[Q] Mobinnova Beam N910 Android Possibilities? - General Questions and Answers

Hello,
I have a mobinnova beam netbook (mobinnova N910-DVT) which was rumored to run android at one point (blog.laptopmag.com/mobinova-beam-smartbook-shows-android-some-love).
Unfortunately the model I have is running windows ce (ubergizmo.com/2009/09/mobinnova-n910-smartbook-hands-on-tegra-smartbook) and i haven't been able to find any official or unofficial information on installing android on the device. If anyone has any leads on this device it would be greatly appreciated.
In the hope of hooking it up to another machine for future investigation does anyone know what kind of a port is on the back of this thing - it's super thin port of some kind (serial?). You can see it on the left in this picture: blog.laptopmag.com/exclusive-mobinnova-beam-tegra-based-smartbook-launching-at-ces/mobinnovabeam_3587
Thanks
Specs:
Tegra Beam 600, 650mhz
512 MB NAND
512 MB RAM

G Tablet model 320

Does anyone have any additional information about the model 320?
Any pictures or other leaked information on it?
Having an extra 512 mb memory chip on it might be important.
One of the reasons a "cruz" cannot be upgraded to a later version of android (it is on android 2.0) is that the newer versions of android wont fit on the "Cruz's" 128 mb ram memory chip.
Will the 1 gig chip on the new G Tablet Model 320 allow it to install the android 2.3 OS and maybe the new Honeycomb version due out next year?
Any word if it will take the place of the Model 300? Is it being held up from distribution to allow time for the older model 300 stock to be sold out?
Edit: how much room on the 512 mb chip does the android 2.2 app use? Or another way of asking is: What is the file size of the android 2.2 OS and what is the file size of the android 2.3 OS?
My understanding is that 1gb version would not run most of the software posted here on xda, so it would be pointless.
Tmk, only a small number of 320's made it to the States, and I only know one XDA user who owns one.
It's basically a v2 Malata device, like the v2 zPads. Because of this. support is questionable because all the devs and modders here have 300's. I know from my zPad contact that the v2 zPads have a completely different boot.img and their newer kernels are not compatible with our device, so it's a double-edged sword. We have no idea it they will even show up in th States in the future, let alone replace the GTab we currently own.

[Q]Amiga tablet-Root

So there's a new company that owns all the old Amiga patents and they decided to release and android tablet. Now I don't expect it to be a galaxy or a transformer but based on its specs, can anyone help me identify which other device it is most similar to.
I might be tempted to purchase if I knew there were a way to root it.
Thanks for any help

If you want install Windows like a PC (desktop apps...) it is impossible because are different platforms (ARM VS X86-64).
If you mean Windows RT, actually is it not possible
What do you mean I can't install Windows on a Tablet? There are Tablets that have Windows on them. I saw a tablet that had Windows and Android on it. They were two separate Tablets, but they were both the same model with the same specs.
I'm not talking about PC version of Windows. I'm talking about the version that is on Tablets and Phones, Windows Mobile or something. There has to be a Custom ROM with that kind of Windows for me to flash it on the Tablet. But I don't know where to look for it.
EDIT: I just found out that there is Windows 8.1 RT for ARM based devices.
If you mean the Asus Duet, it's an x86 , not ARM.
There aren't custom ROM with Windows RT inside. Cotulla is working on it with HTC One.

Damn it, just search the net! Windows 8.1 RTM works with ARM cpus. The thing is I have no clue how to install it on android. It is an iso file that boots from the usb, but that only works on pcs(I think). They don't give us the instructions on how to install it on the Android. :crying::crying:

You cant run windows or even windows RT on your tablet/ majority of tablets out there (unless you create a virtual engine to mimic it which will work like crap) but i can suggest you side load Ubuntu with your android device which will work well. The OS is very malleable in that it is extremely open source AND is linux based, search for that instead... Good luck.
Quote RamRaja. Try to install that.

Are you yelling and cussing at people to figure out what you cant?
Right now tablets dont really come as blank personal computing devices that you can unstall what ever OS and boot loader you want. The windows system would need drivers for all the on board hardware which may not be possible...

This app might help you if needed for Microsoft windows core apps. It runs off a server... even gives you 2GB free cloud storage if they havent changed it yet. Onlive desktop app for android. Hope that helps.
BTW: Yes RT can run on ARM, but currently does not work for yours as detailed above.

First of all, sorry for yelling. I just said to him that there's already a windows that can run on arm cpus. But he didn't believe me...
Second, there aren't a large variety of components for tablets, most of them have the same crap. So it wouldn't be needing so many drivers.

Well it says ANY arm based device. So my cpu falls into that category. Why are you saying my tablet can't run it?
BTW: I don't want to offend anyone. I just hoped that someone knew about it and how do do it. There is on now, but it's made for a surface tablet...
It would be nice if we could flash it though custom recovery.
