[Q] Flashing Stock ROM on Sony Xperia L - C2105 - General Questions and Answers

I have Sony Xperia L - Jellybean 4.2.2 - 15.3.A.1.17 - Rooted Stock ROM - Locked Bootloader
For some reasons I have to make a hard factory reset with Sony Update Service program, but instead of letting the program re-download the firmware then installing it on the phone, I already made the FTF file that I downloaded in the past by using the Flashtool.
Now The Question Is:
Have I worry about losing the DRM Keys when I flash this FTF with the Flashtool ?, or this kind of flashing will not affect it ?, or I have to check Exclude TA in the Flashtool ?

Hey , anyone please help me

Hello All,
I want to restore my xperia z3 D6603 back to its factory settings.
I received the device with Telekom.DE xxx.5.77 ftf
then i flashed the device with D6603_23.1.A.0.690_Customized_US.ftf without root or unlocking the bootloader.
Now i want to load the Telekom.DE xxx.5.77 ftf back and set it to factory settings .
Please help me with the steps.
Thanks & Regards,
Kishore Kumar.
Use Xperifirm to download the desired firmware.
Then build ftf file with Flashtool and flash the resulting ftf file via Flashtool.
Note that downgrade from lollipop to kitkat will need to wipe everything on your device.

Flashing your phone using Flashtool will solve eveything.
Get the required ftf (download from the ftf post or create your own). Use the FSC when prompted.
This flashing here have nothing to do with TA.

XZ bootloop after Oreo update, Xperia Companion's repair don't work

Hi,
My dad recentely upgrade his XZ, but it didn't work and the phone is in bootloop. So I try ti use Xperia Companion to repair it but pass 10% there is a error message and it can't go further...
So my question is can i make a factory reset using a Stock firmware with Flashtool without loosing the TA partition ? (the phone is full stock so the bootloader is lock and my dad want to keep is waranty) (I try some researches but i didnt found any answers about flashing a stock rom with flashtool, all i found is how to flash a custom rom)
Thx,
Valentin
Flashing a FTF will do nothing to the TA partition. You are safe to proceed

Restoring TA Partition of Xperia XZ Global F8331 on Xperia XZ Softbank 601SO

Here's how it's happen :
-601so with 601so firmware (softbank)
-unlocking the bootloader and successed, but forgot to backup ta partition
-flashed f8331 ftf files (nougat), backed up f8331 ftf files, flash extistenz n v8.0 custom rom
-i wanted to re-lock the bootloader, so i flash f8331 ta backup files and tried to flash 601so ftf files, successed but carrier.sin didn't flashed. i boot up the phone it show chameleon workflow force close dialog and i can't do anything on that
-i tried to flash the f8331 latest oreo but it failed
any solution? sorry for bad explanations, my english are bad.
