Hi everybody, as i can't ask in the thread of PA ROM, due to 10 posts limit, i ask there...
Is there a way to modify build.prop or install motorola libraries, specifically in PA ROM, that allow to install stock motorola apps from play store??
Thanks in adv!!

You probably can modify the build.prop (I don't know how) to install the Moto apps, but they won't work without the system level supporting library and framework files. So instead you should find the apps you want here in the forum as flashable zip. Many of them are ported to custom roms like the camera or the assist app.

I bought a ZTE V967s for one reason: to keep a portable listing of my home library with me so I don't keep buying duplicate books at sales. I rooted the phone and installed Max Flavour.
I'm wondering if I can download the few apps I need associated with my library software onto the sd card and then flash Max Flavour slim without gapps? The apps I need to run are not put out by Google.
Thanks for any help. I'm a very new newbie, but many thanks to Carliv for an excellent YouTube video that allowed me to root my phone!

Thank you. Now I'm wondering if I can uninstall gapps, or if I need to re-flash the ROM without it?

You can uninstall using titanium backup and no need to reflash rom for gapps issue. If you need gapps, later you can install too

Hello. Here are the applications that work for our Lg G Pro 2.
Just follow these steps:
1. Copy into system/priv-apps all G3 apps
- LGAlarmClockG3_signedGpro2.apk
- LGContacts_signedGpro2.apk
- LGContactsProvider_signedGpro2.apk
- LGFavouriteContactsWidgetG3_signedGpro2.apk
- LGGalleryG3_signedGpro2.apk
- LgMusicG3_signedGpro2.apk
- LgMusicWidgetG3_signedGpro2.apk
- LGCalendarG3_signed_signedGpro2.apk will be installed as a normal apk , after you delete LGCalendar.apk and LgCalendar.odex from system/priv-app.
2. Delete old items from system/priv-app using a manager (i use root explorer)
- LGAlarmClock.apk
- LGAlarmClock.odex
- LGCalendar.apk
- LGCalendar.odex
- LGContacts.apk
- LGContacts.odex
- LGContactsProvider.apk
- LGContactsProvider.odex
- LGFavouriteContactsWidget.apk
- LGFavouriteContactsWidget.odex
- LGGallery.apk
- LGGallery.odex
- LGMusic.apk
- LGMusic.odex
- LGMusicWidget.apk
- LGMusicWidget.odex
3. Set permissions to rw-r-r
4. Change owner to root (if neccesary)
5. Reboot the phone and enjoy
Known issues
- The statusbar color inside these applications is black (for now) ... i have hope that there will be a way to fix that (i'm already collaborating with the XDA member UserXP_ and he will try to fix this)
- The callendar works only if it's installed as a normal apk (after you deleted the old app from system/priv-app )
- The LgMessage.apk isn't working yet, UserXP_ it's trying to fix the bugs.
- This is what we have for now.. maybe we will get more apps in the future. If anyone else have more, post in this thread. Many thanks

Extra info and Credits
This port was possible only with the generous help of the great XDA member UserXP_ , so all thanks and credits must go his way. I'm only glad i can share his work with the rest G Pro 2 owners(i hope this community will grow up someday). I am sure that people who will use this apps can at least go at his main topic here and hit thanks. These apps will probably work with any 4.4.2 stock rom , i tried on v10b Hong Kong(be careful , i'm almost sure these apps won't work on other devices , so don't try or try at your own risk ,and don't try the apps from UserXP_'s topic , they won't work on our device). The preliminary result it's in the atachments.
Works perfect
Thank you guys
Can't wait for status bar color
And more apps?
Works perfectly too thanks you
New Gallery is nice. Thanks.
Very good.

G3 apps
Hi, is it possible for you to share other G3 apps like QTheatre or QTranslate? I saw some custom ROMs have them included. Thanks for answering.
Hello. I don't know. You may ask UserXP_ since he is porting a lot of apps from g3 and he helped with g pro 2 apps.

Yes sir! I did try those steps. But they dont seem to work. On the reboot it says preparing new apps but still nothing works. I tried to restore the backup of the apps into system\priv-apps folder but even they dont work now.
I just am trying to replace the default LG phone and contacts app. But unable to.
If you can't restore your files, in this program LG Phone From you will find link with .kdz for your phone. Download .kdz to your PC and use LG Flash tool 2014 to flash your phone. Use "Normal flash", not "CSE flash". About 3 minutes and you have stock phone. Root it again with Stump root and try those steps in first post of this topic. But you need to delete both .apk and .odex files.
10 minutes of work and done.
I dare not do this thing, it will crash my phone.
Hello guys,
I recently converted my XT1032 to GPe and installed the official Lollipop OTA. That OTA comes with the OLD calendar app and google Camera.
I was wondering if it's possible to REMOVE the old calendar app and install the Motorola Gallery and Camera apps as system apps. Has anybody tried?
I'd appreciate everyone's input on this! Thanks!

it is possible if you have custom recovery installed and rooted
check this thread for Camera and gallery
as for OLD calendar app is concerned you can disable/remove the OLD one and install the google calendar from Google play store
Note : most importantly you should post the questions in Q&A subforum not in the Themes & Apps section
Hi friends..
I have a request.. Can anyone mod the op6 gallery version 2.6.78 ..its from older op6 roms..so that it can be used in android 10 as the default gallery.. it was very useful for annotations of screenshot.. New gallery app is really bad for annotations..
Link to apk
https://drive.google.com/file/d/12hrI1G_Wiq3K1Mvcw2A0_AYGfXMCJ3_Z/view?usp=drivesdk
Rooting not possible since paid educational apps are not working with rooted phone.. Please consider this request and help me..
Thank you
Just find an alternative app. Even if someone did manage to get it working on Android 10, you won't be able to install it if you're not rooted since you cannot install a modified APK to replace the original app due to conflicting signatures.
Also, this belongs in Q&A.
Ok..thanks ..i will use some other app..
I extracted the built-in camera from the official ROM of realme q and wanted to install it on a third-party rom, but I failed. Maybe I need to merge the vdex and odex files into the apk, but I am not a developer, I need Help, maybe there are others here who need this official camera, please help me and others.

Tried that but that won't work. Stock camera needs oppo libs and blobs to work which no developer could find a way yet to implement in custom roms.

I'd like to know a way of using the 48 mp and macro cameras on a custom rom as well, but i'm not sure if it's possible to just copy the app from the stock rom. Maybe try this? (can't post links yet, sorry, just remove the spaces) https:/ /www .apklinker.com/apk/oppo/oppo-camera/oppo-camera-3-1-0-release/oppo-camera-3-1-0-android-apk-download/
aux cameras can already be used from custom rom but we definitely need 48MP
