the proximity sensor on my nexus 4 has stopped working ever since i flashed stock image of the recently released 4.4.3,
please can anyone help me whats wrong with my device ?
Also can anyone tell me what are the binary files available on google developers page , and does one need to flash these too with the stock image ? and if yes how to flash them ?

Hi i just Upgraded to lollipop these week and moded it a bit
What can u mention is that now i using a custom rom with some ported apps from note4 that is have no problem and the rom base is still stock android 5.0.1 for i9500
I dont know what apk or Something get changed or i changed something wrong and now any text i enter in messages app and whatsapp or similar app turn into link
For Example i want to type : "hi.ok" it turns into link "hi.ok"
But if i type "hi. Ok" its allright and no problem
This mean something handle this content is missy detect any sinple text as link.
Could you helppp me plzz devs how to fix this?

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I don't why you're having that issue. It could be things you've modified or the app. I would return to stock and then install your apps and see if it's working correctly. Then do what ever mods you did. Tah'll narrow it down to an app issue or the mods you did.

Unlucky is not any solution becasuse the version you tried to mod is not compatible because your dz09 is a fake version with 32mb of ram and non flash that means your pcb never gonna work without the original firmware from the factory, so all you need to do is re-flash with the original firmware, PS:if you dont backup the original file all you have to do is ask your saler from a refund or a replacement.
Guyzz I have been facing a lot of issue of proximity sensor.... I'm currently on Stock 6.0.1 MM and I checked the proximity sensor on device help ... It was green even though I hvnt covered the proximity sensor ....U can check the SS at attachment... I also know that I have to root my device nd install the Xposed installer ... But is there any solution for it without Xposed.... I need ur suggestions don't ignore it

I have an issue with my pixel 3, after rooting , and installing the Aquaris rom , i had tried to return to the beta Q of Google , once I had reinstall the Q beta , I can't use my phone properly, almost sensors don't work any more , the squeeze, rotation , proximity sensor , can anybody help about this issue there any solution to resolve the problem of the sensors, it's my main phone: (

did you find a way to sort it out ? I'm affected just the same as you described.
Go to developer options, Quick settings developer tiles, enable sensors off, see status bar & enable it and then disable it.
