does anyone else have any issues with their wifi 3G or 4G service on a custom ROM. I was running sbreens custom ROM and had horrible wifi 3G and 4G service I had to literally be sitting next to my router in order to get my wifi to work I don't know if it's his rom or not because I used to run his hyperdrive it was awesome. Is anybody experiencing the same as you on Viper ROM?

I'm running hellybean and am wondering what I need to tether. I've never done it before. One reason I started on this path of rooting then to custom ROMs was to work around the tethering charge. I already pay for my data what does it matter which device uses it. Any help?

It's right there in settings; go to more and you will see tethering/portable hotspot. There are other apps and widgets in the store of course.

They can't tell you're tethering unless they guess it from your usage.

Hey, my lte isn't working... The only APN that works at all is "ATT PHONE" even Odin flash to stock didn't work.

There's an app on the market call Network Monitor download it check it out yo I can tell you if you're actually getting 4g speed

I'm sorry for the confusion. I have tried all of the ROMs, and none were connecting to lte, I eventually took it to an AT&T store... I had a 3g only plan from my iPhone. :banghead:
They fixed it. Now I get lte speeds.

Cyanogen Mod 11 or Beanstalk latest build? and for me the camera has worked perfectly on both and you will have to do a full wipe for both of them
Cyanogen Mod 11.....but i fixed it.... I just had to clear the camera app cache to reset it....Thnx anyways

Mine switches between 3G and H and it's mostly because of the towers and mountains/hills blocking the signal of those towers but you can try to hard reset from recovery especially if you're on a custom Rom

your apn is ip6?if it is, change it to ip4.What market are you in and what about 20+20Mhz and 4X2 mimo there , i am in sf bay area and i think we are on 4x2 mimo since yestarday but cant say for sure , dont have the iphone At least we are on 10Mhz still, so if this 100% increase in download has been some weerd weather condition or i dont know , then at least i am waiting for 15Mhz x 2.Right :laugh:
