My mom got a text from Verizon saying we could get the TB for $100 and also get a $100 credit that we could use for another phone. Has anyone else gotten this?

Where was the free thunderbolt being offered from on memorial day? It wouldn't be from amazon. Retsilers don't give better temporary discounts within the return period of an existing discount. It wouldn't make any since to have to deal with all the returns/re-purchases fromthe $129.00 buyers.... could you possibly post a link to the tweet please????
Thanks in advance..... I would jump on a free thunderbolt for at least two of my lines, and save another two for late this year/early next year for when the mobile technology starts to temporarily peak out again

Well i called WIND and they told me they'll charge me $10 for it. I was like no thanks, so I came here after many searches over google and xda. My question is can someone please provide me with a FREE unlock code for my LG G2x?

Unlock codes aren't free. If you talk to jboxer he may do it for a small donation though.

There are no wind codes for 99 cents. T-Mobile codes are cheap but the last time I checked wind mobile codes were around 10$ on eBay.

Though I never thought of eBay and just paid 10 bucks to wind yesterday. It is a rip-off considering I asked how much it was to unlock the phone when I was buying it and was told it was going to be free. Apparantly Wind decided to charge $10 about 3 months ago.

I decided to register my GS4 in my Samsung.com account, really easy you need your imei # date of purchase and store where you bought it.
Same day Samsung send me a code for 50% off on any accessory less than $50
So I purchase the external battery & Samsung charger for 25 bucks.
This is the stuff you should know before you purchase a bunch of over priced accessories in the retail stores.

You might have to sign in during the initial setup wizard, when the phone is new. I figured it was worth the factory reset to get 2 years of additional 48GB.

Once your bonus space goes away, you can't upload more files, and have to remove some to get your space under the new limit when the bonus space expires... At least that's what happened with me about a year ago.

What about the 50% off on accessories... Deal is still alive?? Is this valid in Canadan or for the U.S only?

Sprint GS4 user upgrading to N5 - sim card question

Hi,
I'm seeing some conflicting into about this in several different threads, so I thought it might help to address it in one location. I'm a Sprint customer and currently have a GS4. Will I be able to use my existing sim card to activate my N5 when it comes, or will I have to get a new sim card?

You can use your existing SIM (you will likely need to call in to Sprint customer care to get it swapped over though). I'd suggest that you request a new SIM anyway, for use on the S4 at a later point.

Thanks. I'm selling the S4 and telling the buyer that they'll need to contact Sprint for a new sim.

Sweet, that was quick. I'm still working out the logistics. I'm going to have to sell the S4 first because I can't afford to be out 400 bucks until the phone is sold. I was thinking about just taking my upgrade with Sprint on December 1st, but then I found out that Sprint is only selling the 16gb model. I'll probably use my upgrade to buy an iPhone 5S for $200 and hopefully sell it for $600-$700.

Yeah, I hear you. Luckily I had a nice bonus at work last month, otherwise I wouldn't have dished out the money. Hoping to sell the S4 soon. Put it on Craigslist with no hits yet so I'll probably try Swappa and Ebay next. Kind of glad it didn't sell yet though because that will at least give me the chance to go back if I have major buyer's remorse.

Exactly what I did. Bought an Iphone on upgrade contract, sold it for $582 to gamestop (30% bonus)... boom, profit to buy my 32gig

The in store credit amount is higher, then you get 30% extra on top of that amount if you buy a used game for $1. Then use the in store credit to buy gift cards you would usually use.
You could buy all shell gas gift cards, then take them there and buy all VISA gift cards... or just use them for fuel like I am.

Interesting. Did they hassle you about the phone being brand new? The guy I talked to over the phone said they they can't buy a brand-new, unopened phone, and he acted like I stole it or something. I had to explain my plan and the fact that I don't even have the phone yet.

Not at all. We opened it together. Heck I literally never even touched the phone itself. He did ask why. I told him the truth, that I was eligible for upgrade and the iPhones bring the most on trade and I bought a Nex5 off contract.

50% off on accessories for G3 AT&T

Well as you all know when you bought the G3 there was an offer of 50% on select accessories for the G3. The promo said that only one accessory would have the discount. Apparently the reps at AT&T will give you the discount on all the accessories if you ask nicely and this applies even if you did not buy your phone in AT&T and you bought it at Best Buy or RadioShack for example, also you do not need to buy it exactly at the time you bought the phone cause you have 14 days from the day of activation to get the offer. I used this advantage to get the PMA Case, the G Watch and the LG Ultra Headphones also you can get the iPhone 4/4s powermat bundle for $10 bucks if you can find an AT&T store that has it in stock, the powermat base works fine on my G3 and i have not experienced disconnection issues at night or neither i have found that it loses a charge after it hits 100%, if the charger doesn't work try exchanging it or try exchanging the PMA case. One little detail is that the LG Ultra headphones in the manual says that it comes with a plug to the wall charger, this charger doesn't come with the device it only comes with a usb cable. I hope this thread helps whoever has doubt's on the offer.

i got my G3 more than 14 days ago and i checked the website but none of the prices show 50% off. so im thinking about stopping by after work to the retail store and "ask nicely" and see if i can get 50% that way. what do you think?

Well i would say try it and be like i didn't know that was an offer or something and maybe they might give it to you, asking nicely goes a looong way and remember that they are salesmen they need to get stuff sold even if it's by giving them at 50% off. Worse thing that might happen is they say no and best thing is they say yes.
