You can't update a Rom in such a way. Doing this would render the Rom unbootable as you can NOT update ib this way. This is the exact reason android is released by VERSIONS and NOT updated by changing files in the same rom. If you wish to belive a NOOB then be my guest but either way work on sagasation will NEVER be continued and all links have been removed. Should any developer wish to see my working folders to see which Rom it originates from please PM me I will HAPPILY gIVE YOU ACESS.

How do you advance with the Sense5 project?
Flashed the ROM and I should say, it's pretty good. I'm now on other ROM though, not because this is a bad ROM, but because, I don't really like TouchWiz.
The ROM is really good and pretty smooth.
To all who are asking about sense 5 port.
I started but then stopped. This is because I have started to port kernel 3.4 from once s villec2 for better support with sense 4+ and sense 5. Once i have the kernel booting up and stable everything on sense 5 and sense 4+ will be working. Drivers will be a pain but having a sense kernel 3.4 will be a huge stepping stone for our device. Thanks and now lets keep it on topic. Xx
I accidently left out the stock email app in v2.0 and the 1 I left in is Samsung app which does not work. Will remove and replace with stock email app in v3.0 thanks.

Blind, I just said that, let's do again. You have to add this line into the Boardconfig.mk: TARGET_NO_HW_VSYNC := true, cause we haven't got vsync (f*ckin mddi display ), but the Desire HD/S (non-mddi version) has, that's why that line doesn't exist in the Andromadus msm7x30-common. With this change, the screen will work again.

I have all translation files from my repository import LewaOS-4.1 (polish and greek language in Lewa5 is still translation progress - near full).
This ROM is 4.1 - only LewaTeam released new version LewaOS-5.0 - in my personal opinion - very good rom.

Nice to see that Lewa is continue the releases for our SoC.

Well i have to say that the ROM you put in here, is briked... when you do the wipes and stuff, after you install the rom it gets stuck in the Lewa logo and never goes on...

i'm aware of that.. there is a bug in turkish language @JDStar when the language changed to turkish the system fc time to time... didn't try other custom languages you add but english is ok btw...
another bug -which is not yours in fact it's the lewa's bug- the missing call or incoming message number can't be removed even you open the message or check who is calling...
also the phone seems a bit slower than the original lewa os5! i didn't get the reason though...

edit: the bug with the language is about systemui btw.. if i had time i'd correct it by decompiling the apk...

how to use it:
as the screenshot shows just choose the appropiate size for system data then reboot to recovery wipe everything and reboot you'll have 3gb of system data.

If not add it.

I still haven't had time to see this problem.

I found the problem.
This is because my Rom uses the new KitKat launcher (GoogleHome.apk + Velvet.apk) and the Scenes menu calls the default launcher (Launcher2.apk).
When I have some time I will try fix this problem.
Until then you can replace the GoogleHome.apk + Velvet.apk with Launcher2.apk.

I decompile Velvet.apk (KitKat Launcher) and I don't found anything regarding to Scenes settings.
I don't know if the KitKat Launcher has Scenes settings.
If you find something regarding this matter please tell me.

I'm testing v1.1 Deodex and in my opinion is faster then Deodex v1.0 but have more comsumption of power. Antutu 8379 pt.

In my opinion the new Odex is not smoother than the first Deodex. Programs open up "after some thought". I have the impression that the programs are also working slowly though Antutu test is 8675 points.

there is a problem with the network its only have 'g' signal not 'h'. i think it because network mode is on wcdma and cannot be changed..even in mtk engineer mode i didnt succeed to change to dual mode(gsm + wcdma..

Try to re-install both, rom and kernel.

The link works. But it's embedded in an ad.fly link, pretty nasty thing considering it's not even your rom (one could say you are trying to make a lil money to support developing, but it's not the case).

The link works. But it's embedded in an ad.fly link, pretty nasty thing considering it's not even your rom (one could say you are trying to make a lil money to support developing, but it's not the case).

I ended up requesting the desktop version of the site and it worked perfectly.

A new ROM author (phongpan355) has asked the original ROM author if he can continue this project because the old developer's computer had problems, and the old developer's upload speed is very slow, so the new developer sent a PM if he can continue this ROM, and here you go... V1.1 is coming soon!

-What firmware version did you use as base rom ?
-You said you removed some junk..... Like what, Apps, Knox, Languages ?
-Is it stock kernel
-Install instructions, Is it ODIN flashable or Custom Recovery
Stuff like that.
It will cut down on a massive of amount of posts you will be asked to answer.
