[Q] API for precisely modifying shutter speed, ISO, and aperture as exactly as I want - General Questions and Answers

For the research purpose, I need to be able to control the shutter speed precisely without affecting or changing the ISO or the aperture. The shutter speed needs to vary from 10ms to 2000ms, with a step of 10ms. So that means there needs to be 200 different options for shutter speed, and so far the best apps for android phone just offer a few, and still they cannot keep the values of the aperture and the ISO the same in all images. I really wish that they can make the app in a way that I can plug in number for my shutter speed, ISO and aperture, and they have to maintain the same values no matter when or where I take a photo; for instance 1.27 seconds for exposure time, f/1.42 for aperture, 800 for ISO. I've been thinking about program my own app, but I have no idea how to start. I don't even know if it is possible to program an app that can really allow us to plug in numbers for the shutter speed, ISO, and aperture precisely in millisecond. Is there any idea?

[Q] Camera: set iso, shutter speed etc?

Hi, as you all know fuze/TP cam is good when there is a lot of light but sucks with low light.
So:
- is there a way/app to manually modify ISO or shutter speed?
- is there a way to deactivare autofocus?
- is there a way set focus to infinite so it does not have to focus every time?
- is there an alternative apps for taking pictures?
Thank you

[Q] Make APP - Optical Tachometer (Helicopter etc)

Hi all, Got a Desire HD and a radio control helicopter (Trex 500).
Would like to be able to look at the heli in flight with the camera (in video mode is ok) and see what speed the rotors are spinning at.
All that's required is a method of adjusting the camera shutter speed while pointing at the heli until the blades look stationary. (Maybe use the volume rocker for adjustment)
Also a little routine to put the revolution figures on screen.
The heli blades should spin at about 2700rpm but for a wider variety of helis, would like to read a range from about 1900 to 3200 rpm.
A shutter harmonic frequency could be used as I dont think the shutter can operate at these speeds.
There are units available that use this method... But the mobile phone with camera already has the hardware needed. Just need a little bit of programming, I'm guessing.
If anyone can help i'm sure there would be a lot of interest from various fields....
Feedback on the idea welcome.....

PS. Thinking of existing measuring apps available, any reason why shutter speed can't be added to give object speed calculation and result etc etc
PPS Recording the heli in flight and then applying the Tachometer software would be ok.... might be easier to adjust the shutter speed for the video recording... ???

Is there a way I can change the camera shutter speed?

I know there's no option for it in the default camera app, but is there any other way I can controll camera shutter speed on Galaxy S6?
Bump
Open Camera does it. Its labelled as exposure but it seems to control shutter speed, ie exposure length.

Camera shutter speed problems.

For some reason the camera seems to heavily favour lower iso than high shutter speed. Such as having 1/33 shutter speed at iso 64. So it's useless for anything moving.

Samsung A7 2018 Shutter speed?

Does the phone's shutterspeed is cap at 1/8 ? How can we go higher to 1 second of exposure,2,5,10?
Anyone knows?
the shutter speed is auto in all mode, even in pro mode. so the shutter speed will be set by system with how much light go into the camera, in pro mode, it will be depend on how much iso and ev you set.
