If anyone is interested I've created a twrp 2.7.1.0 flashable zip for my own use which I'll share. All credit goes to Team Win and Dees_Troy
http://d-h.st/bfo

do u know what the fixes/changes are

I don't know what the differences are. I just flashed it and haven't played with it yet. Just happened to find it while looking for it for another device.

For info:
I enabled sd-ext
I also enabled modem and radio options in custom nandroid jobs:
Code:
# amss.bin
/radio emmc /dev/block/mmcblk0p13
# mdm.bin
/modem emmc /dev/block/mmcblk0p17
Just flashed this recovery and its working fine. I cannot test USB Mounting as my computer is being stupid and cannot detect anything on any USB. I also flashed Carbon ROM on my Blaze here and it booted up fine. Safe to say that recovery is working as it should!
AWESOME! Since moving to the 4.3 roms I've been looking for a touch enabled recovery that would play nice with the newer roms.

Wow, thx for taking the time.
Just flashed and the usual functions that I use are working great (backup, restore, wipes, flashing). From CM10 to 4.3 ROMs.
Man this has a ton of features . ......
This recovery kicks ass! I finally had a chance to put it to work (run a backup, delete off some old backups, install a zip, etc...) I love being able to run CWM by touch and it's so smooth and quick. It's very responsive and seems to process tasks much quicker! Awesome work Phil3759 thank you!

Dude your everywhere.Lol
Thx for porting your recovery to the blaze. i also used it on my gs4.
Is there a setting to update the time? Mine seems to be out of sync so it's time stamping my backups incorrectly.

Just to be sure, my man, the upload date is 11-30 on the latest zip. Is that the right zip?

Sorry, a little turkey buzzed! Got my numbers mixed up 2.6.3.8 update!

It's in the T-Mobile Note 3 forum, Original Android Development section, or just go to the twrp website and search for hltetmo. You should be able to flash over your existing twrp using the existing twrp and a .zip of the new one.

Actually goomanager will report that nothing found for the GS5. FYI, TWRP has had many reports of being unreliable (not being able to restore a backup). Many users are using Philz recovery instead.

Here's TWRP, After you make a backup, try to restore. I found that it failed.

[Q] Install Carbon using Philz?

I was able to get Philz installed using Heimdall in Ubuntu, but the Carbon page here at the forums states to use TWRP to install. Can I just install Carbon using Philz?
I recommend you to use TWRP, its the last version and work fine. Using philz perhaps you get issues, I don't try it

I went back and flashed again, but this time I compiled Heimdall from source instead of using the PPA, and TWRP loaded right up. Added the zips and Carbon is loading, but I have to head out the door and hopefully everything will be good when I get back.
Thanks!

Are you using 6.0.4.5. I don't use cwm, I use twrp and I know it was fixed in that. It had the same problem for awhile.

Its not a bug. Its a lack of development
No recoveries on any snapdragon 800 device could get the correct time until we understood how the Qualcomm time daemon worked. Once we knew, it was implemented in Philz and TWRP. CWM doesn't bother implementing anything modern. Its a dead recovery.
