There are 1x1 widgets that display the current date and launch a calendar app when clicked, for instance this one : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.o172.DayWidget
But I am looking for a day widget which can be disguised as a regular icon, in order to have a calendar app icon but with the current date.
Does such a widget exist ?

anyone facing the problem that the widget DOES update but the number displayed on the homescreen is not very accurate, its the older weather, once you clock on the widget and takes you to the app, i see that the weather is different
as in the number on the widget does not get refreshed/updated however in the app it does.
any fixes for this?
I use the 4x1 HTC Calendar Widget - the one with the date on the left and the next up coming event on the right (choice 3).
I would really like to have just the 1x1 square that shows the date (no banner showing next event).
I know there are some apps that have a 1x1 square showing the date, but I really want the HTC style.
Anyone know how to do this?
Because I've put my weather widget on my lock screen I'm looking for any home screen clock widget with following features:
- no weather
- but WITH calendar or/and todo entries
- desirably digital one
- desirably flipclock
- desirably with date and the name of the day
That's sad no one knows.

It doesn't have calendar yet, but I'm working on that. No to-do as well, so just see what you think and if it's useful.
New sense 3.0 seems have this kind of widget, I'm not sure.

I need a widget suggestion for my OP7 Pro
I only want to see the weather icon only, no temp, location, etc. only the weather icon. Is there a widget you can suggest that has the icon only for the weather only, please?
