[Feature request] Video Play List - MX Player

Hi,
I would like to request for a play list feature.
Problem context:
I have a whole list of video files (+50 videos and counting) stored within a folder for a certain topic.
But I only wish to play certain videos for certain sessions of my meeting with my friends - planning ahead. However, as they are not sorted according to their file names, currently it's very hard to jump here and there. I have to stop a video, search for another video, then continue the playback.
Or I may wish to play certain videos for my kids from within another folder or a combination of folders.
My wish:
To be able to create multiple video playlist for different purposes.
That I can select a video, choose "add to a play list", select which play list from the ones I've created or add to (i.e. create) a new playlist.
Thank you for your considerations.
Regards.

This feature request already exists in the feature requests list, under high priority #8.

This feature is still missing on the latest mx player, I could not create a plylist

A VERY needed and basic feature indeed!
The player sees the m3u file but does not play the contents.

[CLOSED][APP][4.0+][v2.0] Jams Music Player brings unofficial Google Play Music support!

Play Store link:
Jams Music Player is a beautiful, yet insanely powerful music player. Featuring a stunning Holo Cards theme (regular Holo theme also available), Jams has everything you could ever want or need in a music player!
Support for both phones and tablets.
Supports all the formats supported by Android (mp3, FLAC, AAC, ogg, etc.)
Unofficial GMusic support. All Access isn't available, I'm pretty sure the big record companies won't take it too well if I put it in. If you have your personal music collection uploaded onto Google though, this app can handle it
Limit your music library down to specific folders on your SD card (you can pick as many folders as you want).
Ability to save positions in individual tracks and resume from them later (useful for Audiobooks/Podcasts).
Organize your entire music collection into smaller sub-libraries. (Take a look at the imgur screenshot(s) to get a gist of what I mean).
Individual equalizer settings for each song. Say you set Song A to Pop and Song B to Rock. When you play Song A, Jams will automatically switch the equalizer to Pop. If you play Song B, Jams will switch to Rock. You can also batch apply equalizer settings to multiple songs by artist, album and genre.
The homscreen widget displays your current queue so you can easily browse through it without opening the app.
A-B Repeat mode. You can repeat a specific range of a song from point A to point B.
Displays embedded lyrics. I don't think I'll be adding lyrics from the Internet after what Sony did last summer to another music player.
Sort by album artist! This is for those of you who have large compilation albums.
Full blown file manager with copy, paste, move and delete functions.
Blacklist tracks, artists, and albums. This allows you to exclude individual tracks from your library without actually deleting the files.
Smart playlists (Top 25 Played Tracks, Top Rated, Recently Added, and Recently Played).
ID3 tag editor.
Crossfade.
Gapless playback.
Automatically fetches album art from the internet.
Customize the app with 4 different application themes and 9 different player colors.
Enqueue support with reorder, swipe to remove from queue, the basic stuff.
Scrobbling support.

[Feature request][Resolved] Continious playing folder to folder

Please, add a feature - continuously playing video from one folder to next folder (similar to hardware MP3 players).
I have android media center in my car, so, i have a lots of music videoclips on hdd sorting by folders.
Now, after playing last video in folder MX Player stops.
And it's take some time and attention to find next folder in list, open it and start first video.
Please, add this feature!!!
MX Player is amazing! I love it!!!))
I saw from the sticky thread that this has been implemented. This is one of the major features I thought was missing from mx player, and I never would have found it if I hadn't come here with another issue.
I feel this incredibly useful new feature should have advertised somewhere. The change log in the play store maybe?
Did you know you can long press on folder and files and then press play button?
you can enable it by change sort view
just cancel sort by folder
enable/disable it menu->view

Playlist Feature (Shoutcast, WinAmp, etc)

I'm not sure if this feature has been suggested, or if it already exists (being unable to find it), but I would really like the ability to build and manage playlists in MX Player.
I really do love how MX Player can run independent of playlists, jumping to the next file in a local folder (or shuffling if enabled), but sometimes I'm keen to watch or listen to a specific series of media, even web media and streams.
Now that WinAmp is dead, I do hope that some of the features found in WinAmp will find their way into MX Player. That includes:
Playlists
Shoutcast streams
More prominent Shuffle and Loop buttons (took me a long time to find this hidden feature).
Also, I would really love the ability to copy or bookmark the address of streaming media. For instance, if I choose MX Player to play a .pls or .m3u link, that media opens in MX Player, but I have no means of copying or bookmarking it to play again later.
Thanks bleu8888.

Already on the feature list from a long time ago. (high priority #8). Ctrl+F in the "feature requests" sticky post next time
Also if you are looking for a dedicated, feature-rich music app, I would recommend PowerAmp.

create and fill music playlist

Hi
I've found out how to create and fill a play list for the music scope.
I've used a browser starting a song. While playing i can add the song to the play list.
This is time consuming work.
In some descriptions i found the music scope supporting .M3U files. Is this true?
For me they do not seem to be recognised.
How to fill a play list with several hundred songs at the same time?
Best regard Eddy

[Resolved] Automatically changing playlists

Hi everyone,
I am looking for an app with the following features:
- Play all kinds of differently encoded videos
- have a daily automatically changing playlist of X videos that are played in loop all day long
I had a look at MX player, VLC etc., but they don't even seem to offer playlists ... (I thought about using macros to achieve that second feature, but without playlists ...)
I would be glad about any suggestions.

PS: Does it make sense to ask the developers of MX Player to implement such a feature in their pro version?
This can already be achieved in MX Player. In the video selection menu, select all videos in a folder, and press "play selected" at the toolbar at the top.
In your player settings when player a video, go menu -> play -> loop all
Thank you for your reply.
But I think in this case the videos will eternally be the same.
But I want a certain number of videos be looped for a day and the next day another certain number (for instance 5) of different videos be looped for another day.
you should use tasker
1-you create a folder "X" where you put your videos in
2-You create another folder "Y" where your put the videos that have to be played
3-with tasker you create a task that will move/copy files from "X" to "y" (you have to set up days and hour for this)
4-with tasker you create a task that will erase file in folder X (you can erase them at the end of the day for ex.)
It can a little bit hard but I think you can succeed with taker and mx.
Regards.
