[Q] Handsfree Bluetooth

Hei!
now a week ago i bought a Handsfree Bluetooth Motorola H350.
I tested it with a mobile Motorola and with other phone, Nokia. Work great..
But .. My phone, htc touch diamond don't detect it
I use original ROM ..
Can someone help me?
I am looking for handsfree bluetooth.
Hello friend,
It may be any defect on your mobile set that's why the hands free bluetooth can't detect your htc mobile. Perhaps there any connection problem between two , so refer to your shop from where you buy your set.
Thanks

I have the motorola rokr s9-hd headset, and all I did was set the tab and headset to discovery and they both saw each other. Connected and started listening to my music.
The VZE tab doesn't allow headsets other than a2dp for music.

Okay if VZW isn't allowing this is there anyway to circumvent this? possible a hacked or altered driver change in a kernal not sure where the root of the "problem" is but is sucks.
No there isn't. It has to do with the Bluetooth stack. You could flash a European Tom that supports it but then the VZW part wont work because the radio is incompatible.

[Q] Using phone 3G connection on Tablet

HI,
I have a SGS3 phone. I can use my SGS3 3G connection on my laptop when there's no WIFI at my location.
Is it possible to do the same with the tablet? Cause the model I have is the WIFI only but would love to use my phone 3G connection.....
thnx
Why can't you do the same thing with the Note? It's called tethering. You enable wifi tethering on your phone first, then connect your Note to your phone. Easy peasy.

So "WIFI Tethering" will use 3G Data Connection of the phone?? Cause as I said, it's in the situation where there's no WIFI.

Yes
Beamed from my CM10.1 Galaxy Nexus
Just be aware that tethering to your phone will eat your phones battery power very quickly...
yeah I thought so ....... I have a 12000ma portable charger, that should circumvent that issue
Mate, from your post, it says you have the N8000 model. This is the 3g model. The wifi only are , worldwide, the N8010 and the , America, N8013.
There's also the Turkish N8005 but that has 3G internet.
There's the 4g LTE N8020 too..
If indeed you have an N8000 then you can slap a normal sized sim in it and use it for 3G and phone calls...
No it's my mistake, it's the N8010 that I have

Actually, sharing the connection using bluetooth is much more energy efficient and in my opinion better and easier.
Or would it be possible to connect with the phone by USB using an OTG adapter?

How do you share internet access through BT?
I like your USB idea indeed, didn't think of it, yes I do have the adaptor.

Using another Android 4.. phone the procedure is as follows:
Open the settings and share internet (same place as share by wifi), click the share by bluetooth button.
Open the bluetooth settings on your tablet. The easiest way to do this is to hold the bluetooth symbol in the system bar a couple of seconds, the same button that can turn bluetooth on and off.
Pair your devices, the first time you might have to make sure that one are in pairing mode (or visible might be a better name). Click the setting button for your phone in the tablet bluetooth menu. There's a setting called something like "use this devices Internet connection", click that.
Done! There might be some quick fix app that gives you widgets to turn it on and off instantly.
It won't hurt to try, when you connect it to your computer as far as I remember you get the option of sharing the phones Internet connection. Maybe it's just as simple when connecting to the tablet. Else, there might be an app for that as the kids are saying nowdays

[Q] connecting a landline phone to my wildfire

Apologies if this has been covered before.
I have a disabled relative who is also partially sighted. He can use a large button landline phone with little difficulty, but is now moving house and has no landline socket.
He cannot see to use a mobile, I have tried to use large icons on my tablet, but that doesnt work for him either.
Is there a way to connect his familiar landline phone to any android based smartphone ?
I have seen systems like nokia premicell but would this actually function transparently for this application ?
I have also seen US systems promising the same functionality, but will they work with UK equipment ?
Thanks in advance
Peetee
You can with a landline phone that has call to cell via Bluetooth.
