A friend of mine lived in Thailand for a year and picked up a phone while he was there. Its a i-mobile IQ 5.1. I was hoping someone here can tell me what direction i should go when it comes to putting a new rom on it. I cant seem to find anything on here about it and the only website/forum i can find about it is in Thai. I dont know anyone that can read Thai and unfortunately Google translate isn't very good when it comes to translating longer texts. The site is called droidfriend (it wont let me post a outside link)

You are correct there is no info on XDA.
One suggestion - When you search the net, if you use Chrome browser, it will do a good job of translating- I just tried it on 2 websites that were posted in Thai - it took about 20 seconds but worked just fine !!

Yes, pretty sure it does and I totally agree it's confusing.
There does not appear to be many resources for that device, I have not tried any search engines other than good ole' Google.

Yes I am noob, new to these sites.Thank you to the guys who were actually helpfull with their posts, shabicht inpaticular thank you for the link. With my inexperiance I was unsure of where to appropriatly search for the right info. I figured that being as how I discovered the link on THIS SITE in the first place that I'd start by looking for help on THIS SITE. However all that I received were and very un-helpfull replys,there must be a lot of bored people out there with nothing better to do then to insult someone with little experiance in this area looking for some help.
I only paid $11 for the theme, addmitadly after receiving some actuall helpfull advice from others I did discover that there are better ways to improve my device.
I'm not sure how this site usually works,the site was recomended to me. I'm disapointed to see the amount of rude remarks I received when simply looking for a helping hand.
Probably a basic question, but in he last few days my internet seems to be corrupted/set up wrong, all I get is the headings, and a serie of boxes and "0's" how do I change this?

I am using opera, but I am getting the same problem with IE.
Im having the same problem on the TP2 with tmobile uk. I think its to do with the google mobile view for web pages. If I go directly to the page rather than searching for it its fine. Give it a go and let us know!

I think you are right, funny though until a coupe of days ago it was no trouble, could google have "upgraded" something?

I think this would be nice, however I have never seen anything about a stand alone YouTube Tab. I wonder if someone could write the program to add the tab like the guy did for the Facebook Tab.
I searched for some info on how to make a custom tab, but I cannot find anything related to developing a tab.... any ideas?

Im running youtube 2.6, runs well but its cooked into my rom so i dont have the cab.
I do have another one though, but havent tried it.

I think the guy working on the facebook tab found that HTC had done alot of the development work themselves and had hidden it away. Atleast thats how it reads. So maybe this isnt such an easy thing to do

Ah sorry mate, misunderstood. Like a FB thread going around, ive read this is not such a simple thing to do either, good luck.
Good idea though, id trade it for the twitter tab anyday of the week lol

Same here buddy, would be nice but doubt we'll se it happen any time soon..
yeah, I agree that it does not seem easy...seems like too much b$ just for something so simple....i dont know, I am not a newbie to programming, but this is like a whole other world of programming (or w/e you will call it)...
in theory: I would need to put a place holder for a new tab OR take an existing one and change it... have that tab point to/open up the YouTube executable and thats it!...
in practice (it seems): I would have to recompile/decompile/edit multiple manila files...? which even that is sounding much more easier than actual 'practice' of this theory...
any ideas?

Just to let you know that I participated on a new french app with 2 of my dev buddies called O'Ciney
App is for Movies addict (looking for a "now playing movie", some hours or movie theater nearby).
We tried to add a Movie theater mood to the app and work hard on the UX, I know it will not be useful for you guys out there but I only wanted to show you this and maybe get some feedback from the most courageous of you all
You can DL and try the app since it's on the Google Play (and it's free !)
Please give us your feelings about it and let us know how we could improve the app.

Unfortunately i am not french, so the app isn't all that useful to me, but i love the design. Gourgeous Visuals and cool mechanics.
If you ask me, IMDB should send you a truck full of money and ask you to build them a decent app.
The UI is really cool but the UX was not all that great. It seems you are using Allocine's API for the source of information so we have odd results at the end.
For instance I have attached suggested pictures from John Travolta's profile... WTF??? Wikipedia would be better lol
Another point is the thumbnail that hasn't been uploaded while visiting Sir Tarantino's profile.

Yep AlloCine's API.
John Travolta was part of the cast on that movie mate lol look at the upper left corner he is ..the lady (is that your point ?)
For Sir Tarantino guess it's due to the API.
Fact is we'd love to turn this app international (like imdb) but we need to plug it to a great web services (API). And it's hard to find a partner.

Yes I know I mean that I expected some pictures of John Travolta himself and not film posters he did. When I want to have more details about a filmography I go to the related menu.
That's why we need to use another API since we're unfortunately kinda slave of that web service reply.
And we need to know hours of movies if it is 3D or else.
We will have to ask every movie theater that want to be on o'ciney and plug us to their info. Tricky, but not impossible

Has this been ported to the Note 5 trough an apk file? I found a apk for the S8 but it runs real sluggish on the 5.
Google note 8 apps ported. There are quite a few. Live messages works great for me, however, it saves them to big for me to send. I have to send them from Google photos.
