i'm about to buy this phone . i want to ask about few things:
1- camera quality . i heared it's below 8 mp in samsungs and so on . is it really that bad?
2- speakers's quality and sound volume
3- screen . can i see pixels clearly or it's good . and colors as well
4- status bar shortcuts . can they be edited? i like the many icons in samsung's status bar and i wish it's the same in that phone
5- from your experiance with this phone . do u suggest it for me?

When pressed on the list of today screen themes. . .Like classic blue or HTC black. . . it changes the colour of the 2 taskbars. . .is there a theme or themes that also change the look of the taskbars. . (and the softkey one)

not sure to understand; are you talking about changing only the PNG files use by the top and bottom taskbar like in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=642832

You must download the cab you prefere, copy it on your device and by FILE EXPLORER run the cab for instal it on DEVICE memory.
Soft reset for apply change. That's all.
Hello every one , my galaxy S i bought 2 weeks ago is boring , i was exploring the stock 2.1 Eclair update 1. i have no ROM , no lagfixes or any builds
just stock GTi9000
Frimware: 2.1 update 1
basband : i9000JXJG2
Kernal version 2.6.29, build number , EcLAIR.JPJG8
most versions i see on youtube , are with more advanced looking , i mean they don't have the boring " green phone " on the homescreen next to the orange contacts , and the messaging , then application ,

they have a grey semi transparent one and some how it looks like higher resolution and cleaner pic, every thing is stock here, and since i don't have market i strugle to get an app, but i downloaded a vending.apk file and i have the market too bad i have the starting download stuck bugg ( didn't fix it yet )
i was wondering if someone could tell me how to pimp my Samsung galaxy s i9000 ( international )
to get all these cool looking things and cool looking phone with the nice lock screen and big digital . thx in advance btw iam new to android mobiles and samsung galaxy s is my first mobile

I think what you're looking for with the Homescreen is LauncherPro or the like, a homescreen replacement. It's free on the market, but seeing as you're having issues with the market you may be able to get the .apk from the dev? Not sure.
i got the apk file, but when i download an app it gets stuck at starting download any idea ?

The frist thing that I want to tell you is that the toggles are not work well,but I can't fix it ,so I put the files here and hope all of you could help me..
We can change the order of the widgets buttons ,and choose which widgets to show like cm7.But the wifi button and the screentimeout button don't work well ,when I use it I will get a FC ,so I hope you can help me to fix it.
The smali files are in

Did they cease to exist? I don't see any updates for the past year.
And a related question: If Slim does not update their Roms anymore, is there an alternate Rom that follows the same principle - lightweight with the same customization options (preferably some of the unique features, such as SlimRecents), and the same range of devices (I'm looking for good support for Google/LG devices)?

I just moved from a Nexus 5 to a OnePlus 7 and simple things for me,
like moving the cursor with the volume keys and showing the date and AM/PM in the status bar,
now seem out of reach.
