I have a problem with my I337, I have 4.4.2 stock rom with safetrap, deezer only works with wifi, the directv apk "Mundial soccer" it´s the same, only with wifi, my wife have a I9500, this dont have this problem, show all with 3G network.
Need a some mod?

I would like to formally request this because this is very cool! There might be away to change something in the apk to eliminate the need for the verizon call home, and then we can just use the 3G and wifi use on it.

Yeah I'm on 3 in the UK, and we get Skype, though only over 3G. Is altering the apk even possible?
Would love for it to be usable on Wifi too.
Someone linked to it on Android Central. Here's the link to the APK, but from what I hear it still doesn't work over WiFi and it doesn't work on anything other than Verizon still (even over WiFi)

Yeah it still does not work over wifi. It's just activates your 3G wifi data WHILE still utilizing wifi. Piss poor.

my samsung galaxy y mobile network status showing disconnected. first 4 5 days 3g works well, after its didnt get.
i tryied its with factory reset. but its didnt work with that?
wifi works well and call ,sms also well.
only thing is 3g and mms doesn't.

I just flashed manually to Lollipop and I noticed that when my LTE signal kicks in I lose cellular network services like calls and text BUT I am able to download and browse. Happens also when I force my phone on LTE ONLY...same symptoms.
It didnt used to do that when I was on Kitkat

I a sprint S5 working on consumer cellular network (AT&T/T). I can not get a network signal in my home so I am trying to get wifi calling to work. I get a 'network connection error'. I definitely have a wifi connection because I can access the web, download apps etc.
I have AT&T firmware but it will not load. So I think I have to change the CSC and/or Model Name.
Any comments or help would be appreciated, Thanks.

I found one short thread about this. But are we sure that there is no other way to use Wifi Calling ? I have a non-network phone, an LG G7. I don't want to change it ATM. Why do the networks tie Wifi Calling to the firmware like this and is there any way round it ? Cheers.
With my carrier, Wifi Calling only works with its SIM on any phone with any firmware on which Carrier Services runs or can be installed. No SIM no Wifi Calling.
You can look for services that will connect you via vpn and allow WiFi Calling, but you are always identified. Calls cannot be anonymous.
