[FIX] [ZIP] Play Store: No connection. Retry - Android General

Hi guys I've made a flashable zip to fix this problem that I had, and also a lot of people had that too. This is the first zip I've made, I'm not responsible for bricked devices etc...

Could you tell us which entry in hosts file exactly caused Google play too fail? I do have this issue, but I also do have a massive hosts file which I'd rather keep.

I meant the freedom app. In my case the culprit of No connection retry or slow google play was an old or missing google services apk, so I'm terribly sorry.
Although I believe that it actually will solve most of the "no connection, retry" problems with google play!

Help please?
First i couldnt log in to google, because of the internet problem now i cant connect to the playstore.
Just tell me where to put this file and the instructions? Please I think i am going to break my device
Im using a samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 p3113

flash it in recovery OR extract the file hosts and put it in system/etc

What apk file? From where? What did you use to reach the download page? Have you retried to download it?
go to the main phone settings, apps, all, download manager, and clear the data. try downloading again,

P5100 CM 10.2 firmware download link

It's OK that is a 10.2 version
All 10.2 versions has been removed from official download page but i don't want yet to migrate to 4.4 but keep using 4.3
Hope someone can urgently help me.

Feb 5th Google Search Update

Was just wondering if anyone else was having issues with this update. When switching to the home screen from an app or from the recents menu the wallpaper resolution switches back and forth

Hmm OK I forgot to say that I'm running cataclysm with Franco r32. When I uninstalled the update its fine though

Do you notice some graphical upgrades? Because here in Italy they didn't push it yet, I tried to install the apk from Android police but I have this same issue op mentioned.. Also the workaround to make "ok Google" working in Italian doesn't work anymore
Edit: just updated from playstore, same as above

I couldn't find an official change log but all the articles I've read about the update don't mention any graphical upgrades

I'm quietly pissed off because no matter what I try this update broke my workaround to make hot word working in my language

Hopefully they have a fix for the hot word soon, and I seemed to have resolved the issue I just turned Google now on and off.

They rolled out hotword detection to English and Canadian English as well. So they definitely would have messed with the files you used to hack it to work.

Yeah, I saw the same article yesterday too. I installed the updated version last night, but I don't see animations like the video shows in the link. If anybody has the animations after updating, please share the apk. Thanks

Nope works fine with art and cataclysm / elementalx . and animations work also for that other guy asking . 0 issues . i downloaded .apk from AP

just got the update here in the UK, hotword detection works :good:

Please help my note 12.2 pro lte version snote unfortunately stops after using it for about a minute or slightly more I tried clearing cache from app manager and using power off method and I saw on other fourms and posts that some people tried hard reset but didn't work so what can I do?

clear the data of the app... if that doest work than hard reset... and if that wont work also than you must reflash it with odin...
