Have any solutions to let the camera (Movie mode) able to use Touch Focus?
It just Auto focus, but I would like to select the point by Touch Focus.:good:
I tried to install G3's stock camera, but it does't work.

I'm working on a project with stop motion, and I was wonderingif there is (or possibly can be) a setting for stop motion. what I'm looking for is the same function the panoramic mode does- which is have a superimposed image on the screen while viewing the camera image simultaneously.
i doubt this is currently an option but maybe a possibility?
Hi guys,
I'd like to underline a problem I have with some applications for camera, like Camera360, Camera Effects, Pudding Camera and so on.
Even if I set the display to not rotating (in other words, always landscape), those apps when taking a photo take it in portrait mode, and I have to rotate them manually with another program.
The strange thing is that while capturing the image is set in landscape mode (so I have the illusion that everything is working fine), but when saving the photo it is rotated by 90°, like it would have been taken in portrait.
Do you know how to solve this problem?
It is very uncomfortable to rotate manually every photo taken with those programs.
Hope you the best, thank you!
Marco
hello everyone. good day to all of you.
phone: samsung s+ i9001
ROM: CyanogenMod 10 by ivendor - Alpha 6
there's a problem i am facing that is quite troublesome.
forgive me if i could not explain this matter in a clearer manner but i'll try..
after taking the first picture, the picture taken will show (preview? and some apps do ask an option to save or discard it) and usually by clicking the 'back' button, the camera app will go back to its shooting mode to capture another picture.
problem with my camera apps is that after clicking 'back', it will not go back go its shooting mode! instead, it still shows the first picture taken and when i try to tap the screen to focus, it will not focus as the previous picture is still there.
camera apps that i've tried: Camera ZOOM FX, lgCamera, Camera FV-5, and. Pro HDR Camera.
only Fast Burst Camera able to go back to its shooting mode after the first taken picture. but the quality is not as good as the above apps.
help please? and thank you.
i just received my phone today..i tried out the camera and everything is set to auto..auto focus and auto everything..when i aim the camera on an object..it does not focus on its own..i have ti touch the screen for it to focus..i tried switching the focus to macro and then back to auto and still nothing...it will not do it..everytime i have to touch the screen for it to focus..anyone else have this problem?
If you click the camera shutter button it will auto-focus on what it thinks is the focal point of the image, that's auto focus.

Hi guys,
Since I've bought my XM2, I had some problems with the camera... To be more exact, the autofocus function, or whatever its called. The thing is that when I start the camera app (the default one) all the pictures are blurry, I've tried to install other camera apps, but still... autofocus wont work.
Any help? Will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
No one? C'mon guys...

I have the same problem since the KitKat update. Probably Sony will fix it in future
use the manual mode instead of superior auto. you have more control over focus there
In my old Xperia Neo we had an option for stabilizin the pictures we took. Its symbol was a hand surrounded by waves. If I had that option checked I never got blurry pictures.
It would be great to improve this for our mobiles (I also have the same problem in my M2)
you can use manual focus instead of autofocus. Just set type of focus do you want (touch, face detection) in camera setting
