Download or recovery mode

Are both download mode and recovery mode the same?? If not I know how to go to recovery but not download. Help me.

No download mode is for flashing your phone with new firmware and recovery mode is for flashing update.zips or factory resetting your phone..
And dude please don't create separate thread for such questions.. use the main forum thread instead !!

Sorry I am a one day old member in this forum and I don't know. Now that I have posted it here can someone tell me on how to go to the download mode now that I know both are different

To go to the download mode :-
1. Power off your phone
2. Press power+home+vol. down keys together and wait until the download screen appears !!

open odin and clik on pda locate that recovery.tar which is in attachment click on auto_reboot and f.reset all
now let the recovery flash
now enjoy with touch

1st Method--Take The Battery Out And Reinsert It Again The Phone Will Start
2nd Method -- Try To Get Into Recpvery Mode And Restore Ur Backup Or Flash The New Rom
3rd Method -- If Also Not Starting After first Two Methods Then Use Sp Tools And FLASH The Stock Rom By It
JUST A QUESTION (By The Way Which Rom Are U Using)

When I pressed volume up key to go in recovery mode screen gets off..
Then I pressed volume down to go in factory mode again screen get off ..

[Q] Odin says PASS, but phone stuck on Downloading...

Hi there!
I'm trying to flash CWM Recovery on GTI9105p. I've actually done this before on the same device, but this time it doesn't work. Odin seems to work fine and shows PASS! after 32 seconds, but my phone stays on "Downloading..." with the blue bar full. If I manually reboot the device and try to go to recovery, it stays on Samsung model logo, no recovery loads. Otherwise I can boot the phone just fine. What could be the issue?

Try other version like 3.07, works me best(haven't tried 3.09).

Do u have 4.1.2 or 4.2.2? U need diffrent recorvery to 4.1.2 and diffrent to 4.2.2. If u flash wrong recorvery, ur recorvery don't open and It stays to Samsung logo like u said

if you're on 4.2.2 try this guide

You guys are my heroes! I was on 4.2.2 and apparently had the wrong CWM Recovery file! I used the one mentioned in the guide with Odin 3.09 and it worked!

Twrp is with touch options.

after rooted with odin v3.0.7
i done all the steps perfectly with help of this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2274495
but my phone stucks at boot loop

Hello. Try cm11 M7. Did u do hard reset when u flashed cm? Do u use right build? (not gt-i9105p.)

S6 Stuck on Downloading
Hi, I have a former demo S6 which I used for VR, I am trying to wipe/using a reflash but only have access to the AP file on the Demo Thread as all the BL files etc. are no longer available for download, I am selling this unit on so I just need it back to it's stock but am stuck on downloading after the ODIN successful pass, can anybody help me?

last night i was installing SaMyKat v3 final but was unable. when i reboot my devise from recovery mode tried to flash super su the devise did not restart and it was dead after that please help me what happened do my devise as before this i rooted many devise but had no problem at all. please help me as soon as possible.

U can try usb jig. It will force ur device to boot in download mode.

but one more question when i restart of power off the device it vibrates too much .... before this it was not having such problem ...

I also had same problem of vibrating too much, but after factory reset it solved
