I'm using a rooted stock AT&T Samsung Note SGH-717. I looked at my data usage today for a completely unrelated reason, and discovered that something called "10290" had burned through 1.24G on wifi. Then I found a couple other 5-digit bandits that hadn't made nearly as big a dent.
It does appear to have stopped its deluge about a week ago. "Coincedentally", I used Link2SD to move some apps around at about that time.
I've done several searches and am shocked that I can't find any other answer, so here I am. I can't begin to guess where to start looking for this solution.

Nope, can't find anything like that either. I can only suggest you ask in the Question and Answer section for your device. Perhaps someone has heard of such a thing.

Hi! I have the International note 2 n-7100. 2 days ago, I flashed ditto note 3 rom v5 using the CWM recovery v6.0.4.3. It worked fine untill yesterday night, when I was playing music. I paused the music via the lock screen and locked the phone and put it away. 5 minutes later, i pressed the unlock button, and here was the surprise. Touch isn't working, notification panel disappearing, background keep switching between the regular one to a black one, and an error was shown: TouchWiz home isn't responding. With a wait button and a close, and i cant press any... The phone now is piece of wood. I cant do anything, but I'm regularly receiving mailsand notifications, so wifi is working and apps too. What can I do? Please help me! I want my phone back. This is my first thread on xda bcz i cant find any solution!

Hi everyone!!
I'm currently running a custom ROM on my Samsung galaxy S3 '' Carbon ROM'4.4.4'' which I'm really happy with except from the fact that I recently discovered that when I try and record a video with my device, the recorded video always comes out with very low volume, I could hardly hear anything, I never had that issue before installing this ROM.
I'm wondering if anybody did come across a similar issue with a custom ROM, and if there is any solutions to fix this annoying problem because I don't wanna switch to another ROM just for this only problem

Once you reach 10 posts, you can ask in the rom threads. Do read some of the rom thread first... Starting at the last page and reading back. If it's a current issue, it's usually discussed recently.

Two days before i bought a Samsung Galaxy S6, it was working fine for a day today i discovered a wired problem,
I found touch Malfunctioning in my Galaxy S6 SM-G920I Indian Model, when i press buttons on left side right side buttons worked, i reserted back to factory setting and used odin to update my firmware but still touch is not resolved,
Was shocked to see this problem in a higher end device. i surendered the device to the service centre,

I have a Sprint Samsung Note 3 (SM-N900P), I will be using my phone as a GPS on a long motorcycle ride (9+ hours). What I am looking for is a custom ROM's (or some apps that use root) to extend my battery life as long as possible but still use it as a GPS. I have 2 extra batteries for it, my phone is still stock and I have had quite a bit of experience installing ROM's and rooting android devices, as well as unbricking them. I am not concerned about the speed of the device, but being able to turn the performance back to normal would be a plus. Any advice would be helpful, thank you for reading!

I removed the stock OS that the phone came with and installed CM 12.1 (CM12.1-20160807-NIGHTLY-hltespr) Ever since I installed CM, I started having a lot of issues with my GPS both with google maps and with other apps that require usage of GPS services like PokemonGo for example. On this particular issue the carrier is a bit irrelevant, because the Note 3 I own used to be with Sprint, but then I switched to AT&T and I use a Moto E to tether the Note 3 (plus I didn't have money at the time to get the same phone but from AT&T). I've tried looking for relevant topics on how to "configure" the GPS, but i havent seen anyone so far with a similar situation as mine.
