I found this thread while searching. I'm curious as well. I don't mind rooting my gt8013 with cwm, but if all I have to do is run the towelroot app then hell I'll do that.
Me too i want to know if it is working... anyone who tried towel root in galaxy note 10.1 (2012) N8000?
I did...Not working on n8000 on latest 4.4.2 stock rom....tablet just restarts...

Intl. Galaxy S5 (4.4.2) - Successfully rooted!
Intl. Galaxy S4 (4.4.2) - Successfully rooted!
Intl. Galaxy Note 3 (4.4.2) - Successfully rooted!
Intl. Sony Z2 (4.4.2, 17.1.A.2.69) - Root failed!
Intl. Sony Z2 (4.4.2, 17.1.1.A.0.402) - Not tested yet! Will most likely work tho..
Intl. Galaxy Note 10.1 (4.4.2) - Root failed!
What I did to root the n8000 is to use chainfire's root (CF-Auto-Root-p4noterf-p4noterfxx-gtn8000)

It basically does not seem to work on any Exynos based device.

I need a 1-click root program to root Android devices. I tried the new PingPongRoot but it doesn't work for Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 3 Neo. Also, TowelRoot doesn't work for Galaxy S3 with Android 4.3, and I don't know how to fix it. It crashes the device.
Does anybody know about a good 1-click rooting app that will work for a lot of devices?
Please help. I cannot root my s5 mini. It always reboot and upload stock android back on it.
