Hi,
I've bought a new pad that is "unknown : not popular , called Accent Atlas"
Everything works fine ,but i have a prob with the navbar , it's uncustomizable and it dosn't contain the setting button.. So i want to replace it with anonther one more customizable , is that possible without root?
Thank you.
p.s : my pad dosn't have any custom rom or even a downloadable frimware
Hi there,
It won't be possible without root I'm afraid, the device is very unknown so you could (if you wanted) try some very generic root methods like Root Many Android, which works on plenty of 4.0+ devices or Framroot
Once rooted GravityBox allows you to customise the NavBar to some degree.
I hope this is useful, but unfortunately without root you won't be able to do much
Ok Thank you for your answer ,the prob is trying to root isn't 100% safe and I can't even get it official framework,And if i root i will lose the waranty
i will leave it as a last choice ,any other suggestion?
Thank you

Root exploits are always detected as malware.
The issue is that your device is so unknown that there are no specific root exploits for it. If none of the generic root methods work, you mat struggle to find one that works.
You could always ask in the Q&A section to see if anyone with the same device has rooted it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help
Other than that I don't really see any other way forward.
Thank you for your answer
I don't know how but i installed the supersu and everything is working fine, i replaced my navbar with the ultimate dynamic navbar, that fixed my first prob but now i have a new one, in the old navbar i used to have a little statusbar now i don't , so i can't see battery % neither the new notifications and i don't have toggles.... any solution for that? can i add thats to the UDN ? or is there other better navbar? (i preffer to not add a new statusbar in the top of screen)
Thank you!
May I remind you that this is not a tech support area, merely a point in the right direction, you need to ask any questions in the relevant thread. So for UDN please use this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2270198 (Users will be more knowledgeable as they use it more often so please ask there)
For SuperSU questions regarding root ask here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053
And if you need more answers please ask in the general Q&A: http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help

I want to give my S3 Mini Root Access to potentially start installing Custom Roms. However, researching the topic has gotten extremely confusing. I have the international version but I don't know from which country. I got it off Amazon.com. My questions are
1. How do I go about giving this S3 Mini root Access
2. How do I go back to the Stock ( Samsung FW/ Rom if I do not like the Rom I installed)
3. Are there easy methods to rooting with a MAC device? ( My main computer but I can find access to a windows computer if needed)
amazon.com/gp/product/B009PLBLQC/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Any help or information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was able to root my phone. Now my question is that I would like to run a lag free system. Would changing the Rom fix that? Will I lose any features on my phone? I want a rom that is Simple ( google edition phone/ no bloatware) My current system is 4.2.1, would I need to stay on 4.2.1 to keep my features or that doesnt matter.
Please post that question in Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting so that the right experts may help you.
hi
i own a Z2 (d6503)
-bootloader unlocked (everything else is custom) i had rooted it previously but i think i lost the root access while updating the firmware to 4.4.4 using EMma
my problems
1. Google services are not working over wifi, but there is no problem with mobile data.
i have tried clear cache method already
2. Phone isn't turning on in recovery mode. neither manually (with buttons) nor with quickboot or PC
everywhere i found the same method: turn off, power on and wait for led to light up then press either of the volume buttons repeatedly. But the led doesnt light up
3. I have lost my DRM keys while unlocking the bootloader. (no TA backup). my bad.
what did i looose other than xreality engine? can it be recovered? how?
Please help
i am familiar with rooting and know a little more than an average user. But at the end of the day i am a noob too.
One more thing: for the new firmware is the rooting method the same?
Hi,
My best guess is you will need to reflash all stock software but I would suggest asking in the device specific q&a forum to get the best answer on what to do
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/help
Hope you get everything up and running again!

First of all say Hello to every one cuz i'm new on this forum.
Second: I'm here cause i have a problem with my phone, it's a lenovo s860i chinese (fake,no lenovo). The phone started to be slow and install apps for itself, avg antivirus told me to uninstall some apps, so i rooted it cuz that apps were on system. Then i uninstalled some apps, one of them the app "themes"" with king root (Not a good idea). Since that moment i can only see the notification bar, no more. I tried to do a recovery but doesn't works (but i can start the recovery menu) Any idea?
I'd like to install Cyanogenmod 12 too, may be this possible?
Thanks for reading and sorry for my english, i'm not good with it.

Hi I want to root my opo 64gb model running on cm13. Please help me with some links. I want to root it since i want to use the Sultan ROM. I have heard so much about it. Please HELP HELP....
If you're on CM13 then go to Developer Options, scroll down till you see Root Access, tap on it and choose Apps and ADB. I hope I helped you.
There are so many resources available on the oneplus one forums on XDA. If you want to root, then I suggest using the search function so you can help yourself root your phone.
I have spent the last few hours researching and though I have rooted a good number of phones in the past, this one is stumping me. There's a number of "single click root" applications but for one, I don't often trust those, and two, most say they're for android 4.1.1. My phone was 6.0.1 stock out of the box. I have the SDK I have adb working just fine, but I can't get too much further with the root. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi !
I won`t recommend any rooting methods unless they are described and well supported here on XDA but , unfortunately , your device doesn`t show up here so better try a Google search and carefully read it
A good start you can have here https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
Good luck !
