About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first created based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean because of curiosity. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device (EVO 3D). Since then many others have joined the project and it has grown a whole lot. We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours and many of our contributors have gone to help other projects and that is ultimately why we do what we do.
Once Jelly Bean was over, we decided in Kitkat to move to a new base which was OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting because it challenged us to see what we could with something different.
With Lollipop, we have moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. That said it has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward.
Few more things we will say is that we don't accept nor ask for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc.....
We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask is that you search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Does this ROM support USB OTG ?

Flashed this morning and everything seems smooth and stable so far, lots of options and features to play with. Thanks for bringing this awesome ROM to grouper!

Great ROM! Nice and fast with very little bloat. Have you thought about adding the new CM11 theme engine?

Awesome, finally someone brought back nav bar arrow keys. Thank u so much for ur hard work. Can't wait to try this ROM. Any special provisions for AT&T users, Loki required?

These are blind builds for me. I have the T-Mobile variant. Try asking in our g+ community in the actual ROM post. I've had a good bit of dl's so I'm sure someone can answer your question.
Gave it a whirl and it worked with TWRP. Loki'd it just in case, man I am loving this ROM. Great job!
I'm pumped to see this rom here. Does it have the functionality to turn off the softkey lights?

Unfortunately no, but u can turn off the battery light and create custom notification lights. Running really smooth for me right now with a nice dark cm12 theme.

If using the AT&T variant, loki will always be required when flashing any kernel (whether it is a separate flash or already included in tkernel/rom zip) other than the stock tw kernel (for those that can loki). Higher firmwares who require safestrap to load custom roms cannot use this, as the rom must be compatible with the stock tw kernel.
That said, thanks for this rom! I put t-mo guts in my i337 to bypass all that bootloader crap. I loved du since my i727 Skyrocket days
I really like all the customization options, but I can't get the time to stay accurate. The ROM keeps resetting the clock's time 4 hours behind my time zone! Does anyone have any ideas about this?

I'm on Canadian i337m as well but the camera doesn't seem to want to work very well. I'm finding this with all of the lollipop ROMs. When trying to use the camera it will focus but not take picture all the time. If I exit out of camera app and reopen it will then take a picture without me doing anything. It then may work a couple times after but will do the same again.

Haven't had that happen to me as yet running this rom. Will keep an eye out for that though.
Anyone else getting contact FCs only when trying to view certain contacts? It seems to be related to theming, but I can't seem to narrow it down.
Sorry for cluttering the thread, will ask questions in the q&a thread.
found my old galaxy s4 i337m (canadian version) the other day that i never rooted/custom rom'd ever.... so once i figured out how to do that stuff on this phone, i loaded up the latest kitkat DU rom and have been loving the customizations, options and features included. Cant wait for this to make some more progress with lollipop and be the killer rom that the kitkat one is
Cheers

No. You are stuck with safestrap. Only those with MDB and MDL bases can flash TWRP and you cannot downgrade.

OrionOS is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of the world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for Falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom, which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and includes a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Needless to say, this project is a product of our hobbies and the love we bore for Android.

May you plan on adding system profiles? It has options to keep data only on 3g else we have to use preferred but I want it to be forced.

I do not look at SOT and stuff since its a very ambiguous way to see 'backup'. I use my phone for the whole day and I have battery in 30s' which is good enough for me.
Kernel Sources are in the organization link i posted for github.
Its r5 currently

@soham jambhekar ROM is fluid.
Wallpaper gives an insight to the name of ROM.
Lock screen charging and how much time left not visible. Hope you'll add it in next build.
Thanks for the minimalistic beauty with essential features.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days -- it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and gained contributors in the process. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew further with experience and learned a lot more along the way.
It has been an awesome learning experience and it's still not over! We are still learning, striving to grow each day, and continuing to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We do not believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going comes out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All that we do ask is that you have patience, search for answers prior to posting, read, and try to enjoy the process with us!!

I'm getting a FC from the theme chooser, what gives?
This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currently an issue that we are aware of and are addressing. For now, after you've changed the density -- reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

Another rom!
How do you feel the dragon toolchain?
Ouhh , finally something different... :T, can you add snap camera? Also i am downloading rigth now... It have f2fs support on partition? Dragon TC its really best tool chain than linaro and uber? Wooow really seem's a good proyect HYPE
OK short review, the kernel seems be compiled with 4.9 google toolchain, I dont Know if the rom its compiled with dragon TC or kernel.... or the both, it is a DU with support to f2fs in cache partition, seems be great using ram, i can get more tha 450mb of ram free, if i kill apps i have arround 500mb, my only Request its replace the aosp camera with the Snap one... Thank You
first of all too smooth... lots of customization option, still ram bar in recent is missing and I want double tap to wake option built in, don't want to use any custom kernel... thank you.
Someone has a feedback about battery life ?
Thanks for letting us enjoy DU work, it s an amazing Rom ! Keep going on the good job.

Awesome rom!! So far everything is working except I can't get service due to no SIM. There is no SIM in this phone. Any way around this?
Thanks for this! I saw the viper post in the faq and since I could never use it (had an incompatible phone years ago) I figured I would try it. Running this with viperatmos 5.5, everything seems to be working quite nicely. Only weird issue I found is OpenDelta asking me to update to the same version. Otherwise, everything's good.
i just downloading this ROM and stuckin flashing dirty unicorn system files. anyone have this problem?
