[Q] Monitor Mode - HTC Sensation

Is there anyway to put Sensation XE's Wi-Fi card BCM4329 in monitor mode? I tried bcmon, but that is not working (I tried it on both CM11 and CM9). On CM9 the app works, but the chip gets disabled, so I can't use reaver. Any ideas?

Bump.

Last bump. Any idea, guys?

wifi hard wire

hi
I have an XDA compact and have tweeked it loads, i have to say its the most stable XDA EVER... ITS NEVER CRASHED! even with tomtom5 and all other stuff.
Any how, I have a SD wifi card which layed dormant while I had the XDAIIi (the most unstable XDA) but I was wondering about trying to find a way to hard wire the wifi in.
I have checked the reg and it has the wifi settings ready to tweek.
what I will try is running the 2gb sd card wired with the wifi card and a scan disc driver for the 256+wifi and see if this works.
I have though about using com 1 or the USB connection too.
any ideas on this??

wifi didn´t work on htc touch pro with xdandroid 2.2.1 frx04

hi
i´ve got a problem
have a touch pro with winmo 6.5
downloaded xdandroid 2.2.1 frx03 (but tried to resolve the problem with changing to frx04, too).
first - xdandroid works great. very nice and smooth
but - i only loaded it because it´s not possible to connect a android tablet with a winmo hotspot (because winmo only can provide ad-hoc as spot and android is unable to connect to ad-hoc)
so i read that it should work with the android hotspot...
so far so good.
but wifi doesn´t work on my touch pro.
i tried different things -
startet the haret.exe with enabled wifi (it works great on winmo),
startet haret.exe with disabled wifi
tried the frx03, the frx04
everytime i try to enable wifi in xdandroid it says fail
unable to connect to my home-wlan
and unable to scan for wlan because alsways a fail during the try to enable
I hope there is a resolution for this problem or am i just one of those f***** people where wifi under android didn´t work'?
HTC Touch Pro here as well.
Installed 2.2.1 FRX03.21 and no wifi for me either. I just got installed yesterday. First I have tried Xandroid in about 9 months. Was hoping it would work slick, out of the box. I 'm sure someone will come up with a patch to get wifi working. Oh, by the way, camera would not work either I am guessing gps may not either?
I wanted to add, I do see a couple 'light bars' on the wifi icon that comes and goes a little, like android does see the access point.
Barry
Using FRX04 with the latest kernel package from the Autobuild site and rootfs on my Fuze/RAPH110 and am staring at 5 wifi spots...
Not sure why you are experiencing those issues, have you tried to start over from scratch with FRX04 yet?

[Q] ICS from WM6.5 to Android

Hi
I own a HTC Snap phone, running WM6.5 and without a touch screen, which seems to be a lethal combination (for example, the XDA facebook app will not work on my phone).
When using a windows XP laptop I simply connect the phone via USB and use it as a modem, but I assume this won't work on the Android tablet.
So I'm trying to find a way to share my 3G connection to my Android 3.2 tablet.
The default ICS app is useless - the tablet doesn't see the phone either when sharing through WIFI (I understand Android will not recognize ad-hoc wifi connections) or when using BT.
I tried installing the trial of wmwifirouter with the same results.
I tried the XDA ICS app (I think it was a port of the HTC app) and couldn't get it to run, probably because it was expecting a touch screen input.
Is there any way to solve my dilema without replacing my phone?
Thanks
There used to be an app for WM called wifi hotspot. If you could install it on your phone, the tablet would connect to it via wi-fi.

I'm 90% sure that's the one I tried that didn't work because my phone has a keyboard and no touch, but I'll try it again.
Yep, it's not working on the HTC snap.

[Q] USB OTG bug?

Hi, everyone.
im having this weird problem.
I use USB pen drive via OTG,
After i connect - use - disconnect, my tab fails to go in sleep mode. There is a battery drain as a result. Everything is fine, after i reboot the tab though, i mean the tab goes into sleep mode as soon as i turn off the screen. However, after using OTG, it fails to do so, even after closing the screen
Has anyone else, experience this prob?
Im on ICS, austrian Version. Ive noticed, this bug to be present in both the Austrian versions of ICS.
anyone has any clue as to what might be the cause?
thanks
