As the title says, I'm looking for an automatic wallpaper changer app. Must have the usual stuff; time presets, pointing to custom folder, etc.
But the most important part, also the reason why I've resorted to asking here after spending countless hours at the play store, is an app that allows me to customize each photo's alignment. My photos are mostly out of alignment whenever I use the more popular wallpaper apps out there. So I'm looking for one which allows me to preset the view for each photo before I let the program run.
Anyone with a suggestion?

Wallpaper Changer has those features. I've been using it for a long time and have had zero issues with it.

Anybody has the wRotatr apk? Every file out there is just malware, and the play store does not support it anymore.

I thought this app use to be a lot better. Older versions allowed you to create folders, then use a file explorer to manually add pictures from different folders. Now you can only select pictures using the gallery. I liked the file manager method

Maybe we're using 2 different apps. When I click on "add image" I don't see any option for adding images to my folder using ES File Explorer which is what I use.
All I see is gallery and photos

That's what I see too. The file explorer comes up when adding a folder so I see your point now.

I'm using muzei with local files for this purpose. If you don't like the blur & dim effect you can disable it!
Edit : didn't see you want to change the alignment, sorry !

Or something to lock the current photo app?
Thanks.
I just saw two in the market...sexting vault was one I think. Can't remember the other.
PhotoVault works good. You can hide individual pics, they wont show up in your stock gallery. Have to sign in w/ a password in the app to see the blocked pics....
I recommend photovault "sextingvault" just sounds suspicious. Its the same app. But better name.

The Easy way to hide photos is to mount the sdcard to your computer or use Astro or EStrongs File Explorer and just move all the photos you want hidden to another folder on the sdcard and name the folder .Whatever
Just put a Period . in front of the folder name and the Gallery app will not look for photo's in that folder so it hides them.
All you have to do is navigate to the folder with Astro etc and then view the photos from there.
This is how i hide photo's as most people are not going to go using a file explorer to go find photo's

The absolute easiest and probably best gallery app available is quickpic. It has just what you are looking for.
You can also make any folder hidden by adding * before the folder name.

Audio Manager (Hide it pro). Its awesome! It hides pictures, apps, music, and it even locks any apps you want. Best part, is that the app disguises itself as a volume controller app. Check it out.

I just downloaded "Photo Vault" from the market for $1 to do exactly this. It works great. You can even encrypt photos from the main picture folder without having to apply to the others.
Photovault is great, or you can just use astro or some other file browser to rename the folder and put a ". " in front of the name. In Linux this makes the file /folder hidden...
I prefer photovault myself though, out of the available apps.

This really needs to be stickied this is like the 4th time I've said this:
Open notepad and save an empty file with the file type set to all and the name ".nomedia" without quotes and with the period. Then place it in the folder where you don't want the gallery or music player (media scanner) to look.
Same problem
My reason for excluding folders is much different. I have music stored on my card. These music folders include album art. This really clogs up the Gallery.
It looks like the ".nomedia" resolution will not solve this.

I really like the samsung gallery, but their are no settings to tweak...
I have been using my infuse for about a month now, coming from using iphone since it came out long ago.
One of the most annoying things i have noticed is when I try to see a pic or a video using the default gallery app, it shows all the folders with images eg.music albums, is there an app or a way of just accessing the camera folder only?
Thanks .

Copy a blank text file with the file name ".nomedia" into each folder you don't want to appear in the gallery.
I've been using Quickpic from the market on my cappy instead of the gallery for a while now. Really like it and you can hide or exclude certain folders. it's a bit faster than the stock gallery (at least on the cappy anyway).
I think there may be a way to keep the gallery from looking in certain folders similar to how you can block sound files from music players (put a .nomedia file or something like that in the folder you don't want).

Its blazing fast even on Infuse. Replaced my stock gallery app immediately!
How do I get my camera uploads able to be viewed in the gallery or all my other images stored on dropbox?
Use ES File Explorer, add your Dropbox as a network drive, then you can browse the folder with the ES Gallery app (Maybe also the stock gallery app, I haven't checked because I don't use it)

Ya but when you first run the setup utility, HTC tells you that you can auto upload cam images and view them in the gallery. They definitely don't expect everyone to do that.

So I see where you can click Albums -> DropBox and I get the API access request which I accept, but then Gallery force closes. ARGH
Oh, I didn't know about that feature. Although not much of a feature, since I get to exactly the same stage as you before it force closes.
Does this work for anyone?

That doesn't answer the question at all....
It works properly for me. The Dropbox app automatically uploads my camera shots and video onto their severs. The HTC Gallery app lets me select my Dropbox folders under the Albums drop down menu. Once selected, I can browse and view whatever.

this should be the link to the app --> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.roborn.pandora
i am downloading and after using i will report.
thanks.
edit:
i guess you have reserved ad space
+:
the ui looks fresh and good.
- :
if i were a programmer i would hide hidden files by default and give users ability to show hidden files. cause there are noobs who can see and delete necessary files or folders like ".android_secure".

About ad space, maybe you mean the bottom of screen, I don't plan to add any commercial advertisement there, just keep for button of some more functions which will be added later.
