Hi Everyone
Using a stock Spring LG G2 and having trouble with my text messages being.. scrambled. For every message, the body just reads "M+ Access code: 7258, Message ID: HTWE5379".
Any idea what this could be or mean? I've tried googling as an LG and as an Android issue but coming up empty. If I can provide any further details or if you have any thoughts please let me know.
Many thanks in advance.
Hi, I am guessing that you mean Sprint, not Spring??
There does not appear to be related info on XDA.
The closest info I can find on the net tells me it may be related to apn/roaming apn.
Since your device is stock, my suggestion would be call the carrier for assistance.
Good luck !!
Hi, I haven't found anything on your particular error. Strange.
I think it would be best to ask in the G2 Q&A section and see if people who own the phone can offer some insight.

Hope you figure it out! ?

Need assistance with hunting down information on the XDA threads or where to post a new thread.
Here is the situation:
- Hardware: Rooted Note II with Android 4.1.2
- Situation: Incoming call with no information displayed other than "Unknown"; call lasts 4 seconds
- Goal: Want to learn where to start looking in log files, etc., for any information that might identify the source of the call; that is, any associated network and carrier parameters and logged call details that can help determine the source of the call
- My Question : Where and what to post in these forums to make contact with anyone that can help OR to find the information where to start to learn if it is something that I must teach myself...
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

I was meaning to say too that I have attempted searching various terms in the forums -- "identify incoming call", "network details of call", etc. Did not have any luck with these attempts other than hundreds and hundreds of irrelevant hits. So, if someone can help me with a better search technique to find the information myself in the forums rather than starting a new thread I am open to that assistance also.
THANK YOU

The best place to start is in your phone specific device forum. This would depend on your carrier as there are several Note II forums on XDA. The N7100 and N7105 forum can be found here:
Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7100, N7105
I would search around there for your answer and if you come up empty, the best place to ask would be that forums Q&A subforum.
I'm having an issue in Go SMS where it will send MMS fine, but will always say it is unable to download any I have received. Strangely, it works fine when using the stock messaging app. I have done a thorough search on Google and XDA and have only found recommendations of altering the API or changing the settings within the app. I have spent hours researching and trying anything and everything. I've emailed the developers who have not yet responded to me and it's been two weeks. I left a negative Play Store review about their lack of assistance. Their response and proposed solution using their in-app method to help fix it doesn't function properly.
This is why I have come ask the magnificent XDA community to assist me in fixing this issue. This feels like my last resort.
I'm linking a logcat of the issue (I know that this typically contains the info of what the problem is, although I have no idea how to read one) in hopes that someone can at least tell me why this is happening and hopefully how to fix it.
Please help!

Hi there,
XDA Assist is not a support forum, we just provide navigational assistance.
Since your problem is with an app, I suggest posting in the General > Questions & Answers forum, though if you think your problem may be related to your phone or ROM, then I would ask in the forum for your phone, or the Q&A for the ROM you're using.

Hello,
Could someone be sending to the wrong person? Have you tried blocking them?
You can try posting your question in the forum linked below. You should get some fairly simple answers.

Hey guys,
For the past week I keep getting these annoying pop up fullscreen messages, something like:
"Please, install the latest Ubertesters hub version"
I can't recall downloaded any app lately, and I have no idea on where to begin...
What can I do?
Thanks!
Help, anyone?
Went through my app list, and I can't seem to find anything I didn't have for a long time time now. Nothing seems suspicious.
I have no idea what might cause this and it's freaking me out!
Assist is where we guide new users(read the stickies)
We expect senior members to know their way around XDA and post in your device Q&A or in the general Q&A if your device doesn't have a dedicated forum
