So even after Swiftkey keyboard got updated with new themes still none of them was good enough so I decided to theme it myself. I came up with these designs.

Official themes are made by themselves and they sell them.
Dyou think it would be possible to accomplish something similar by using zip themer ? or something like it, i've always had problems getting apps to properly recompile after using the likes of APK tool etc to make edits

Its possible to theme apps with an app and a ROM with a theme manager. (New CM11 theme manager or T-Mobile one)

Added five new themes, check OP.
Great themes, they're so much better than the ones in the store.
Any chance you could put them on the offical SwiftKey store? It's a bit of a hassle to uninstall Swiftkey and install yours.

SwiftKey store is not an open store where anyone can post themes, it's their only way to make money from the app, so I guess it's not gonna be possible for any third party themers.
I will be updating my version every time SwiftKey updates itself and it won't be necessary to uninstall again.

Thanks! they are not images, I edited .xml files inside the apk and the app draws them after, I only modified a couple drawables like the shift button.
I updated the app by the way, removing unnecesary stock themes and tweaking the red one.

Looks nice. What colour should the keys while pressing be? Dark blue or darker gray?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I think darker gray.. ☺
But I think that number and other symbol should be black..
I like the new themes however I'd like to see white themes as well.
I use hangouts and it's a predominantly white app and would like to see like white keyboards with different color accents.
Maybe the blue from the previous OS, a green to match the color of the hangouts app icon... etc.
Thanks!

T-Mobile Theme Chooser
After trying to maintain an EVO version of JAMT for CM 6.1 the themechooser has solved all compatibility issues (Especially the flashing triangle-I wish the Desire was 4G!!) I've updated the icons a bit and I will try to bring the same level of granular theming available in the previous versions.
There are currently 2 versions of each theme, Free and Donate. The donate versions have more extensive theming and have themed battery percentage (through cyanogenmod settings).
Here are the results

1. Notification Icons
2. Battery Percentage
3. Progress Bars
4. Notification Bar Power Widget Icons and Background
5. Notification Bar Background
6. Notification Bar Footer
7. Text colours
8. Smooth Sync
9. Smooth Battery charge/discharge
10. Battery Percentage through CM Settings (Donate)
11. Keyboard themed (Donate)
12. Analogue Clock (Donate)
13. White contacts and dialler (Donate)

What's Not Working
1. Lockscreen/Reboot screen (T-Mobile Side)
2. USB Debugging notification (T-Mobile Side) - [Disable notification for unified look]
Other notes
The white version does not work well with the minimal carrier layout in CM7, the black version looks great with it though.
If you really like a feature let me know in market feedback so I will keep it in, people complaining about the look of something can ruin it for the people who love it.
If you have an issue PM or e-mail me, don't rate the app low if it's something that can be easily fixed.
If you do choose to buy a white version I recommend the donate, not the percentage one. The percentage version was created before I knew how to theme the built in mini-battery icon. Although the animation is less smooth, it does pick up changed fonts.
If there is a program you use and you want the notification icon themed let me know and I'll have a look.
Zipthemer Additions
Hinted Black Lockscreen
Hinted White Lockscreen
Gradient White Lockscreen (Experimental due to xml edits)
Please give feedback and rate the app if you like it!

WOW, why didn't I see this theme before. I love the way it looks, I will be putting this on both of my phones. Great work, thanks.
Great theme gas, just bought this and the black one...
I was wondering if, since you can change it whenever you like, you could make the donate version battery an actual battery? maybe put the percent inside? I love the keyboard but am using the free version solely because it has a battery icon. Having a percentage with the bar for both the 'regular' and 'show battery percent' options seems kind of redundant. Again, love your work
Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will probably change the battery icons (in the percentage version) in a future release but you *can* get the normal battery icon with themed keyboard and dialer if you purchase the standard 'donate' version.

I hadnt read this thread all the way through and missed that little tidbit...thanks for pointing it out
Also, let me know if I'm missing a beat here, but none of my app icons are themed Is that a work in progress or...?
This is a theme for Cyanogenmod 6.1 stable for the Droid Incredible. It is based on haxzamatic's gingerbread theme for Cyanogenmod 6.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=863110). I have also made a metamorph which should work on the incredible as well as OTHER phones running CM6.1 or 6.1.1 (e.g. evo, nexus, desire, etc)
Basically, this theme is similar to other gingerbread themes, but the accent color is CYAN instead of green. There is a bit more cyan in this theme than in the haxzamatic's own cyan theme as I have modded the signal bars and more.
I used haxzamatic's Nexus S V1.5 incredible theme as a base, and I modified it from there. This is my vision of what CM7 should look like.
Features:
- Framework/notification bar, browser icon, contacts app, and GB Launcher modified to have have Cyan as the accent color and not green.
- Modified email, gmail, sms/mms, and calender app with gingerbread notification icons
- Themed GB launcher included in the flashable zip
- Stock gingerbread keyboard and dark google search included in the flashable zip
- LWP from Nexus S included
Please let me know what you think.
Unfortunately, I am very busy, and will be unable to provide frequent updates. Anyone can use, modify, and reproduce this theme as they see fit.
To install, simply flash the signed zip over CM6.1 stable. CM6 UI Color XML is pushed to your sd so just apply the color theme on the home screen press menu, Settings, CM Settings, User Interface, Tweaks Extras, Select a theme and select Gingerbread. On the MetaMorph copy the xml from the android themes folder to the CMTheme folder! Or download the color xml here - http://bit.ly/e3Ou2P

This looks great. I love the Gingerbread green and all, but cyan is probably my favorite color. I'm thinking about maybe trying to do one myself in orange. Nice work.

But Im having trouble setting it up via metamorph (haven't really used it before) is anyone willing to help me set it up?
Damn that theme is sexy as hell
awesome job, couple changes please
theres a couple of things i would love you to add (will donate for sure if added). an updated headset notification icon, the current one is huge. a notification icon for playerpro that matches the rest of the notifications, and a blue messaging and gmail icon. i don't know much about developing, but these are basically just a few icon changes that would make the theme so much more complete feeling for me. This is by far the best cyanogenmod them i've ever used, great job!
any chance of this running on the evo or would it need some framework loving
yeah i actually PMed KGBxxx cuz on another thread he posted this sweet gingerbread keyboard that he currently uses and it would go PERFECTLY with this theme...

I tired using the metamorph version and when it starts to apply all the pars of theme it goes to bootloop when it applies framework-res.apk.
It's definitely possible im doing something wrong so any way you can walk me through applying it?

I installed this theme via the apk and theme chooser. Now the color of the font used to show the text of a tweet or facebook status in their respective widgets is too dark to read. Not sure about that one, understand that the theme chooser apk is more for devices that I do not update from day to day or for people who do not want to be bothered with flashing every day. But I will look into it. Thanks for the feedback.

Works on my Aria with the APK. Good Job, looks good. Although, the rotary, unlocker, well say, is the same, Not blue.
It's my understanding the theme chooser app does not change the lock screen. His lock screen looks that way because he said it was originally a flashed theme.

Theme is great. Could you please make nework status bar icons the same as in miui. And with no difference in colour for connected. =)))
Also different colors for settings look a liitle bit cartoonish. May be it would be better to make them all gray or smthng. IMHO)

you can pull the images out of the apk (use 7zip) and edit them yourself to your liking...
At least that's what I did for the wifi/3g/signal icons made 'em all white and added them to match the battery icon

when i was searching for this theme i found that the gingerbread miui roms had gingerbread statis bar icons with the miui battery....hence why it's like that...
to the other poster about the settings icons....it looked bland before i colored them lol
Jason I like the colored icons also ;-) this is a bad add theme TY
Is there any way you can upload the icon launcher for the app drawer as home one right now it's for squares.
Edit: The dialer doesn't show the phone or back button see the pic attached

Great theme, thanks a lot!
Looks great on my Evo - nicely done Jason. I needed a change from my normal blues and blacks.
Awesome, this looks great! Thanks!
Hi, below are multiple themes (all based on a Material design in several different colors) I've made and am sharing free of charge to everyone. I made these themes with the use of Photoshop, Gimp, ThemeDIY, apktool, Notepad++, 7-zip, and with color suggestions from members of XDA. If there's a color you would like to see that is not listed you can simply comment a color/hex code below and I will do my best to create a theme to match what you want to see. The icon pack in the screenshots below is not included in the themes as it is a paid icon pack. It is titled Devo by StealthyChief.
Right now I'm simply creating themes, though I'll likely start on an icon pack soon. Anyways, hope you enjoy.
Please note that these themes change audiofx, the play store, and again 21 other apps I just didn't want to post 100 screenshots.
DARKMATERIAL I have just added and released... it needs to be noted that this is a beta release and is an early version of the theme... it's mostly flawless but it does have a few issues with certain apps that I am working out. A second version to correct these issues will be released soon. Please do not be afraid to try it though... I love the theme. It is meant to be an alternative to DeepDarkness by moelle, though DeepDarkness is a great theme. I just believe all themes should be free of charge. I'm okay with charging for icon packs, but the themes are very easy to make. I don't know... it's just my opinion. If someone feels I shouldn't release the theme please message me and I'll consider taking it down. It's not a replica of the paid theme but it is definitely similar and was inspired by that theme. Anyways, enjoy!

If you're interested the hex codes of the themes I've completed are as follows:
Red: #960010 Blue: #058CD8 Orange: #FFBB33 Purple: #480096 and I've changed White to #FBFBFB
The more I think about it... I happen to prefer the color red generally, if you want this theme to be a different color let me know color or hex codes and I'll revert the theme and wallpaper to that color.

Could you do this theme in blue (068CD8) and another in orange (FFBB33)?
This theme looks really nice. Haven't put it on my phone yet but will as soon as I get home! Thanks for sharing with us!

Blue Theme Preview In OP
Orange Coming Soon...
If anyone has a color they want specifically, drop me a hex code for the color in this thread and I'll do my best to provide this theme themed to your color of choice.
Also... if you want transparency in your theme let me know that too...
Sorry.. I was busy yesterday. I'm finishing up the Blue theme now... I'll post it in the OP and the orange one is going to take me longer as I mentioned. It's such a bright orange I'm going to have to do a lot of small things to it to make sure the text is readable in all windows.
Red and Blue Material CyanogenMod 12 Themes now up in OP. Orange coming soon...And as always if you have a request just drop a hex code and any other info and I'll do my best to crank it out.
Edit: orange is done and up
Edit 2: I'm playing with a transparent variation of the themes available. Here's a screenshot. And I think I'm going to adjust the white slightly.
Alright... I've redone the OP and now have 4 themes up. If anyone wants to see something in particular just drop me a color code. Also I'm going to do a transparent variation of the four currently available and a black and white (dark/mono) theme. As the op says all themes are free and if you want something custom just request it. Enjoy... I'll have transparent variations and the dark theme up soon.
HTC One (M8) MultiRom: PACman 5.1.1; SOKP 5.1.1; CyanogenMod 12.1.1 (Nightlys updated weekly); ViperOne M8 w/Hypernova Kernel
Edit: I've got 5 up now including transparent RED
I'm sure everyone/most are familiar with the deep darkness theme... I don't want to take away from his great paid theme, but I'd like to offer something similar that's free because once again I think all themes should be free. So heres a preview of a free alternative to that theme that I'm working on.
HTC One (M8) MultiRom: PACman 5.1.1; SOKP 5.1.1; CyanogenMod 12.1.1 (Nightlys updated weekly); ViperOne M8 w/Hypernova Kernel
Edit: I went ahead and released the theme as a beta v1.0 though I'll correct the minor issues that present themselves with a few apps soon, but in the meantime here's a fairly flawless release for those interested. Screenshots in OP. If anyone has issue with the similarity between it and DeepDarkness please PM me. The colors are similar but I didn't use the paid themes icons, headers or exact color scheme. I simply liked the theme and have provided my take on it in a 100% free version.
Edit 2: I'm going to be designing new icons today for quick toggles etc. I'm planning on releasing v2.0 of MaterialDark and releasing at least transparent blue. For now I'm going to be working mainly on material dark. I want to create a better (free) deep dark alternative. Red will be my next project improving on it... But if anyone wants me to make a theme for their color of choice simply drop a hex code and I'll make one for them as well.
Edit 3: I finished late this afternoon and the .apk built, I signed it, and it looks like it installs but I get an error a few seconds later saying that it is failing to install so I'm gonna have to figure that out tomorrow.
How to Apply?
I have installed the apk, how can i apply the theme?
