lg-Flash tool

Hi, anyone have link to flash tool old links are dead.
Also need Official ICS P920 V30A, needed to update the phone to JellyCream ROM V3.

Thanks, got it and running ics now, it was very easy and helpful to follow your guide.
Another question, If I wanted to go back to old gingerbread I think it was ver21g, how hard would that be?

I have not tried it, but you should be able to flash it in the same manner.

So I can flash kdz files with flash tool? or just the bin files only?

Pretty sure it must be .bin and/or .fls files. There is a tool that extracts these from .kdz, but I have not used it and do not know where it is. Likely you will find it in the General section.

The advantage is you can try different basebands (.fls) without having to flash the whole system (.bin).

[Q] Any D801 users still using the 4.4.4 Mahdi Rom?

Used this rom forever until recently flashing some new Lollipop roms to play around with. Ended up not really liking the new roms, and wanted to restore back to Mahdi. Unfortunately, I was a complete idiot and didn't make a backup. The Mahdi thread is cclosed, and the downloads no longer work. Anyone out there able to help me out? Thank you!

You cannot flash because you are now on lollipop baseband and boot loader. Try kdz back to 20 g...... May have to go back further than that.... As far as download links i don't know i have the required files backed up on my computer

Thanks for the reply. I'm now back on 20g, so if someone still has the downloads on their cpu (rom and d801 patch) then I'd be good to go.

The first is the rom second one is patch......... Hope this helps........

As of right now my data isn't working but I feel like if I clean install my ROM everything is going to work.....Kernel is serious business though we owe thar Dev and tx_dbs_tx our thanks without them our device would be so lame

It does not work. I tried everything. Even a clean install before flashing the Kernel. It makes the bootsound, but the screen is black, and never boots.

It boots for me have you tried using tx_dbs_tx stock deodexed rom? I still can't get the data to work and the phone might actually be the hottest I've ever felt a device almost burning my hands but i will get this to work. I'll keep you posted

Typo its work

I get a message when trying to flash it with CWM that says 'bad' and then it aborts. I found a .tar of twrp and installed with odin, then tried to flash the kernel zip from recovery and it actually said it was corrupt. It was the same with all four of the nightly kernels I found in the emotion files.

OK let's see, www.emotroid.com has no r. 22 up AT ALL. It also claims 915P but that on only goes to 19. So you tell me, why is this so great whenever it does neither of the two most important things? Such as support what it claims, and is actually there for download? Sounds like total operator error to me

I can tweak this Kernel with Synapse couldn't with BeastMODE which as far as I know thatz the only other Kernel (915P) can use!

Any updates?

IIRC at least one of the radios DID work for me. It's been awhile and I remember having more than 1 so I don't know what the magical combination was. Anyhow, check that thread.

However...
Just 2 posts before that, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65945872&postcount=15, you have to flash that zip. I did so in TWRP recovery. Using that combination got it working on my phone. However, if you're not rooted, I don't know what to tell you.
