Hi,
I've root my GT-S5839i with this file :
https://rapidshare.com/files/1846716189/root.zip
- Put the file in the SD card
- Go in recovery mode (Power + Vol up + home)
- Apply update from SD
- Select your file
- Reboot
- You are root, you have the SuperSU app and you can move app to your SD with titanium, this model is including the app2sd in the stock rom, there is nothing to do to activate
And everyone have a solution to flash the stock recovery for ClockWorkMod ?
Thanks

Root but without 'having a fixed CWM
- Download these 2 files (cwm.zip & root.zip) and copy them to internal SD:
CWM zip : http://localhostr.com/LB8fHicSiusY
ROOT zip : http://localhostr.com/9q7pQhk3UQgF
- Turn off the Tab and enter in recovery: (volume up + Power)
- Choose from the menu apply update from external storage
- Choose cwm.zip and wait until 'does not appear a new recovery blue touch version
- Select Choose install zip from sdcard and Choose zip from sdcard.
- Choose root.zip
- Install root.zip.
- Once you go back to the start menu and select reboot system now.
not carried out any kind of wipes after root .... use the new CWM 6
Grazie
I also found this tutorial which has the right files for ICS
Edit:The CWM u provided gives temporary CWM,i use aorth's CWM and works like a charm
Thanks aorth!

[Q] Ask Command for Run .bat file (urgent)

Hey, I try to follow this instructions
1) Download
1.1) Image for 4.0.4
1.2) Patch for 4.1.1
2) Put patch 4.1.1 to an external SD card (not required, but helps a lot)
3) Boot to fastboot (adb reboot bootloader)
4) Install new image via running flash-ics.bat (that will give us a 4.0.4 image that will definitely upgrade to 4.1.1)
step 4, how can I install new image via running flash-ICS.bat? what command that I should type? I have all the file that required
Any answers would be appreciate.
Thanks

[GUIDE] how to flash a custom recovery permanently

Hi guys,
I saw some people on trouble because they don't know about this method and hence, after rebooting their device's stock recovery overwriting the custom one. So if you're having this problem then this guide would be helpful for you
Retirements:
1. Root
2. A good file manager (I suggest root explorer)
How to:
1. Install root explorer (recommended)
2. Go to system folder
3. You will find a file named recovery-from-boot.p, move it to somewhere (you can also delete it but I suggest just move)
4. Now go to etc folder
5. You will find a file named install-recovery.sh, move/delete this one also
5. Done, now flash a custom recovery and it will be installed permanently
