Hi
My friend has a Moto G that has a problem while booting. The phone turns on to the startup animation. Motorolas logo appear, the globes are spinning, then the screen dimms and turns into dark blue. Is it a system error that can be fixed by flashing some stuff or is the phone a brick ?
Please help.
Bye
Try to factory reset first if this happened after attempting any rooting or flashing stuffs then he/she may have missed any step. Start from scratch after flashing stock rom only if factory reset doesn't work.

Hey, I'm new(like actually. no experience in doing this sorta stuff at all lol ) at all this and i have a sorta similar problem.
So this is what i did:
Tried unlocking bootloader
Thought it worked
Moto G restarted and went to "Android is optimising" screen
Wasnt there when it happened but suddenly it kept saying things crashed (clock crashed, android crashed, settings etc. )
Tried shutting it down
I can restart it and get into the Flashboot
I can restart but once the Motorola start finishes ( the globe spinning thing ) my whole phone crashes and it turns black.
Please Help D:
I need serious help, I updated my Moto G with the system update that came up on it last night, and ever since then it will not turn on all the way, before it would go through the animations and then just go to a black screen. Now it doesnt even do that, it either stays on the first load up animation without moving, or goes straight to a black screen. I've tried all the solutions, wiping the cache, factory reset everything and if anything they've made it work even less! Please help me, only had this phone 6 months can't afford another one :crying:
Try factory reset ..
What's your phone using?
Stock? Rooted? What Recovery are you using?

Hi people
I recently rooted my 1st gen moto g and installed TWRP recovery. The phone is out of warranty. I did this with the help of a friend.
Today another friend gave me this app - no frills CPU control and I tried to do the 'battery saving' thing. Nothing happened initially. Then I decided to create a backup using TWRP so I did. But after backup, when I'm trying to reboot, it isn't rebooting. It's stuck at the motorola sign, and isn't even booting in recovery. It just shows the Teamwin blue color thing, and then again gets stuck on the motorola icon. Can't even factory reset. Now I'm a newbie, whatever I did was with a friend before.
Now my dads pissed because this is the second time somethings wrong happened with my phone and the first time I could get it done as it was in warranty. What now? Help will be greatly appreciated
Hello Everyone,
I have been trying to help my friend with his soft-bricked G3. He wasn't rooted and had never even played with flashing anything, it just stopped booting one day and would display the "LG Life's Good" boot screen for a few seconds before going black and then just repeating this endlessly. I was able to get into recovery and download mode so I used the tot method to flash back to stock after a hard reset just produced the same results.
When I flashed the stock firmware, everything appeared to work fine, it went through the MiniOS bootup and everything, said success, gave me the hard reset status screen so when it finished I pulled the battery as instructed and rebooted but the phone still has the same issue. I have tried to run factory reset through recovery now that I flashed the new firmware and it still does the same thing, just hangs at the boot screen for a few seconds before going black and then trying again, endlessly.
Has anyone encountered this before? Is it bricked?
Thanks.

Pretty common prob plug it in to the wall charge see if it boots sometimes it still wont but most of the time it will the battery quality on the g3 is crap they last at most a year with a few exceptions i would first order a battery.
Hey everyone. I've already tried flashing my OnePlus but it still only gets to the point where it just flashes black and white after reboot. I tried everything I could think of. I use to be able to use a droid kit that was on here but it doesnt seem like the guy running it updated it for a while. I need help. Please and thank you.
What happened that caused it

It was up and running and I decided to try to upgrade it to cyanogen 13. Didn't flash correctly, decided to factory reset it from the recovery and then it died. Yesterday tho after some tinkering, I was able reload recovery but when I tried flashing cyanogen again (diff file this time) it finishes but never fully boots. I get the logo and all and it just sits there.
