One day I found the Note 10 stich with Samsung logo, (as if it was booting)
I can boot into recovery, flash a ROM, but no luck booting it.
Every boot attempt gets stuck at the same stage, with Samsung logo.
How can I diagnose the problem(s) , find what kind of error stops it from booting ?

I tried to reflsh the official N8000XXCML2_N8000NEECML1_NEE - in case it was somehow corruped.
Before it stopped working, it was running the same, official N8000XXCML2_N8000NEECML1_NEE , rooted, of course.
I had no luck doing a factory reset, - I can get into download mode just fine(power+voldn), but power+volup does not "work" (it just get stuck as usual.)

Sorry, I can boot into dowmload mode, Voldn+power.
I can not enter volup+power menu, in order to do a factory reset.
Basically, if I knew a way for do a factory reset, or clear cache, even by flashing a complete ROM using ODIN, I'd try that.

Ok, and if i understand, if you reboot your tablet normally, you go to samsung logo ?
Do you confirm that ?
If so, reflash your kernel

I've already reflashed with the file I linked to, surely, that flashed the kernel too ?

It worked for me after i flashed official 4.4.2 in my n8010
Is your rom 4.1.2 or 4.4.2 ?
Envoyé de mon GT-I9100G en utilisant Tapatalk
the file I referred to, used (while it worked), and reflashed - was 4.1.2 -
PIT file did not help, no change.
I also flashed the german 4.4.2 , and then even PIT again.
no change in behaviour.
Flashing CWM recovery does not enable me to enter recovery mode.
I think there's a hardware problem, after all, it worked fine until one day I found it like this. Not related to any recent flashing.

Mate, you are an idiot for flashing Kitkat... You need to get things working straight before throwing a new bootloader into the mix....
CWM may not work due to flashng to flash a JB recovery onto a Kitkat rom (this is why I called you an idiot, sorry if it caused offence but it does make fixing things a bit harder)... You may need to find the CWM or TWRP that supports the new Kitkat bootloader and try that...

yes, it might not be the smartest thing to do, so no offence taken But I did already reflash the previous ROM (the one I used until the sudden failure) - then I repartitioned, and as an desperate attempt, flashed kitkat, partially in hope of big canges would replace mostly everything. I were unable to boot into stock recovery, so I tried to flash that as well.
For now, I bought a Note 10.1 2014 edition, after vacation I might tinker some more with it and by some luck get it working.
_but due to the sudden way it stopped working, I suspect a hw failure.

I have tried my best to make it work but I am not able to figure-out what is wrong with it.
I am able to boot into CWM but it is not performing functions like backup, restore, mount, system, etc.
But you can download the attached zip place it in the root of your SD-CARD and flash it from recovery.
After you fla**** with stock recovery, it will automatically OPEN CWM recovery.
You can scroll with volume buttons and center button to select and power button to go back.
But after reboot it will when you press power+volume up+centre it will boot in stock samsung recovery.
After you flash it you can also use ROM MANAGER and press Reboot into Recovery to boot in CWM Recovery.
It will not hurt your phone but i am not responsible for any harm to your phone.
Any help is appreciated.
EDIT: My recovery is not working. Use this recovery by Skin1980: www.multiupload.com/IGKG2L5RAF
Why is this in the Questions and Answers section?
Because I want help in making it stable.
I am not a developer.
But.. Galaxy 5's recovery works(for me atleast) on Galaxy Y, so you might wanna have a look at its code, it can not mount though.. and it also is overwritten or something and everytime I use ROM manager to boot up n CWM it gets replaced again(same as u said in short).
P.S. 'Thanks' for trying.
still wait to finish.i vote you
I expect this was a long time, trying out many more of you, I voted you

I have tried to flash it with ODIN but it failed then I made an update.zip package with your recovery but after flashing it soft-bricked my phone.
I think something is wrong with the recovery you should fix it.
I can test these recoveries for you but since I am going out for holiday for 10 days sometime I may not test it instantly.
Thanks for your participation in development for this phone.
HELP !
My Phone's bricked when I tried to flash my kernel with Bulletproof.. and I can't install stock rom with RUU with my Hboot (my Hboot is 3.01) and I haven't found a method to downgrade for install a RUU !
When I try to turn on the phone, it goes immediatly on fastboot ..
Can somebody help ?
Why you want to install a rom via RUU? Just flash boot recovery, then wipe everything and flash the rom via that recovery.
Simple as that.
I mean if I understood what the brick is, so I had my phone bricked 10 times then.

Good day guys. Have a time that will make my phone okay with this problem, I try to tell the story from the beginning. A long time I was with liquidsmooth ROM was normal until I updated my phone there and began to take a problem with GAPPS, spoke that the gapps had stopped, and I could not log into my Google account, tried several other roms and gapps and nothing, the solution came along with a restore to stock ROM, but then came another problem is that I consider worse, my recovery no longer reads the files that are in the internal memory, cant mount / sdcard (now recoverys tried several and all are having the same problem), and with that I can not flashing anything if not by sideloading the problem with this issue is that I can not give you factory reset to install other roms, I've put other roms stock and the problem persists. Does anyone have a solution? excuse my bad english. thank you

I'd recommend you restore the phone to stock from one of the stock images via mfastboot. Have you tried that already?
Download the right image (.zip), then unzip and the the .bat file while the phone is in fastboot mode.
Basically.. read this.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219
Once restored, start over...

You sure you run the .bat file? Because that .bat repartitions your phone's storage.
What's the exact error you get when you try to mount the /sdcard in recovery?
Also, when you flash a rom by sideloading can you bootup to that ROM? And if you can booup to the ROM, does the /sdcard mount OK??
I got the E: cant mount /sdcard, yes I Can Bootup in the rom but his stuck becouse I cant wipe. No, i cant mount

My GT-N8013 is struck at the boot screen showing" Samsung Galaxy notte 10.1" in the center of the screen. I can go to the download mode (home+ volume down) but can't go to recovery mode. (home+ volume up). The issue happened when I tried to revert back to the stock firmware 4.1.2. from Gnabo Rom V3 4.4.2. Please help.
Since you can go into download mode, try to flash on the 4.1.2 firmware with odin from sammobiles.com
If that fails, you might have to flash on the N8000 KitKat rom using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2770009

No i did not try the n8000 kitkat rom i did that a long time ago and I do not remember exactly what I did. I think I did a hard factory reset or something like that before flashing the rom. Sorry that I can't remember more.
what happen when u try to go into recovery mode?
So yesterday i done a pretty stupid thing of restarting my phone after I hid my SU binary using hide my root. This left what i think was a soft-brick as it was stuck on the samsung animation. I then stupidly enough got confused with my TWRP recovery menu and ended up wiping out my OS, leaving only the TWRP recovery on the phone. I then decided to download a 6.1.1 stock rom for my SM-G920F. When i tried flashing however, somehow ODIN froze and i made another stupid mistake of restarting my phone from download mode which resulted in the phone being froze on a screen saying " an error has occurred while updating the device software use the emergency recovery function s6 " cant provide an image as this is my first post, but please google the error message if you wish to see it
So i panicked thinking my phone was dead completely and surrendered, but today i managed to hook it up to TWRP and flashed the recovery. Now when i bootup i can access download mode and it boots straight to recovery. To make matters worse I began trying to download the original rom i recieved when i got the phone, however when i try flashing i get errors such as " SW rev, Check Fail: 'x' binary 'y' device "
(x and y vary for each stock rom i tried flashing.)
I have no way of finding out my firmware, bootloader info or anything. Is there ANY fix to this? I've made a huge mess of everything and I'm now desperate. Please, any advice would be a god-send. Thank you for withstanding this crappy post, I'm kind of a noob at xda.
EDIT 1- So I managed to install a custom ROM and kernal as i could transfer files while in TWRP for some reason but a new problem has showed up. So as of right now I have a custom rom installed which works, but when reboot my phone, TWRP is automatically opened after the initial samsung logo. I usually have to reflash my custom ROM (without wiping any data besides cache and dalvik) and the ROM installer will then reboot into the ROM, however this means when my phone turns off, my recovery is booted up instead of the ROM
I'm sensing some sort of Bootloader problem?

First off i dont own an S6 (im still rocking the S4), but i have had some problems over the years but always managed to fix them in the end.
So while in Download mode are you not able to Flash Stock ROM (downloaded from samfirmware) via ODIN (following the instructions on the site)?
In TWRP are you not able to flash a custom ROM (probably with OTG cable if you dont have the ROM stored on the internal memory).
Any issues i have had i have always been able to do at least one of the above methods. If you cant do either or, im not sure what else i would try.
Thanks
