thanks but I already tried cm11 and mokke os. but the known issues are... initially after the boot .both has extremely slow
performance... I want a ROM .. smooth like slimkat or liquid smooth and which also has dual sim compatibility.. but I didn't try crdroid.. is that great??

Since the 11th June nighty, the boot lag bug has been fixed. Now there is no lag after or while booting up.

What is a Hybrid?
Hybrid kernel means the core although still has the 3.4.0 kernel label, it has incorporated many advanced features available only on Linux 3.8+ and beyond. I have backported many of those advanced features for Linux 3.4, hence the name hybrid!

yes but i quickly switched back to stock rooted. the snapshot build is laggy compared to the stock version (at least the launcher is when scrolling) and bluetooth did not work for me
Thanks I think I'll wait for stable releases to come shouldn't be long now

It's far from even being "OK".Stick to stock for the moment, it's not even comparable to CM11 atm.
The nightly are currently less buggy than snapshot m5

[Q] Which is the best L ROM?

I faced lots of CM12 ROMs on the development thread, and I'd like to know which is the more stable and customizable one.
Sent from my Moto G using XDA Free mobile app
It's in early stage, so there are no stable and customisable lollipop roms.

At this point, to my knowledge they're all built from cm sources directly... So if you sync the repo to your PC and build from cm sources, you'll end up with exact same ROM as all current lollipop ROMs.
Please don't create best ROM threads
Nobody answered my question, EU I did it myself. If you guys wanna know, the more stable is Validus Team's ROM,because dialer is working perfectly and they improved the performance settings.

[Q] cyanogenmod vs stock

I would like to know that if cyanogenmod performs better on moto g3 than stock or it's worse? I previously used xperia sp and official cyanogenmod was worse on it than stock.
In every way CM is 100% better than stock rom....
Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
Has anybody run any benchmarks (like Antutu) on CM for this device? I have not seen any yet.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSrK1Xv_SBI - The animations on the stock Moto G definitely seem way smoother than mine and apps seem to open faster as well. I'm running Cyanogenmod 12.1 latest nightly with Blu_Spark kernel.
edit: Actually no, my apps open faster than both devices but the animations still look smoother. I'm running Nova Launcher tho (with stock animations), not sure if the launcher messes up with the animation frames tho.

Not for me. I reverted back to stock. I tried cm12.1 and aosp for a week and stock seems to be the best in both performance and battery life

I tested cm12.1, and had no problem. working well.

Great question, even I was wondering if CM 12.1 (unofficial) is better than stock or not.

Stock also has bolts... I am at 4.4.2,stock, i dont mind hopping if there are any better custom roms of same kitkat version but with a gud battery life, the problem i am facing is with camera, the images captured at times r blurred, also the battery is discharging fast over night, earlier it was very good, also messaging app freezes for abt 10-15 seconds at times while reading or sending msg... These r the issues now days
Thank you so much brother for replying... Stay Blessed

You lose some of the stock features like quick memo and slide aside, but I think it's worth it for the improved UI (cleaner/less cluttered) and performance. Double tap to wake and sleep still works. Cm also has better themes that can change boot animation, on screen buttons, etc.

Yeah, you need to use gapps that match the Android version of the ROM. I suggest 5.1 open gapps. I can't post links yet. You can find the open gapps by searching for CyanogenMod gapps.

Any special requirement needs to be taken care off before flashing this CM ROM?
I've seen many people reported issue when coming from other versions of ROM or other ROMs.
custom recovery version? bootload version? bootcode or whatever it might be?
