Don't expect this to work on Gingerbread but you can try. My guess is that it is only working on 4.0+

Yes. Thanks for confirming anyway.
I don't know personally on which API this was built on, it may only be available for XHDPI devices aswell but this should not be the case (I tested with 240dpi setting on my S3).
I can only confirm it works on my S3 on 4.2.2.
Edit : Forgot to mention this is a version I found accidentally (dunno who to give credits to) but it was changed in the XML to run at 30fps instead of 60fps. I can attach an original one but it may be laggy.

Did u guys try pushing to /system/app and setting the permissions and rebooting? I got it to work in S4

You shouldn't need to push it.
It can be installed as a normal app.
Also I tested on 4.1.2 on my S3 and it does work aswell.
(In other words you can use it on CM10)

Was bored and wanted a more to my liking lockscreen rings/flare. Then got carried away and figured I'd share them.
These will ONLY work on a Touchwiz ROM. Touchwiz is a must. What ROM, or version, or anything else doesnt matter. Will work on ALL Touchwiz ROMs All files are vrThemes that only contain images, so will effect nothing you or any dev has done, it will just replace the lockscreen flare images.
As for actual screen shots. Its a pain in the a** so Im just going to post the main circle, so color/style can be seen.
Install instructions
1. Download zip
2. Reboot into a custom recovery
3. Flash
4.Reboot and enjoy

While I do miss the smaller-to-larger effect (I think all circles all rather big) the effect is very nice. Downloaded all blue's and two red's. Will experiment some more with them. Keep it up! :good:

Maybe I misread but on MH8 stock Touchwiz ROM ... it's not working.
Of course it couldn't be compatible with ALL versions (framework file is slightly different between versions...).

I'm on MH8 and have flashed just about every one.....Compatible on all versions.... Their all pngs. All the pngs have the same name for the images in all firmware versions. Xml, smali, etc is different between versions, not png names/locations.
Do you have light effect selected in lockscreen settings?

Blue seems to be the most popular one according to the downloads so will probably make some more blues.

I try the rom, but i dont know why but at the first boot the phone and Bluetooth give FC continuously, so i cant use the rom..

the problem is the addons zip so use this one it should works now...

I have tried the rom and the same error. Maybe you can change the base to 4.2.2 cuz it is very stable and I like it more.

[APP][4.0+] Android 4.4 KitKat Keyboard - Native Emoji

So I spoke too soon, here's another one that works:
LatinIME (Android AOSP keyboard)
It's similar to the current one and the Google Keyboard with the following differences:
Symbols menu is different (I don't see how, it just looks different)
Emoji section (Replaces enter in some apps, long press the bottom right key otherwise)
For emoji, I presume you need the font. If you don't have the font, I'm going to shamelessly plug my app

Renamed original apk to latinIME.apk.bak and pushed new latinIME.apk to system/app, changed permissions to rw-rw-r, and rebooted. Got a constant force close on the keyboard so i wiped the aosp keyboard data and force close still happens. any suggestions? running 4.3.1 Paranoid Android

This is likely a 4.4 only feature, they wouldn't input in colour on <4.4 anyway

It's not a flashable zip. You have install AolXpress.apk (as a normal app) and to put libxpressengine.so in /system/lib/ manually.

Included needed lib in apk. You no longer have to push it to system/lib/

its only for armv7 devices running 4.1.2+
