, but the MODs have not done so. I suggest sending them a PM bro. Might get a better response.

There are free programs, like h2testw, you can download to test the sd cards and usb drives. I purchased one a while ago that was supposedly a 32gb, and windows detected it as a 32gb. I tested it and it was really 1GB.

BE REALLY CAREFUL INDEED,
I bought exactly the same 2 weeks ago on Ebay, same packaging exactly, about same price.
It was a fake that was only 2Go, with a ridiculous transfer rate of 2.2Mo/sec with downs to 150ko/sec
So I bought another one 32Mo, branded, class4, more expensive of course! (I also think we don't really more than class 4 unless your're really impatient when transferring big files from your PC to your SD card. Class 4 is already enough for the Sensation HD recording, and having class 10 wouldn't speed up any app except for some benchmarks that take SD card write/read into account)

Check microcenter. I picked up a 16 gig class 10 today for $28+tax... Well worth the price.

I took a chance on one of these. The seller has 100% positive feedback and has sold a ton of them. So hopefully it works out. He also will fully refund my money if it doesn't work. So reward outweighs the risk.

What class is it?

It's class fake. Only hold 3GB. Now other people seem to be fine with theres. So maybe mine it deffective who knows . I was fully refunded though.

Got my memory card from Walmart. I got it for $10 with tax because there was a pricing mistake on their part
It was on the correct hook and UPC code matches the product. Regular price was $39.
SANDISK 16GB CLASS 4
It also came with MICRO SD to SD ADAPTER
I was debating getting a 32GB card but the 16GB is plenty for me for now.

Nice man that's a pretty good deal. I ordered my class 10 16gig patriot from newegg for something like 40 I think , l don't like to buy stuff like that in stores because its way over priced usually. Unless you're talking Fry's they frickin price match from store and online like newegg,Amazon and tigerdirect.

Locally the highest you can get is class 4 and 16GB. For now it will be good until 64GB cards come out. And all the other prices for lower.

Usually when they come with a SD Adapter, they are fake. I bought a Class 10 16GB PNY from amazon for $33.
My speeds with SD speed increase:
Write: 11.9 MB/s
Read: 18.8 MB/s

The 64GB cards are MICRO SD XC
The cards this phone supports are MICRO SDHC.
I love passing storage milestones, but don't get too excited, only a handful of devices currently have the architecture to support microSD cards bigger than 32GB, so make sure you have a compatible device before you empty your wallet. Don't have one? Don't sweat it, Your phone sucks. LOL

Why would you say this. I've bought at least 4 different cards that came w/adapters and they were not fakes in any way. I just got my new Sandisk 32GB SDHC yesterday and now I've got the room for my Music.

I'll stick with my 16 GB class 6

Was it an online order?

I have a 16gig A-Data class 6 that I bought from Newegg. It works perfect and I have no issues with it.
I've used A-Data since my G1 days and I've had no issues. Good and cheap card.

The truth is sdxc and sdhc have the same hardware and every thing else the only difference is the file system moving from fat32 to exfat which is an improvement of fat32 current used on all mobile devices and alot of limitations like only holding file of 4gbs
For all current devices all they need is a firmware update to work with sdxc but manufacturing company are introduction it like a new thing if u bought one and formatted it to ext4 or ext3 it would work on android or Linux
Or wait it exfat drivers are out for android
Just do some research and will see

Installing app bigger than SD

Hello there, I would like to know if it is possible to install an app which full size is bigger than your sd? In my case I want to install nova3 but my sd card is only 2gb(actually 1.8) and nova takes 2gb of space. Since the Atrix 2 installs directly to sd card is it impossibly for me to play it unless I buy a bigger sd card?
I tried to look this up but nothing showed up...

Yea going to need a bigger sd card..... Check out radio shack if you are in US they got a 32gb and add a one year warranty for a little over $20.00.....

I'm pretty sure Sandisks UHS I cards are their class 10 IIRC. And I couldn't get past the first page of the search, something strange with their site was going on.
I'd be wary of buying memory cards from obscure vendors anyways. Someone like Amazon would more than likely replace/refund your card if it turned out to be counterfeit, I doubt it would be anyways from them. And there is a ton of counterfeiting cards these days, the $16 64gb cards people from China are trying to unload on eBay were just that, the ones that actually got shipped.

Bought a 16gb sandisk usb stick for my xbox and thought $11 w free shipping was pretty cheap. I'm guessing that was on sale too.

This came out to little to late!

I snagged a 64g this morning....

Has anybody managed to format the 64 successfully without it turning into a 27 gb card. I returned mine to amazon for a new one and worry about formatting it again. My computer doesn't recognize this card and wants to format it.

Yes, you need to use this tool SDformatter can be found here: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_3/eula_windows/

I also just returned my 64 gb card to amazon after turning it into a 27 gb card!
I thought it was defective. The only way to get it back to full capacity was to format it on the stock rom. But the computer never liked it. And it would always recognize it as 27.

Will it show up as 64GB on a stock Rom with root?

It will be very limiting if we don't delete old videos,music and photos to add more.
I have 3gb left on my M8 16gb + 16gb sdcard and the available internal memory is about 10gb when I bought it, so total user memory 26gb, now it's 23gb on S6 for the 32gb
Well let's hope black market will bring the 64gb in my country then
