10 points to Droid Life for this one. I didn't even notice this. But in the screenshots for Google Now which shows off how to stay updated with the 2014 FIFA World Cup – Google may have teased Android 5.0. I know what you’re thinking, everything looks exactly as it does now, and that’s true. But look at the time. It says 5:00. Now in the past, Google has used 4:00 for ICS, 4:10 for Android 4.1, 4:20 for Android 4.2, 4:30 for Android 4.3 and 4:40 for Android 4.4. So, 5:00 seems like it would be Android 5.0, right?
This wouldn't be the first time that Google has done something like this. They updated an app in the Play Store prior to the Android 4.2 release which had 4:20 as the time. So this could be Google getting us hyped up for the Google I/O developers conference in about two weeks, or it could just be Google trolling us, which has also happened before. With Google I/O in just a few weeks, it is possible for us to get a new version of Android, but I don’t think anyone is thinking Android 5.0, I think we are looking at Android 4.5, as the bigger releases usually come in the fall these days. Maybe it’s time we start getting our Android 5.0 wishlist together, or perhaps its too early?

Does anyone know if Google plans to correct this?

Don't know, but I can confirm that I have experienced this issue...
All Android devices have this problem, the question is whether Google is working.

Sigh
The GNote is the Android device with worst latency issues in the system itself ive used at release. So to pick the GNote with the firsts builds against the iPhone 4 is one of the few ways to make the iPhone win.
The KAA and KL3 builds dont have this issue (not for me atleast) and are newer builds than what was shipped with the phone at the release.
Done the same thing with my GNote and recorded with the piano app. And i got faster response than the iPhone 4 using the KL3 software on the GNote.

@Alejandrissimo
thank you, I reported the error.
@robertsydbrink
Hello, I do not believe in what you say, the latency problem is inherents in Android. I am also in KKA. How can you defend this? By doing so you encourage the immobility of Google. You can make a video of what you say ?
Go to stores to compare some Android tablets against the iPad 2. The latency is very marked.

If you own a Motorola DROID 4 and have been wondering whether or not you would ever see the day when Android 4.0 would grace your device, wonder no more. While, this isn’t quite confirmation of any official OTA, it would appear that an official test build of the MotoBlur-skinned Ice Cream Sandwich update has been spotted over on Droid Forums.
Before you blow a load on yourself, keep in mind that the waters get really murky when dealing with updates of this nature. Past experiences tell us that Moto phones and leaked test builds don’t always play so nicely with one another. In fact, you could possibly find yourself stuck on the new test build, with no surefire way of returning to Gingerbread without turning your D4 into a big, fat brick. Be careful!
If you have the cojones to proceed, you’ll want to head over to the original post, by Hooks405, in the source link below. Make sure to read the instructions carefully before doing anything. We’d hate to see anyone break their phone, but we won’t be held responsible if they do.
Oh, and we’re also hearing that Voodoo RootKeeper isn’t working after the update either. Hopefully, someone will find a workaround for that soon. Source: DroidForums, OMGDroid Via: Droid-Life

Galaxy S III Android 4.0.4 Full ROM Leaked, S-Voice And All The Other Stuff

SOURCE : Kickedface
Looking for an early taste of the new Touchwiz? Here it is! A leaked Galaxy S III rom is out in all it's bandwidth crushing glory! A whopping 800MB download awaits those eager to get their hands on Samsung's latest.

The Galaxy S III and its new version of Touchwiz will make about a million additions to Android.Somewhere in this download are things like S-Voice (A Siri-style virtual assistant), Pop-up Play (a floating video window), and Smart Stay (which uses the front facing camera to refresh the screen timeout), just to name a few. Developers (and eager bloggers) should start ripping into it immediately.
The full rom, if you've got about 40 minutes of download time to spend, is available right here.
S-Voice is available as a separate download here, but Samsung's cloud compute server is very picky about who it responds to. The general theory going around is that is only listens to Samsung devices, but you're welcome to try.
Epic stuff bro!

[Q] What's up with Kit Kat? KLP?

Hello XDA,
I am still very confused about google's aleged new release of android 4.4, 5?
Earlier this year, I thought that common knowledge was google would release a huge update named Key Lime Pie, version 5.0. Now we know it's android Kit Kat (........), and according to some pics and videos, it is version 4.4? Why would google not make it 5.0? Are they planning something new for android 5? It looks like (according to these leaked pics) that they are going for a very new UI, which I think would constitute a new version of android.
Here are the pics I was referring to:

(see the 4.4 android version)
I don't know if those pics are fake, they very well could be.
Thanks for the help!

What do you mean by this?
i was also under the impression that it was to be version 5.0
not sure where 4.4 came from
could you provide a link of where u got these images?
im sure kit kat is just a preview of what's to come like jellybean 4.1 to 4.2 and 4.3, it gives the community a better way to develop more options..
I think we feed into the version numbers a little to much... I believe following the nicknames is a better indicator that something is going to be different about the next update, or at least a bigger change... When we get to 5.0, there might be a big UI change...

Google announced today that the Hangout app for Android and iOS will get a major update. It starts today with the Android, the version for iOS will follow later.
This update will be focused on "staying connected with friends and family", who then is the purpose of basic Hangouts and any messenger program.
We see point point what are the new notes, although Google says that there are others not announced, but find out only after trying the app:
Sticker : penguins, pirates, koalas and of course cats at will! 16 new sticker pack (and more coming), saying with images what words can not.
Filters for video calls : sepia, vignette, black and white and others. Just a swipe during a video call to try them all and make the conversation more original.
Last seen : the same way as WhatsApp, Hangouts will inform us of the last activity of our contacts
Smart suggestions during conversations : for example, if someone asks "where are you?", Hangouts will show an option to share our location on the fly.
And beyond that, of course, the graphics in Material Design .
At the moment we don't have the APK to share, and for now the Play Store does not give hints to update, but we will update this article when it becomes available the file to download. Bookmark this and Stay tuned!
