Actually you can install a CM11 theme that has lolipop UI. It makes your tablet look very similar as real touchwiz.

Haha! Got good laugh! Anyway, my tablet doesnt have any laggs in touchWiz but my old phones have been very bad for touchWiz. I think its good on tab 4 7.0, i'd still prefer some of CM11 themes for cool options and better design. When theres not difference in speed ill stick with touchWiz atleast at 4.4.2 rom havent tried 5.0.2 touchWiz on my tab yet....

it seems to me that the people who regularly participate in this fantastic forum forget that there are newbs who show up here for many various reasons who know NOTHING about most of these topics and therefore do not have any idea what a certain thread is talking about.
i'm here searching for how to install a recovery something or other so i can make a Nandroid so i can install a Magazine UX theme launcher, and I come across this Touchwiz launcher apk - which is i'm assuming what came with my Tab...? what's the purpose for this apk? screenshots? etc...?

What is it exactly that you want the launcher for? Certain features or just the look? Getting certain features like multi Window and such are not as easy as simply installing an apk

So the look is what I'm getting from this. Download another launcher and apply touchwiz theme is probably your best bet

i found a on xda to port S4 flare lockscreen to galaxy tab 2 running touchwized JB 4.1.2. and i tried to flash that too to my touchwized CM10.1 p1000 and didn't work. my tablet stuck at cyanogenmod logo i though that will work on my touchwized JB rom but it's not
could someone port s4 flare lockscreen to our P1000? i would be thankful to dev that could port s4 flare lockscreen. i would be very happy too if there's someone can port S3 Ripple Lockscreen to p1000 :angel::angel:

Tried the vrt theme, won't work ._. I think that's all will won't work because i though that just replacing the ripple lock for the touchwiz rom while P1000 running cm10.1 doesn't have ripple lock (?)

I have already asked the devs of DN3 and they have said that we need 4.3 to make it work, but that it should be very easy to do.

It might not be that easy, because there's no Samsung based 4.3 out, the highest it goes to is 4.1.2, and unfortunately it probably won't work on a CM10.2 ROM because AOSP/AOKP ROMs lack the Samsung framework - and they can't add it. There might be a way to port some of the apps over though, I'm sure I saw a ROM in the dev section that had things like S Health and S Translate.

I'm guessing we are looking for a mod, not a rom. The rom are available in the Android development section for s5 ports. We wanna be able to use other roms + s5 features!
